We came here a couple years ago when it was a different restaurant. I'm glad it changed! A cozy but super spacious pub with a limited menu. But when you do it all right, who needs filler options? We started with the pretzel which was not your typical pretzel appetizer. It almost seemed deep fried. Crunchy on the outside and sweet and chewy on the inside. It was a table favorite. The mustard was a little sweet for my taste but the cheese sauce was better than any where else. The fries were delicious and beer battered- can't go wrong there. My husband got the cottage pie which was SO good I wished I ordered it too. Honestly the best way to describe it is a warm hug with tons of flavor. I got the pub burger, which I may pass on next time. The flavor was good and it was cooked perfectly. It was just a little too big to get a good bite which made it kind of sloppy. I'll opt for the fish and chips next time. The London Boy cocktail was so refreshing it was dangerous. Service was impeccably friendly and attentive. We love the proud display of inclusivity as soon as you walk in the door. A welcome breath of fresh air in these hostile times. A reminder to be kind. We can't wait to return!

Loudness at high tops by bar: 80 decibels. This is equal to being near a running lawnmower. The bar was only 50% full. We visited on a Sunday evening.I love the uniqueness that independent restaurants bring to our city. Nevertheless, this was a disappointment. My dining companion wears hearing aids, so open dining room seating is a tough experience for him. We asked to be seated at a table/booth but were told that without a reservation there was only bar seating. I was facing the hostess station and saw very few people being seated, so I assume no dining room seating was due to a staffing shortage. My companion is from the UK, so he was excited about the menu. He had the Cottage Pie and I had the Mac and Cheese. Both meals were delicious! We were disappointed that our server hadn't told us about the Sunday Roast offering. After we had placed our orders, we began scrolling through their website to learn more about the restaurant. That's when we saw the meal offering. We tried to flag someone down to change our orders before it was too late, but again, because of what appeared to be a staffing shortage, we couldn't find anyone in time to change our orders. It's unfortunate too that our server hadn't told us about the Sunday special. I wish this restaurant the best, as my British friend was very excited to find a taste from home here.

We ordered and they waiter messed up and ordered 2 of the wrong entrees and we were shorted a mac and cheese which took 20 minutes plus to get. The fish and chips were not the greatest, I would not order again. Actually I would not recommend. This is a tourist trap spot in Old Sac. I would stay away from.

Super cool British pub in Old Sac! The decor was neat and there was a small shop with items from the UK. The service was great and the food delicious! I had the cottage pie and the sauce was very tasty. I will recommend to friends and family!

Came here and was excited to try a British pub.Bacon wrapped dates: D+I will preface this by saying I'm not the biggest fan of dates, but it sounded interesting and ordered it anyways. The bacon was overcooked so it was tough and dry. The dates don't really pair well with bacon flavor in my opinion.Cottage pie: C+Visually stunning. It looks very appetizing so props for the presentation. Unfortunately, this dish was a bit underwhelming in terms of taste. The potatoes were fine but the beef filling lacked any strong flavors.I like the interior layout of the restaurant and the vibe, but I was disappointed with the food.

What a surprising find in Old Town Sac! As soon as you walk in you feel transported into an elegant, spacious English pub. Our server was very attentive and the food came quickly and was served hot. The food in general was very satisfying but was along the lines of most British pub style food. In general, their versions are great takes on the classics but not pushing any boundaries. My favorite bite was the Scotch egg with their homemade curry mayo. We also had their Pub Burger which had a yummy combo of flavors but tasted a bit too charred for my liking. My husband had the braised lamb which again was tasty but he wasn't crazy about the quinoa. The sticky toffee pudding rounded out the meal nicely! Also - their faux mojito was tart, sweet and very refreshing! If we are back in the area we would be very willing to have another meal here.

What a cool take on a British Pub in Old Sac. Love that this place is LGBTQ+ owned, and they really truly support the community. The food is all classic British fare and is really well done! Anything fried has the most delicious crunchy coating on it. Their bar menu is pretty extensive and also has some good NA options. Also, I'd check out the place if you'd like to host events; they have multiple areas you can rent for private gatherings (including a patio)!

The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and spacious. The food, unfortunately, didn't match up. I was so excited to see Poutine on the menu. I've been craving it since visiting Toronto. I don't expect Canadian-caliber Poutine in USA but this dish is barely passable on its own. The gravy was beige and way too peppery, they served it with XL steak-cut fries. I wouldn't get this again. The Guinness beef stew was also disappointing; the beef was dry, and the soup was lacking. I really hope they fix the menu as the ambiance is lovely!

Came to check this place out since we hadn't been here before. We were able to make a reservation at OpenTable and were seated promptly when we arrived. Our server was attentive and she gave us suggestions on their cocktails I definitely enjoyed their dirty martini. It was so good and made perfectly. We ordered a variety of appetizers, the Scotch Eggs, Fried Pickles and Bacon Wrapped dates. All of them were so flavorful and served hot! I would recommend all of them! We then ordered main entrees: Fish and Chips, Pub Burger, Steak Frites and Red Wine Lamb. Though it took a little bit to come out, it was well worth it! All of the entrees were made perfectly. Everyone enjoyed their dish. I would definitely recommend this place to Yelpers!
