BBQ & Burgers Smokehouse

Good Bbq and very nice staff members. I have ordered take out from this place many times but this was my first time dining in the restaurant. The vibe is like a cross between a sports bar because the have a large screen by the tables and karaoke because these is a stage as well. It's not a fancy spot but it seems very local and family owned and they make good food for decent prices. Tried the combo plate with tri tip and ribs and it was very well seasoned and didn't need a sauce but the sauce is also great if you want it. The Mac and cheese isn't southern but still solid for bbq place. The onion were crispy and light which is the way I like them. All in all been before and will be back again definitely check them out if you are in the mood for bbq.

I would give them zero stars if possible. The bbq was super salty and reeked of lighter fluid. My hands smelllike literal gas aftertouching a rib. Ordered potato salad and baked beans. What Igot was Kraft mac and cheese and canned pinto beans. Even the bacon burger was horrible. I'd never eat there againnot even forfree.

I love coming here whenever our meat-eating son is in town! We get the Familt Platter, which recently went up to $100, and we would love to see them bring an extra table for the beautiful wood platter of awesome smoked BBQed Robs, Brisket, and Chicken. Don't even get me started on how super delicious their smoked asparagus is! They also have Track 7 IPA on tap and served in a frosty bug or a bottle of wine for about $20. We absolutely love Wing Wednesdays, too. The Mango Habanero Xauce is so good when cooked to the perfect sticky smoked wings.Service is super!The new remodel is really great. I can't wait to see a band there or watch a great game that I wanna see on the giant TV screen.

Walked in on a Saturday was pretty mellow, I did not care for the super loud music but moved past it and focused on wanting a good meal. The staff was super friendly and efficient. I decided to go with the two meat option and paid extra for brisket and ribs.. Now let me tell you, you must use the sauce that is on the table otherwise is just plain. I was not pleased with their Mac and cheese, it tasted just like the Kraft from a box with added jalapeños. I feel like they should note that there are jalapeños in the Mac & cheese in case parents order for kids. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries which he really enjoyed. It was packed with meat and maybe a bit too much coleslaw but he really enjoyed it with their spicy sauce. He washed it down with an ice cold Modelo from tap which he also enjoyed. As a note, he also enjoyed the pickles that came with my order.

Not too sure how to rate this spot just because I wasn't completely blown away nor did I hate it. The ambiance is great with the large tv but, that's the only tv they have. There were guests in there that wanted to watch the soccer game, but what about the people that wanted to watch Thursday Night Football? The service wasn't very exceptional. It was a bit confusing whether you sit down and get your order taken or if you go up to the counter and order. The menus were on a table in front that said "do not touch" but again, confusing. The food was to par. I have had better bbq. Everything was unusually spicy. We ordered the 3 meat, 2 sides plate for $26 which seemed very cheap compared to other local spots. We ordered: tritip, chicken, hot links, onion rings, and Mac n cheese. After receiving our dish I was very disappointed that the Mac n cheese looked like Kraft and the chicken was very dry. I do want to go back to try their burgers or sandwiches but I'm afraid I won't be satisfied.

This review is for food only. I've never had good bbq in California but I felt like ribs so I decided to try this place on DoorDash. I ordered half rack of ribs, smoked wings and a corn bread. I don't eat fried stuff so I was happy their wings aren't fried and they were good, I ordered a side of buffalo sauce but I wish they had an option for side of all the sauces. I wanted to try side of mango habanero because I like my wings naked and dip in sauces. Ribs were tender but also a bit chewy not mushy just the way I like, and I added a corn bread for $1.25, and it was actually bigger than I expected for $1.25! I will definitely ordered food from here again. The best ribs I've had in California. Thank you!

Visited mid-day during the week and parked in the back. Staff was busy helping other customers so we waited a few minutes, and then sat ourselves in the back near.They were in the middle of remodeling so a whole street side room was under construction, and the wall to our wear was knocked down. My fiancé and I came here to see a Mexican Rock Band (Nove 7) - which by the way, that band is really good!!! This place is located right across from Sac City College. The event was being held outside of the restaurant, and although it was a little warm outside, they had the seats set up under umbrellas and a big fan blowing! The workers were very nice in accommodating us a seat when we arrived, it was packed! We ended up getting the Tri-Tip Salad, which came with walnuts, strawberries, mixed greens, feta cheese and your choice of dressing - I chose balsamic. The salad was okay, I'm not sure if it's because we were sitting outside, but the mixed greens were warm and wilted. My fiance got the 2 meats and 2 sides. He enjoyed the ribs and brisket! I had a piece of the brisket and I thought it was pretty tender! As for the sides, the onion rings were the best part about it. The Mac and cheese was watery and it didn't have much flavor. The dinner roll it came with was extremely dry and cold... paper dry! It would've been nice if it was warm and even maybe some butter on the side. We asked our server what kind of drinks they had as far as alcoholic beverages and she said she didn't know- but she was nice enough to take a picture on her phone of the fridge. Lol! This place carries Two Rivers Cider, so I gave that a try and my fiance had a Heineken. This place was nice to give it a try! We had a show and some food to munch on. Probably wouldn't come back though.

Came here for lunch had gotten mixed reviews about this place, but I'm a try it myself kinda guy. So I will say this not sure why the mixed reviews on this place. Came in about 1pm on a Monday place wasn't busy ordered the 3 meat plate brisket and dbl ribs with potato salad and onion rings. Better half got the 2 meat plate with brisket and tri tip beans and onion rings. Took our seat waited food came out pretty fast so that was a good thing because it was lunchtime. Then out of nowhere the place got busy. Glad we got a good table before the rush. The rub on the ribs was great had a hint of spice not to much but enough to let you know it was there brisket was juicy and good the sides were good but wasn't there for the side dishes. Service was great also. Will be going back here again.
