What a nice gift to the community. A lot of planning and work went in to putting this Christmas adventure together for the families that get tickets to drive thru and receive a special Christmas blessing. The fact that there is no charge is awesome. It's definitely worth the time.... Thank you, Bayside; Merry Christmas!

By the time I hear about the Christmas lights here at Bayside every year, it's too late to get tickets! This year I was on top of it and got a few tickets ahead of time and gave some to friends. They're free to reserve but will get booked within minutes! Each week of tickets is released at a specific time every week so there are multiple chances. We arrived right at our 6pm reservation time. The website explains to enter via bike lane right past the gas station. Google maps led us to the exact spot and you can see the long line of cars in the bike lane and the Christmas lights in the distance so it was easy to spot. The line appears long but it was moving pretty steadily and we got to the beginning of the lights in less than 10 min. Once you get past the entrance they will direct you into an aisle of the parking lot and then those lines take turns entering the drive thru, so after all that I think it was about 15-20 mins until we actually started which wasn't too bad. There are people coming around with concessions and lights/toys before you begin too.The actual lights themselves were really nice! Each section had a theme, such as candy land, Star Wars, etc. and you can tune in to a radio station so the sounds match what you're looking at. I'd say it took no more than 15 minutes to get through the whole thing but it was definitely worth it instead of driving around to one-off houses around town.

I loved this event. We went with some friends from our neighborhood and had about 5 cars in our group. It was so much fun. We absolutely loved it. We booked our reservations about a week before and were able to secure a 6:30 reservation for a Sunday night. The event is free and they put a lot of thought and work into making the event amazing. My kids loved it. We can't wait for next year's event. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Sacramento area.

On my birthday Tuesday evening, my boyfriend, daughter and I RSVP'D to see the complimentary drive-thru Christmas Lights and what a sight it was! My daughter was asleep despite our efforts to wake her ha ha, so we just had our own little date night! As we drove through and turned on the specified radio station, the lights began to synchronize with the music perfectly! My favorite was Sia's Candy Cane Lane! This year's theme is Car's Land, Mater included, I just love Larry the Cable Guy, anyone else!? I would highly recommend checking out these free lights, more spots were just opened up for tomorrows! We are going to make this a yearly tradition, it's great to seeing a church offering this to their community with the current epidemic going on in our world right now! Bless you all and have a Happy Holiday Season!

This is a free event with an advance reservation. This was our first time here, after driving by for years. When you first get into parking lot. You will be put into a line of cars and you will wait as for your lanes turn. There is from what we counted about 12 lanes. Tune your radio to 92.9 and enjoy the show while you wait your turn. The lights above you are flash and sing while you wait your turn in line of cars. Which kept the kids busy singing and dancing in your car. Within 15-20 mins we were on our way through the wonderland of lights. The ohhs and ahhhs you can here from the kids opened windows as they drive through the display just tells you how worth the wait it was. The light displays are bright and spread apart enough were people won't get bored. You drive through different themed areas that were great decorated lights. We especially enjoyed the cars themed area the best. Thank you Bayside for putting on a must go to Christmas light display. We are hooked and will back every year now.

You have to make reservations to attend the light show. You get free tickets, but they do ask for donations. The line to get in was pretty long. We had a 9pm reservation so I honestly didn't think it was going to be to packed. The line to get in went somewhat fast but then they had us all line up inside. They had people going car to car trying to sell water, popcorn and light up toys. We sat there for about 45 minutes to an hour before we got to go through the lights. Which only took 15 minutes. If I knew how long we would be sitting I wouldn't have came. I asked my kids if they would want to come back next year and the answer was NO! Even though it was FREE it wasn't worth our time and we won't go back.

Located off of HWY 65 (LINCOLN/MARYSVILLE) and the STANFORD RANCH RD exit, at the top of the hill is where you will find Bayside Church's Christmas Adventure.STEP 1: Get tickets online or text the number on the marquee to get your free ticket shown prior to entering..STEP 2: Tune your radio to 92.9FM in order for the music to sync to the lights.STEP 3: As you pull in, you will be guided by attendants to begin your journey through a magical Christmas lighting experience at Bayside Church. STEP 4: While waiting in line, there will be several attendants walking around who will offer a LIT GLOWSTICK, POPCORN, and/or WATER for purchase.Since Disneyland is currently closed due to COVID-19, this was a great opportunity for parents to drive their kids through a short, but amazing experience. BAYSIDE ALWAYS DOES A FANTASTIC JOB at thinking of creative activities year-round for the community. I especially loved that the music synced to the lights and also how a lot of the characters were singing along as well. Such a magical, local experience that you can enjoy for free, which gets you into the mood for Christmas! Can't wait to do it again soon!

Can I give this place 15 stars? This is coming from a bicylers perspective. YES, You can bike through there! No, it's not that cold. Not when you're having a super fun time. It's Christmas time, time for new adventurous and beginnings. We visited Bayside Lights on a very busy day in the Christmas season, the Saturday before Christmas 2020. The ride was at 6:30pm and location meet-up was at Raleys/Taco Bell in Rocklin on Sunset. By 7pm the whole group of lucky gang arrived. A group of us with bikes and spokes lit up, even Santa, came excited and ready to see Christmas lights in a unique and fun way.First we rode down Pebble Creek and Strand bobbing past the crowds of crowds while trying to see the wooden Disney art, tons of lights, all the while trying to dodge the stop and go of cars, and orange traffic cones. The crowds were extremely massive this year (and I've came here for at least 3 or 4 years now). After that fun ride that lasted for maybe 30 minutes, we rode a longer straight ride to Bayside. Now seeing Bayside lights this last year was extremely different from any time I've seen their Christmas lights display. First off, see lights EARLY in the Christmas season, and see it on a slow night. This line was like a Disney ride line x 2! I don't doubt they waited 2 hours for this. It may have been worth it, but when kids are in the car. No way! BUT they did so much stuff to this from the last time I've seen it. It was so much more than just lights. It was really like a fun ride with so much to see. But any way, we rode up, this group of us, they let us in. No biggie, no ticket needed, no waiting. I was so thrilled!!Side note, there were 2 annual Christmas lights bike rides locally on this day. One is for a combo of Bayside lights, and Pebble Creek/Strand. The other annual bike ride is the Fab 40s downtown. Both events are on Facebook, so keep an eye on those for updates and info if you are interested. This is a truly unique and fun experience to ride through Bayside Lights with a bike. I highly highly suggest it!!

Bayside is such a great place to check out Christmas lights, simply amazing. This is definitely a must visit if you're in the area or not in the area during the holidays. It's a nice drive-thru holiday lights experience, they have a laser light show as your waiting to drive through complete with screens with videos and they even have a special radio station that coincides with the screens and laser lights. I've been twice this holiday season and I just love it, it goes at a very slow pace so if you're driving trust me you can stop or slow to a crawl so that you can get some great pictures (just be careful lol). I love the fact that it's free however you do have to go on the website and reserve the time slot you would like to go and tickets do go fast so be quick and reserve them in advance. The first time I went I arrived at 9pm and the line was quite long to get inside and then my last time I went at 8:30pm and the wait wasn't as long and both times were during the weekend. I plan to do this every year during the holidays as I loved it and it can be a tradition. Love all of the interactive lights, music and the whole experience.
