Bangkok City Thai Cuisine

This is the best Thai restaurant in Rocklin/Roseville. Their service is amazing as well as the food. They are kid-friendly too :)Must try their homemade spicy sauce!

All I can say is WOW, the food at Bangkok City Thai Cuisine is simply Devine! We were in Rocklin for part of the day (Monday) from Chico and I was craving Thai food and begged my wife if we could eat Thai for lunch. I checked Yelp and found this restaurant with a 4.4 rating. As a foodie, I struck gold! Upon entering the establishment we found the ambiance and decor tasteful and pleasant. We arrived around two in the afternoon and there was only one other group of people dining but they left soon after we arrived so we had the restaurant to ourselves. Dan was our waiter, entertainer, comedian and is co-owner of the restaurant. His wife, Jang, is the master chef behind the curtain! She was very gracious and appreciative that we were enjoying her cooking. We ordered traditional dishes including Yum Talay-spicy - thai seafood salad with silver noodles and green salad. It had calamari, shrimp and large scallops. OMG! This was the best silver noodle salad I've ever had! Incredibly delicious! Then came the rest of the delectable entrees. Pad Thai with large shrimp, Pad Kee Mow with pork, Kow pad ka prao-basil frid rice and Pad broccoli. Everything was simply marvelous! My taste buds were dancing with joyousness! My wife Lori isn't a Thai food junky like I am, but she thought everything was delicious as well. Our special needs son, Timmy enjoyed the food as well. We got mild spicy because Timmy doesn't like spicy hot foods. All the dishes had a nice hint of heat, the flavors, devine. We had coconut ice cream on the house as it was my wife and my 8 th anniversary. It was deliciously rich with ribbon's of coconut. The prices are very reasonable as well as the portions. Five stars!It was a delight sharing some time with both owners. Good people! This will be our go to Thai restaurant when we visit the area again in the future!

Incredible customer service and ambiance. My mom and I have been coming here for a few years and they know us now and know where we like to sit. Such a nice family business and the food is incredible. So happy to have this place to enjoy and, from the interactions we see when we are here every time, we think others are too. The piano guy could be on tour with Elton John :-)

Great spot for lunch!Bangkok City Thai Cuisine has all the classic Thai dishes you're craving: Pad Thai, Curry, spring rolls, etc. I tried the Basil Fried Rice and loved it. It's light, savory, and was perfect with medium spice.The dishes are definitely sharing sizes, so they're perfect for sharing.Service is excellent and food came out very quickly. Highly recommend this spot for great Thai food!

I went with my GF on Friday for lunch. It was my first time here and I will be back again. The food is excellent, fresh and our server was great. The place is very clean and so are their bathrooms. They have music on the weekends, so I may have to get my hubby down to try this place out. I will be back again. I had the eggplant stir fry with Tofu at a level 2, it was just right. A little tangy. Saw the cook and gave her a Thumbs up and told them both how much we enjoyed their food.

Love coming here for lunch. Service is quick. Place is clean and food is phenomenal. I highly recommend

Searching for a good Thai restaurant while Christmas shopping and we were lucky to find Bangkok City! In a strip mall near Sierra college, it would be easy to miss.We arrived early, 5:45, and the restaurant was empty. We wondered if we had made a mistake. Nope, the food was fresh, tasty and the restaurant was full by 6:15pm. Once inside, the atmosphere was relaxed, warm and nicely decorated. The service was attentive. What a Gem! Well be back as has been said before.

I took my family here and we all loved it. The service was great!! Matthew was very kind and took great care of us. And the food was phenomenal. We will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others. Thank you!!!

OMG!!!been searching for a good thai place. There are ok Thai restaurants here and there, and since Thai Palace in East Sac closed, been searching for place. Years later, we found it!!!!!! The owners are fantastic, kind, and pleasant. Ohhhh yes this is our new home for GREAT THAI FOOD!!!

I have been to this place so many times over the years and I am finally leaving a review. This honestly is the best Thai food in the area. They weathered through the terrible time of covid and have come back strong. Everything I have had there over the years is superb and you will love it give it a chance and you will go back!
