We grabbed takeout from Bambu Garden this weekend. This was our first experience with this restaurant, and it was most positive. Our ordered was Black Pepper Beef, Shrimp with Lobster Sauce and White Rice. Everything was delicious and fortunately for us, the serving portions were very generous. The tender beef was sauteed in black pepper, yellow onion, bell pepper along with a pleasing sauce. Our Shrimp with Lobster Sauce included carrots, onion, water chestnuts and peas stir-fried in a wonderful sauce. I would order both again.Good value for your food dollar.

Yum! I pass this place multiple times and decided to give it a try! To start, if you use Apple Maps it will lead you in the middle of the plaza, just know it is right near safe way and to go left! Parking was a bit cramped, however easy to locate. I went on a Saturday around 5pm and they had a couple customers, pretty busy but still available tables out. They gave me a menu and the food choices were a bit expensive - possibly around $17-30 for a combo depending on what meat you choose. I believe it was about $20 to order shrimp.I ended up ordering the beef and broccoli combo. I had asked if I can order half fried rice and half chow mein, however this is not allowed. I got the chow mein and egg soup. The egg soup was so hot and delicious. Pretty flavorful and a good starting appetizer before my food was served. My combo plate came directly after. This food was great! I love when Chinese restaurants use a bit more five spice in their dishes, it makes the food more fragrant and that's exactly what this restaurant did! the chow mein was a bit bland and tasted of more jsut noodles but it is good for what it is. The egg roll was GREAT,came out hot and had a good amount of egg roll wrap and stuffing inside.I would definitely come here and try more!

This restaurant has a nice ambience, booth seating and friendly service although it can be a bit difficult to understand staff. If you are a vegetarian stay away from this place. All there noodle dishes co rain oyster sauce. Their soups have chicken powder that is used in their broth.Their fried rice dishes contain egg which is normal.Other than steamed rice not a lot on the menu since they don't have a dish without oyster sauce. They had something with white sauce but could t understand if that contained any meat, fish, eggs, or gelatin.Very pricey too. We just left.I found a place near Galleria called Pho Vegan which was perfect. No meat, fish, eggs or chicken broth my wife was happy.

If you're looking for a delicious Chinese restaurant that makes lunch or dinner this is the place. Their orange chicken is a must-try; the crunch and flavor are absolutely mouthwatering. Each bite is a perfect blend of sweet and savory that keeps you coming back for more. I also highly recommend the chicken fried rice--it's a fantastic go-to that pairs perfectly with any dish. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring you'll leave satisfied. The restaurant is also very clean and the staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help with your order or questions.

I was in Roseville and wanted a quick dinner but not fast food or a burger. I saw this Chinese restaurant and decided to see what they had besides the usual stuff. Bambu Garden is located in the Safeway shopping center around the corner of the building of Safeway. A friend had introduced me to tomato beef chow mein Hong Kong style. I saw this was offered on the menu here. I was here with one other friend and he ordered the Singapore curry noodles. Prices here seemed a little high, like $17.50 for the tomato beef and $16 for the curry noodles. I guess it's just the price of going out these days. The food arrives and it's all hot and looking good. After posing the food for pics, we dig in. The Curry noodles are spiced just right, not too much curry but enough so it's not bland. The tomato beef dish was sauced well and the flavor had just the right vinegar kick. The noodles were super crispy. All in all a good quick dinner and a little leftover to go. I'd eat here again if I was in the area. This food is way better than what I can get in Red Bluff, that's for sure.

If I were to rate any Chinese restaurant in Roseville against the best and most authentic in what prior to the decline of current San Francisco, best Roseville Asian restaurants would rate at best 3 1/2. But only Bambu, if located in S.F. Bay Area, would rate a four and half stars. But for Roseville, just slowly moving out of its years from being a fast food lane, Bambu Garden rates five stars for many factors including a warm, sophisticated, soft and artfully well lighted ambience, friendly service, generous portions, an authentically overseas integrity of Cantonese and Hakka influenced cuisine. Even the vintage origin of mu shu, mostly a San Francisco/Chinese homage to late 19th and early 20th century Chinese nod to its white American customers, is elevated to more Asian treatment of seasonings. Most Chinese restaurants in our region of Northern California look more like cafeterias with eye glaring flourescent ceiling lights which make plated foods look unappetizing yellow. Bambu restaurant may look like just another mini shopping mall cafe next to a Safeway store, but a few steps inside and I noticed a few decorative art and furnishings which must have had 4 digit price values. A beautifully color and texture coordinated with comfortable seating It is a place where dressing up would be as appropriate as casual attire. I deliberately ordered different unrelated single portion dishes which could have fed at least three to four, to explore flavor quality consistency. I first finished what is best eaten on the spot, and just tasted the other dishes which could be re-heated later at home. For duck lovers, the duck and noodle soup is a delicious, meaty bargain with fresh veggies, a well seasoned broth with thin noodles. If you prefer softer noodles, let them know as they can substitute other noodles. Most pork baos have cloyingly sweet gelatinous coated pork pieces and dry buns. The ones served to me were soft but still firm enough to hold the pork filling. Other dishes were not compromising to the usual American palate accustomed to extreme salt and sweet tastes and flavors. This is no American Chinese pandering restaurant as are others. I look forward to trying other items on the menu next time. Chinese restaurants which invest in creating an aesthetic pleasant and clean ambience are more likely to invest as much care in preparation of their foods like this Bambu restaurant.

Probably the worst Chinese food my family has ever had! We ordered the Salt and Pepper Pork, Combination Chow Mein and Tomato Beef. The Salt Pepper Pork was not crispy and soggy. The Chow Mein tasted like it was burned and the Tomato Beef was more of like a bland soup. The food used to be better. It appears to be under new ownership. We wanted to order from Prime Wok Express in Rocklin but they're close on Sunday's. I will never order from Bambi Garden again.
