Beautiful interior, clean, plenty of seating, great for family gatherings too. Kind and quick service, if you have any allergies and or concerns, let them know! We tried the egg drop soup, veggie soup, and green beans with side of steamed rice -- I did not enjoy the sweet sauce on the green beans as I was expecting something spicy sauce but I'll make sure to ask for another sauce on the side for example next time. They also offer lunch specials and I can't wait to be back to try their lunch menu.

I have been living in Elk Grove for 15 years now and I have been going to Bamboo Inn almost since I have moved there. With that said I have a nostalgic feel for Bamboo Inn, the food is stick to your ribs standard American Chinese faire. It is Fried Rice, Beef and broccoli, Chow Mein and Wonton soup. If you want what you were used to since you were a kid this is the place.With all the exotic Chinese places in Elk Grove this is the fast food of Chinese Foods, but still satisfies. I still like Bamboo and will continue to go and recommend you do as well.

This was Valentine's dinner and it was delicious (coming from a Chinese American)!! I wish I took some photos, but was way too hungry. We got chicken with broccoli, 2 honey walnut shrimps, beef chow fun, chicken chow mein, and a fried tofu dish! The shrimp was amazingly delicious and the beef chow fun, addicting. The chicken was so soft and flavorful, paired nicely with perfectly steamed broccoli. I'm not a tofu fan, but I even had some of the tofu and did not dislike it. I forgot to pick up some chow mein, but I have no doubt it was delicious. We got take out and it was done at a good time and was a flat $100. For all the yummy food, we loved it!

Hong Kong Style/Pan Fried Chow Mein is good. Don't like that the menu says $0.50 to get HK style, but they charge $1.00. Update the menu or your POS.

I have driven by multiple times and decided to go. As I walked in I almost turned around. No one was in the place, it is 5 pm. A couple was waiting for their order and said the food was good. While eating my meal many customers came for pickup.The person at the counter did not acknowledge me, I had to get her attention to inform her I was eating in.I sat at a table and she said people like the spare ribs, I could not get much more info about the menu so I ordered from it.Chicken with Snow PeaFresh snow peas, average portion of chicken. Brown sauce very good.AmbianceThe restaurant was extremely clean, nice tables and chairs with clean tablecloths. It was pristine.ServiceOk was thanked as I walked out.I would come back again.

Bamboo Inn has been in business at least a decade that I know of. Located at the corner of Laguna Blvd. and Bruceville Rd. I drove by many times but haven't tried it until recently. I usually order 10-15 min in advance for pick up. I like their chicken wings, salt & pepper pork chop, chow mein, and Singapore rice noodles (pictured). The lunch special is a good deal. You get a main and 2 sides for $13. I've dined in one time with family and it was nice and quiet. Service is quick! It's usually not too busy when I go during lunch hours.

I had dinner here recently when Corina was away. It was a cool late Spring evening and I had the Wor Wonton soup. It was very good, but a little smaller than my regular place in my neighborhood and it could have a little more flavor. As we are moving to this area I wanted to check this place out. I will return as other dishes I saw them serving looked pretty good.

I used to eat in this restaurant since 2004, but i remembered back then when one waitress this was happened it 2006, She automatucally add Tips on my card,and when I called them they were rude like madness for no reason. I gave tip for $20 this was in 2006. So, I never came back in this rest ever.

My go to place for some Chinese food. They're friendly and the price is right. Usually do a to go/ pick up order. Their lunch plate is a good value.
