Balance Coffee Shop

I came here for my first time today, and was very impressed. Here are some of the things I like. + 1 star: everything is vegan!+ 1 star: the chocolate chip banana bread was delicious!+1 star: the staff are super friendly+1 star: they support local artists+1 star: all the drinks are made with oat milkIf you like unique drinks like lavender lattes or beet lattes, you MUST come here. They had 4 different pastries when I went. All are vegan. At least one was also gluten free. And it's right next door to a record store, so you can make it a whole outing. I didn't notice any outdoor seating but the inside was very inviting. I'll share some menu pics.

I don't know how they did it but this was the most flavorful coffee and it wasn't overly sweet. It's so hard to find this combo and it's the stuff my dreams are made of. Service was really quick and they were knowledgeable about the drinks. The space is where Drip was previously, small and cozy.

4.5! A cozy coffee shop with a diverse and elevated menu. I ordered the Golden Bear and really enjoyed it; had a hard time choosing because they all sounded so wonderful. Also noting they do have seasonal drinks available, but also on specific days of the week (I came in on a Monday, but they said they only do one of their monthly drinks only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Their hours are a little shorter than what I typically see (they close at 2 p.m.), so glad I was able to fit this in during my lunch break. There are lots of other food places and shops on this block too. Barista was very kind. Would come back!

Someone gave me a gift card over a year ago to the coffee truck and I was never able to align their hours with my availability to stop by. When I walked by this new brick and mortar the other week I was so excited to actually get to try it. I made it a point to stop by on my Saturday morning walk. The space is small but perfect and has a lot to offer. I loved the calming and peaceful ambiance as well as the unique drink choices. The barista was helpful in answering questions and explaining the purpose behind the ingredients. We described the drinks as tasting deliciously earthy!

Super cute and much needed coffee shop. The syrups are all made from scratch and so are the pastries. The owner is super nice and truly cares about the experience.

First off the lady who made my drink was sooo sweet!! I tried the Cali matcha and triple chocolate brownie both were the perfect amount of sweetness and very tasty! They also had a bunch of cute mugs and soaps for sale.

Very cute shop. Owner made a delicious ceremonial grade iced matcha latte and her homemade vegan orange loaf was delicious! Loved the intention and clean ingredients used.

Got the 24th street latte (tumeric latte) and I believe the citrus/orange squares? Everything tasted delightful, very calming :)

The coffee is just as amazing as the warm friendly face of the owner taking your order. A perfectly curated vibe. Small and quaint. The award winning "Perfect Date" latte is a must try! All drinks are made with oat milk which is a major plus for all those who prefer a non-dairy alternative!

Great little coffee shop! The baristas were really friendly and welcoming. My latte was great, similar price to surrounding coffee shops in midtown. Will definitely go again!
