This is one of my very favorite places to go!!! The pastries are amazing and the food is really good! It's all vegetarian. Definitely not lacking in flavor! The service is great and super helpful. It's a mom and Pop style place. Definitely worth checking out! You'll be so happy that you did. I try to go here every chance I get.

I visited this establishment on Labor Day because the other fav place I have (almost next door) was closed Their taste is very mediocre and very South Indian. We had: Dahi puri: 2/5 (tasteless) Pani puri: 2/5 (the accompanying green chutney was smelly and the water was too sour!) Vegetable sandwich: 3/5 Papri chaat: 2/5 (totally tasteless) Samosa chaat: 3/5 Mango lassi: 2/5 The service was slow and everything came out in turns. Hence, none of is could enjoy eating together. Total service took about 35 mins. Place is small and cramped inside. Girls at the counter are sweet and friendly. So then in the night.... I got an upset stomach! Probably due to that foul smelling green chutney. I do not recommend.

Since the new ownership, this place has quickly become one of my top choices for Indian food. Every dish is delicious and bursting with flavor. The newly introduced Thali is a standout--both incredibly tasty and great value. While the space is small and often crowded, and the ambiance is not the most refined, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Highly recommend!

8/14/2022: Skulking Southern Indian Cuisine-Bakery Bites! Whoa! A big line waiting!!!! Anyway, it's time eating a veggie dinner; avoiding inhaling meat of any kind for Sunday . . . Trying to lose weight, i.e., dropping forty-five pounds like a hot, baked potato! What did I choose inhaling for dinner? Welp~It was a difficult decision, since every dish the customers dining in Bakery Bites appeared absolutely delectably delicious:I chose the following . . . Vegetable Biryani, vegetable, paper roast Dosa, and mango lassi. Hopefully, eating only vegetable dishes will be highly instrumental, praying dropping all the excess weight gain!

Poor service, they focus on phone customers only, unless you have a catering order expect things to be slow. Always call never go in person, they have too much customers - we received Togo orders missing items last time.

Bakery Bites in Folsom offers a delightful array of Indian snacks that are sure to satisfy your cravings. Their labbipet paneer biryani is a standout, featuring tender paneer pieces infused with aromatic spices, creating a harmonious blend of flavors. The vegetable puff is another must-try; its flaky, buttery pastry encases a savory mix of spiced vegetables, reminiscent of classic Indian bakery treats. On weekends, the menu expands to include bonda and pungulu--crispy, deep-fried delicacies that are perfect for a hearty snack. The bonda offers a spiced potato filling encased in a golden crust, while the pungulu provides a delightful crunch with each bite. With such a diverse selection, Bakery Bites ensures a satisfying experience for all lovers of authentic Indian cuisine.

When it's a real deal authentic dosa, or idli you're jonesing for, you can't go wrong with this place. I'm actually late to review them. We've taken many dinners out from here and always enjoyed the food. There are seemingly always Indian families here- so you know it's good- and those tech Indians bring their non Indian friends all the time too. The Bollywood music is always newer than my iTunes playlist. And the service is friendly and polite. I do enjoy this place.
