Baboy Boys

These guys are amazing. My parents were paying for catering for our wedding and wanted to make sure lechon x 2 was a part of our menu. My husband and I didn't want a formal sit down menu, we wanted a casual buffet style wedding.We found Baboy boys on the knot and decided to seek them out for a taste test. We brought our kids along and loved their beef braised in red wine, pancit, lechon, almond and beans, which was pretty much what we had served on our wedding. Our wedding site was in Kelseyville where they were able to prep and cook onsite with their food truck. They travelled about 2 hours to the location and reassured us they have their own generator if needed. With our ranch, casual style wedding, they were our kind of guys to get the job done. You won't make a mistake hiring these guys, they both worked in French Laundry so they are well trained chefs. Most importantly they both have great work ethic and integrity. We were so fortunate that we found them, we had to reschedule our wedding a week before back in May due to Covid and they accommodated our new wedding date even if it was Jodi and his wife's anniversary. We also had a fire that they helped put out to neither the guests or our knowledge until after the fact when our wedding coordinator let us know. Thank you Baboy Boys. You're both amazing!!! As a Filipino, I'm quite disappointed. I ordered chicken skewers, garlic rice & spring rolls.Positive:-chicken was okayNegatives:-Undercooked spring roll, and it should've been served with a few lumpias instead.-small chicken skewers & lacked flavor-rice was NOT garlic rice. It just two scoops of rice with a small amount of garlic sprinkled on top.We could do better than this guys. I love supporting my people but that was disappointing.I look forward to seeing better quality in the future

The best Lechon I had in the Sac area!!! This plate came with everything that I was craving...crispy skin and flavorful lechon, lumpia, sunny side up egg, and garlic rice. Definitely ordering from this food truck again in the very near future.

We had a craving for some Filipino food. Tonight we actually used a delivery service to take advantage of of their offering. We haven't been to the restaurant, yet we found the menu inviting. We enjoyed the dishes we ordered. I look forward to visiting this restaurant in the near future.

Had the Lechon Tacos. You get three of them for $13.00. Very flavorful and the skin was nice and crispy. You have to be a Lechon lover to appreciate this taco because that pretty much all there is in it. A little but of onions and tomatoes and the rest is all lechon. You get a very good amount of meat for the price. I thought it was a better deal than the Lechon Plate for $25 if you are really just interested in lechon. The menu felt pretty limited. i wish there were more options. But i was pretty happy with what i bought. The skin on the lechon was crispy even though i bought it "to go" and drove about 10 minutes to get home.

been wanting to try this for awhile now and finally got the chance at sactown's finest market. for a plate that's ~$23 at a market they actually give you a lot of portions. I really like the added fried crispy onions on top however, as a kapampangan myself where sisig is originated from this is adobo lol. it has really good flavor no doubt, there was pork ears though which is usually the part used in sisig but flavor wise this isn't sisig. This was across the lumpia truck and in my opinion their sisig plate tastes closer to sisig than this plate. Also, not sure what was used in the lumpia, but I wasn't really a fan of it. I think if you've never had filipino food though, this wouldn't be a terrible choice.

I love that there is an increase prevalence for Filipino food options. I got to try this place through Door Dash. I got the Sisig plate that thought it was good. I did find the garlic rice to be my favorite part. I wish the pork used for the Sisig was cut in smaller pieces and overall my entire plate was oily, but maybe that is to be expected. It was definitely comfort food, and I can't wait to try more.

I heard great things about Baboy Boys on Yelp and from friends and was so excited to try them when I saw them at Sacramento Pride. I ended up ordering the Lechon Plate ($23) and Longpia ($12) and after sampling their jerky I ended up adding a bag to my order ($15).The food didn't take too long and the Baboy Boy team were working hard in the truck.The Lechon plate was a generous portion, the garlic rice was great, the spring roll was crunchy and flavorful and the Lechon was delicious, crunchy outside and flavorful inside, but not overly fatty. The vinegar house sauce also balanced the flavors really well.The Longpia came out hot and crunchy and were flavorful.I'm excited to try more from them in the future.

Got a sisig plate and it was full of flavor. The lumpia was very crisp and savory as well as the meat portion. Rice was soft and blended well with the meal.

The lumpia's are amazing. I really enjoy them. Great portions for the price. I just had them on Saturday and the quality is always there. Love them.
