Azteca Street Tacos

I ordered ahead of time, and designated my pick up time to be 5:15. I get an email at 4:30 saying my food is ready to be picked up.I then have to leave where I'm at to head over, when I get there, they tell me they have to remake it because it was cold. Meh, not worth the hassle.

Got dinner on a hot evening at our neighborhood food truck event tonight. Have to come to this vendor's defense. Prices are about the same as other Mexican food trucks. Three street tacos fTacos are the standard street taco size. Street tacos are always made with the small corn tortillas. We tried their steak, chicken, & spicy pork street tacos. All street tacos are filled with the meat choice, onions, cilantro, & salsa. Each taco was filled with a good amount of meat. Typical street taco-style. All were good. Will have to say their spicy pork was our favorite. Pork was nicely marinated & was flavorful. The chicken came in second. Chicken was nicely grilled. The steak meat is ranked third. Thought it needed more flavor. Would love to give this vendor a 3-1/2 star but the rating system doesn't allow half stars. Food is average good. Family that operates truck are nice.

They barely give you any meat, and the chicken is small and low quality. This is despite charging 10 dollars for 4 tacos. The inside of the truck also looked pretty dirty as well.Oh, and they don't even have bags (lol). I would go elsewhere.

WORST FOOD TRUCK I'VE EVER HAD. They advertise their quesadilla as "lettuce sour cream, cheese (of course), onion and cilantro with salsa." All I got was slop. No onion, no cilantro, a smidge of sour cream........10$ for a less than Taco Bell grade quesadilla. I was horrified. Never ever EVER eat here, ever.

Ordered the crane asada quesadilla from their food truck on Capitol. Brought it back to work only to realize it barely has meat, no cheese, its drenched in salsa, and maybe has a speak of sour cream. Over priced and overall waste of money. It comes with lettuce but I opted out.

I wasn't super blown away by their steak burrito when I first ate it but it tasted a lot better when I was hungry. Take that as you will. I think they could have put more sour cream in their burrito

I booked this truck a month in advance to a community event in Sacramento. I spoke with the owner multiple times to confirm his arrival. The day before the event he texted and said he would not be able to make it until 11:30 due to one of his truck being in an accident. Later on that night around 11:45pm he sent another text saying he would not be able to make it. Funny thing is we saw his truck coming from the Rosemont area. I don't suggest calling them for a vendor. Very unprofessional.

The food was not good at all. The Spanish rice tasted like Minute Maid rice. I've had better canned refried beans than their beans. They barely put any chicken in my burrito. They are stingy with all of their ingredients. No flavor whatsoever. On top of the disgusting food, the service was horrible. They were super rude and had a bad attitude.

In the past I had a bad experience with this food truck. Today I went to try the Asada fries and they gave a good portion. All it was missing was some vegetables.

So this taco truck showed up at UC Davis, right on time for lunch. I was super excited to try out their food considering Davis isn't the place to find Mexican food (not by the masses at least), and certainly not at such a convenient place - a food truck right on campus!I was so excited, I even shared it around, but jeez .. these "tacos" .. the food. No.I got 4 tacos al pastor, which, when done right, are absolutely superb. They're tacos of super small bits of pork MARINATED in a special sauce with pineapple bits. These tacos on the other hand were plain pork with a chili sauce on top. Just PLAIN PORK, for $10!! The lady cooking was incredibly nice and so was her daughter, but come on now. There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to back up your prices with quality. Not at UC Davis where you can find Chicken over Rice at Shah's Halal, or a Burger or Chinese food from one of the other food trucks. The quality, simply put, is unacceptable. I do not recommend this place, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Don't waste your money here. Go to shahs!
