I'm a wedding photographer and I shot a wedding there on October 19, 2018. What an AWESOME venue and staff! I shoot at a lot of different places and Auburn Valley Golf Club is as good as any! Andrea Slusher (events, sales and marketing person) was such a team player and helpful to make sure the timeline was kept and things were moving along in a timely fashion. She made my job easier just by being there and on top of things. The rest of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly as well!I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anybody having a wedding or party. Great food too!

Walked into the golf shop to pay not wearing a mask. I asked other patrons ahead of time and they said you didn't need one. Once I entered an older employee (NOT WEARING A MASK) starting yelling at me to put a mask on! I'm told his name is Larry but I'm not sure.During our argument he snatched my credit card out of my had and continued to yell at me! Even after I agreed and put a mask on he threw my credit card at me and stormed off (STILL NOT WEARING A MASK!) I will NEVER golf here again! The young man helping me was great. The bartender was great.But because of this man, I'll never go here again and tell anyone that asks me why!

My golf pals and I recently started playing here about a month ago. It's a beautiful course and we have really enjoyed golfing here. The greens are very fast and we are definitely improving on our long game. All of the employees we have interacted with our friendly and great. Jason the head pro answered all of our questions and he is good guy.We've really enjoyed the food at the restaurant. Everything is fresh and they have a nice menus and the prices are consistent with local restaurants in our area. I'm really glad to be member at this club and look forward to playing more golf.

Worst golf experience ever. We made a reservation several days ahead of time, giving our name, phone number and email address. When we showed up for our tee time , the guy working the check-in told us they had no record of our reservation. Instead of admitting their error and fixing the issue, Auburn Valley Gold Club made a bad situation worse by exhibiting abhorrent behavior. Their staff was rude and the attitude displayed was absolutely unbelievable. We drove an hour to get there and didn't get to play- it was a waste of our gas and time. Absolutely repugnant customer service, avoid this place!

Do not order mexican food from this place when you are getting married here! The Mexican food was absolutely terrible. Make sure u bring your contract on the day of the wedding so the venue cannot stiff you out of items you purchased that they say you didn't! Do not recommend this venue!! The wedding coordinator was not awesome.

We were so excited that everything worked out and the venue was able to be open during this time. Kelly the coordinator worked with us for my daughter's wedding here and she and her staff kept one step ahead of us during the entire day and evening. We had a purely blessed day and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous between the ceremony site and reception site!

If I could rate this zero stars I would. Our wedding was Sept. 26, 2020. It is very unfortunate that they have Kelly Snyder working as a wedding coordinator. She was the most unprofessional, rude, and unaccommodating woman to work with. She is the sweetest woman when she gets you to sign a contract. She promises things she cannot and does not deliver. She came to the bride multiple times to tell her problems rather than finding a solution or fixing the minor issue herself. When booked she said that all issues would be taken care of by her with her coordinating service.Here is just a few of things we had to deal with. 1. Took multiple reaching outs to schedule food tasting 2. Very rude at food tasting repeated said "this is how I do it" did not consider our requests 3. Picked the food herself even those bride stated she was allergic to squash. Still served squash because "that is what guests will like" 4. Would not let us meet again until rehearsal to confirm all details 5. Kicked out guests an hour early from rehearsal and was very rude about requesting a run through again 6. Did not arrive to the venue until 12:30 pm and nothing was prepared 7. Did not block off bridal suites as stated in first meeting and day of in the morning 8. Told bride coordinating services included room block, foral, DJ, photography but later did not or coordinate ANYTHING bride found out 3 weeks prior floral was not booked. Bride booked all vendors. 9. Multiple times we were told we could bring decor and her staff would put it up 10. She refused to decorate day of 11. Brides mother and groomsmen were decorating and assembling decor 12. Took pumpkins decor without asking 13. Originally stated food was $55 per head and later charged $65 per head 14. Repeatedly said they don't normally do food tasting due to the cost and effort involved, although food tasting was included in our contract we signed 15. Kelly did not include the extra hour and tried to charge the night before when on the contract it stated the extra hour. 16. Short chairs at rehearsal. 31 were provided when we RSVPed for 35. 17. Short chairs at ceremony even after requested at food tasting and the night before at rehearsal. 18. Short chairs at reception and did not provide extra seating to accommodate social distancing. 19. Ran out of mashed potatoes 20. Sprinklers went off 2x on our guests and tables 21. Rude to guest who fell and spilt drinks on table refused to change the table linens prior to the meal starting 22. Constantly forcing photography to end early to get food served 23. Did not serve champagne toasts as stated on contract 24. Refused to allow us to use cleaning supplies but forced family to clean locker rooms 25. Passed out glow sticks and tried to force an early out of reception an hour early 26. Accused bridesmaid of stealing Pro Shop pictures. Paula her colleague found them for her in the locker room. 27. Grass for photos was soaking wet. 28. Very rude to brides mother/family and grooms family 29. Told bride and groom before contract was signed that sparkler send off was approved but at food tasting said it wasn't allowed 30. Told bride and groom as food tasting she could only accommodate 100 guests when we told her our count was about 120 when signing contract. We are so thankful we have such a loving family that came together to make this day perfect for us. WE WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS VENUE ESPECIALLY KELLY SNYDER. She was the worst wedding coordinator ever!

Love this course! Great hospitality and course layout is super engaging! Surrounded by tranquil terrain and common wildlife makes for a relaxing backdrop for an amazing day no matter what your score! God's golf course...No doubt

Played here for the second time today....gonna be the last. Both times the pace of play was glacier like. Today the first three holes took an hour. Arrived at the 4th tee to find three groups on the hole. Way too many twosomes and very slow players. Course was in good shape and a nice setting. But unless you have 6 hours to kill I'd look elsewhere.

The golf course has been closed since July 2021 due to bankruptcy. New owners say they will be reopening the course but there is no info available when that will occur. Too bad, I always liked this course. I hope it opens soon and back to good conditions.
