Asian Pearl is excellent. We knew by the mid to poor reviews that the food here was going to be good! (Dim sum restaurants are notorious for their questionable service but that aura of confusion makes for a more genuine experience, lol).No wait on a Saturday lunch for a party of 5, so we were promptly seated after calling in to check.The roast pork is excellent--especially for a dim sum restaurant. It tasted decadent and rich without being sickly overpowering. There was a healthy balance of fat to meat and the top was crunchy! I couldn't help but continue reaching back for it every couple table go arounds. It tasted fresh and not stale, which was rather unexpected due to the nature of dim sum sometimes. The portion was healthy and satisfyingly shareable.Good amount of meat on the pork spareribs which is my partners favorite.Beef rice roll left room to be desired.Chicken feet were tasty! Good balance of sweet and savouriness and cooked to perfection!Ambiance is like having lunch with your boisterous asian family like any other dim sum restaurant. The space itself is very spacious and can accommodate for weddings. Everything was clean and bright! This is a wonderful place to take relatives for lunch.

It was once our favorite restaurant, but the overall experience has degraded over these years.The price is much higher now, some more than doubled, but the quality dropped to a level that is way below the previous perception. In particular, the simmered black bass doubled in price, but the quality dropped so badly, I can do way better myself.It was a mistake to go this time. Not worthy. There are much better choices.

I completely agree with the person who said, "DO NOT EAT HERE."The food quality is bad, and the service is horrible.Yesterday (New Year's Eve), my family and I came here for dim sum, and we had to deal with a rude waitress. She was an older lady with short hair and spoke to us in Vietnamese with a northern accent.The dim sum came out very slowly, and there wasn't much variety. We asked for the fried shrimp balls, but after waiting 20-30 minutes, we gave up. The waitress told us we would be charged if we didn't stay and wait another 10-15 minutes. We decided to be patient and waited, but after another 15 minutes, no food came.When we asked again, the waitress had a bad attitude and told us to wait another 5-10 minutes. We decided not to argue with such an unprofessional person, but we will never come back here.

I haven't been to Asian Pearl for dim sum before--I usually come here for weddings or events. My family and I decided to stop by for dim sum, and the service was quick with a wide variety of dishes. Everything we tried was great, but I especially enjoyed the egg tart and roasted duck. I'll definitely be back!

We are not strangers to dim sum, so we decided to try this place. It was so cold and windy outside, and they sat us by the door which froze us. That was very unpleasant. But this place was slammin'. They food never stops coming around. The workers are always busy. It is hard to understand what they are offering you to eat, but I guess that is how you try things. We have been to other dim sum places, and this one seemed a little more expensive than our normal place, and they didn't seem to have as much, unless those carts just didn't make it to us. What we did get, we enjoyed. It was a little far away from home to travel to, but if we go to that area, we would go there again.

Came here on a Wednesday night. I hadn't been here in like 10 years. Prices are pretty decent considering serving sizes (which are pretty decent). Apparently they have really good roasted squab here, which my grandparents like, but I personally didn't try it. The roast duck was good. Green beans with xo sauce and roast pork, chow mein had good wok hay. Overall was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is just ok- the restaurant is a little run down. And it was like 79° in there. Service is good though. They even offered to switch out plates on a normal meal. No soup or dessert included if ordering for the normal menu.The surrounding area is a bit sketchy. Def don't leave anything in your car. They have parking lot security which is good.

The restaurant is huge with a lot of seating. The Dim sum was somewhat decent. Some are better than others like the roast duck and siu mai. I definitely had higher quality dim sum, but this does the job in hitting that craving I had. The pork spare ribs you could skip, nothing special about that one. Xao long bao is your typical XLB; doesn't really stand out as well. Chicken feet was somewhat decent, nice soy sauce flavor.I would highly recommend the roast duck here. It was by far the best dish I got here and it was super tender and flavorful. Service is your typical dim sum service; you would have to flag down a waiter/waitress. Good place to get dim sum if you're nearby Elk Grove.

This restaurant is huge. Great for a wedding reception or a big event as they have 2 huge flat screen TVs and a kareoke machine. What I love about this place is that they push carts around with dim sum so you can see and pick what you want. That's rare these days as most give you a menu and you mark what you want. The service was fine. No complaints. The food was good and tasty. There was about 8-10 of us and everyone liked the food. I would come back here again. Highly recommend for authentic Chinese dim sum.

This Chinese dim sum restaurant is a solid choice! I've enjoyed both their dinner and dim sum offerings, and it definitely hits the spot every time. The variety and flavors are great, though not quite perfect. Still, it's a go-to spot for a satisfying meal!
