Went here for lunch today. Not sure where all the negative reviews came from because this place is great! The dishes are very tasty, there is a huge menu, the place is bright and cheery, the servers are attentive, the portions are generous, and the prices are modest. It's a keeper.

Pretty good Chinese food but nothing that knocks your socks off. I heard it used to be way better a while back. Broccoli Beef is good and simple. Hard to screw that up so a decent go to for nights you don't want to cook. Had some decent tofu dishes as well. Disappointed when I ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp. They threw in fried shrimp (???). I have never had fried shrimp in any Kung Pao recipe. It was like they tried to Americanize the fish to a General Tsao standard. The breading was also not the type to stands up to the sauce so it had a soggy, spongey texture. I ended up scraping it off the shrimp. The veggie combo and sauce flavor of the dish was actually great so I will order again and ask to have non breaded shrimp next time. Not a reason to stay away and hopefully I can just customize next time. Soup portions are huge! You cannot go wrong there.

I went in today to get some soup for my cold. MAY 2 2024. See receipt.I ordered take out and got a large wonton soup. It had wontons and shredded lettuce and carrots. The broth was okay but i added some hot mustard for more flavor. Out the door just under 16 bucks.It was not crowded like it used to be..possible new ownership and all the prices went up. I have included the new menu with the new prices. Unfortunately i will only get soup from here. You can't mess up soup!I hope they improve the quality of their food because it used to be fantastic for years!

We had the mandarin dinner and shared it with three people two dinners and we still had leftovers. They were great, the service friendly and I thought that everything tasted very fresh. The entrees aren't very spicy so if you might want something with extra spice, you might have to request it. I would return.

I've eaten here approximately 15 times.My go to is the KungPao triple delight which is shrimp. Chicken snd beef Kung pao.The ambience is OK, food is good and service is good.This is a local restaurant serving local peeps for the most part so don't expect a five star meal.Prices are reasonable and food quality is consistently good.I keep returning when I don't feel like cooking and washing dishes at home and want some good Chinese food.The fried prawns are also my go to!

I can't recommend Asian Garden at this time so if you really like flavorful Chinese Food, then avoid this restaurant. This is my first return visit since before COVID and I won't be back unless they get a new chef. The restaurant was busy at lunch with Seniors. I wonder if it's the "lost tastebud" segment? I thought, wow, it's busy, maybe the food has improved. Nope, no ...not at all.My Asian Garden lunch special was literally tasteless. I ate the salad and the egg roll...then I started in on the main dish...ack! I thought, maybe it's me so asked my husband to try my dish. ACK! He had ordered the Eggplant special which was (in his words) "terrible"..."worst of the worst".The service was okay. Nothing to write about. I guess it means I go back to the restaurant that has lousy ambience but really good food in the next town over. You know the one I mean, wink wink.

what used to be the best Chinese restaurant in town is now less than mediocre. Bland food and high prices don't go together in my book. A few weeks ago I chaulked it up to a new cook in training, but today was even worse. Good bye Asian Gardens, it was fun while it lasted.
