I love this place. It's hard as a momma of a special needs child to find a place she can trust with her child. This place has been a safe haven. Always friendly updating me on good and bad behavior how they corrected it sometimes it's other kids . Thanks for being a good home for Alina.

I'll list the PROS and CONS below. This is a nonprofit school that is great with children. My sister had her children go there 8 years ago. Now both my children go there and I'm very happy. So are they . They love their teachers Katherine, Valorie and Laura. Miss Kim and Roberta are also very kind and caring.PRO -Facility: clean and very secure. -Location: In the pocket/greenhaven. Parking lot is huge since it shares with the church. Enclosed but within walking distance of bus stops, grocery stores and restaurants.-Security: 2 separate play area that are fenced in. There's keypad lock entry, multiple security cameras inside and outside. Teachers have walkie talkies, there's a front desk and the director's office is near the entrance. Staff is routinely checked on for support. Multiple secure exits for emergencies.-Food: nutritious meals and snacks are prepared in the kitchen. Children sometimes help prepare the foods like cutting cookies. Monthly menu printed out for parents. My daughter never liked salads before, but now she enjoys them.-Teachers and staff: All teachers are certified. They are friendly and extremely adaptable. They are able to work with my daughter's therapist easily. Staff also very friendly and helpful.-Classrooms: large rooms with multiple activity and play areas. Every child has individual storage cubbies and sleeping nap mats.-Bathrooms: Every classroom has 2 bathrooms with children sinks and children toilets. Children height Soap dispensers and paper towel dispensers encourage them to wash hands after using the bathroom. Teachers are able to monitor children using the bathroom without ever having to leave the classroom and activities are not interrupted because 1 child has to use the bathroom.-Education: structured setting with encouragement of Independence and creativity. Also teaches about God and the Bible. They have weekly education plans that are catered to the children. I love how excited my children are bringing home projects or talking about school. From pet insects to discovering oceans and forests, there's always something new each day.-Playground: 2 separately fenced play areas. 1 has 2 large playsets and other one has 1 miniature playset. They are in the process of building another large playset area.-Technology: computerized check-in. They use remind app to communicate between teachers and parents. Credit card tuition payment computer station. But for those who are not tech savvy, they also have paper check in, paper calenders/activity/project/meal updates. They also accept checks and have payment drop boxes.-Price: very affordable being a nonprofit. Cooked meals included with tuition. Church also helps with scholarships and other fundraisers. Sibling discount. Church member discount if you choose to become a member. School also does fundraisers too. Accepts child action. I've checked other schools/daycare like Montessori, Merryhill, kinder Care, forever Friends, etc. unlike some of the other daycare/schools, there's no material fees, no meal fees, no uniform costs, no ridiculous high priced application fees, etc. Overall, this is the best bang for your buck without any sacrifice on quality.CONAge limit: They only take children 2 and up. I had to wait til my daughter turned 2 before I could take her here. I wish one day they will become licensed to take infants so parents can have their little ones enjoy the benefits from such a great school.

My daughter has been going to this school for quite some time now and I have nothing but good things to say. Before signing up I did a full review of the surrounding preschools. When I met with mrs Roberta she set up a day for us to do a trial day where we stayed for a couple hours to feel the school out and see how my daughter responded. She loved it from the beginning! After looking for so long we were relieved to finally find the perfect school! Now that my daughter has been there we have become very close with the staff. Especially ms McKay and ms Amelia. My daughter has become so close to ms Amelia. She knows all her little quirks, knows just how she likes her face caressed to fall asleep at nap time, how she needs help wiping as she is still learning, now that she is fully potty trained thanks to the hard work we've put in at home as well as my teachers helping and working with her. They are a state funded school so lunches and all snacks are healthy and delicious. My daughter has learned so much and has grown into such a perfect little young lady. She has become stronger in all subjects. Everyday that I pick her up I get a summary of her day things they worked on struggles she may have had and positive experiences as well. At the end of the day the teachers are cleaning sanitizing and just as ready to go home as we are from all the hard work they put in for the day. I am so happy with angels nest and feel confident that we chose the perfect school for our daughter. Yes there has been the occasional illness but if it wasn't horrible they catered to my daughter and comforted her for the day while I was at work. I want to especially thank all the teachers for taking such great care of my baby. Especially ms Amelia who has taken her under her wing. They have a special relationship and I feel so blessed to have these woman as apart of our family. Go angels nest!

We absolutely love Angels Nest! My daughter has been with Angels Nest for two years now and there's no other place I would want to take her. Ive moved out of their area since then, but still continue to drive the extra 30 minutes to keep her here. Their staff and instructors are very friendly. I love when my daughter comes home singing Christian songs she's learned, or when she say's blessings she's learned before mealtime. It's a wonderful environment, structured, and she learns a lot- win/win!

I can't say enough good things about this preschool. My son got rejected from a few daycares in the past because he is so cringy. Ever since he started preschool at angel's nest, he had a very smooth transition and happy going there everyday! They provide 2 meals and snacks througout a day, and they have never mistakenly given my son food that is allergic to him, which other daycares did many times! We just love ms laura and valorie so much! Thanks you for provide a safe and fun preschool for our community!

My daughter has been attending Angel's Nest for close to a year now and I have nothing but great things to say about the staff and facility. Before my daughter started, I scheduled a tour with Mrs. Roberta, but on the day of my tour Mrs. Roberta was out so I met with Ms. Tenaya. Ms. Tenaya was very nice and informative of the curriculum and guidelines at the school. And it was then I met the entire staff and I was so pleased and felt calm my daughter didn't want to leave. I love them all, so trustworthy and nice they made my daughter and I feel like we were apart of their own family. Sometimes my daughter does think she's apart of each of the staff members' families. Roberta, Tenaya, Susie, Amelia, Gloria, Trish, Kim, Vicki are all my favorites! Children are loved, educated, and treated very nicely at Angel's Nest. Plus its a clean facility and the parents are great too!

Angels' Nest Child Development Center of SacramentoDon't take your kids there. My son was sick a lot. He was even hospitalized 4 days. He was ill every 1.5 month on average. He was born as a healthy normal infant. Ever since he started preschool at the Angels' Nest at the age of 3, he was sick every 1.5 month. I am not exaggerated. I have medical receipts to prove his frequent illness. For a working mother like me, it's tough. My heart ached when he was sick and at the same time I was try not to burden my co-workers with my absences.I was a first-time mother, I did not know better. Everyone was saying to me "...it helps to build up his immunize system..". My babysitters were closed to the school. It affiliated with the Green Haven Lutheran Church right next to it and the tuition was reasonable, and no waiting list. I called other preschools at the time, they had a long waiting list. That's why I kept him there without thinking much about how dirty this place is. I once saw human feces on the doorknob of the kids' bathroom. The young kids did not know personal hygiene yet at this point, of course. No body checked the bathroom often. The teachers (Tanaya) and the Director, Roberta, are terrible. They acted nicely toward parents because they wanted the tuitions. Only Ms.Trish was a great, caring, compassionate preschool teacher. I liked her the way she treated my son when he was there briefly in her classroom. Other than her, the teachers (Tanaya, I'm not sure that's how to spell her name, but it's pronoun this way) and Robert the Director had feelings for young kids. Roberta did not know how to run a chidcare center. At least I did not see it. Other parents I talked to felt the same way. She expected the kids were already well trained prior enrolling to her place. She did not tell her teachers to teach the kids the social skills, proper behaviours. This place taught kids nothing at all. They were just babysitters, not a preschool. I feel guilty to send my son there and had him to go through all the sicknesses caused by an awful preschooll. It's sad to know Lutheran Church allows these type of disqualified careless folks running a preschool in a good neighbourhood. I should have trusted my intuitions to disenroll my boy from this school. Hope others learn my lesson and choose a suitable preschool that is clean and have caring teachers and Director.
