Such a top notch dining experience from start to finish. All four of us did the food and wine pairing which was just so delicious.I had a vegetarian dinner with each wine hand picked. Our service was quick and the amount of information our waiter had was impressive.Restaurant was quiet though it was a Sunday evening . It was nice to be able to have a conversation without having to shout.I would recommend Allora and the wine pairing they offer.Excellent restaurant.

This is the best restaurant in the greater Sacramento area, and yes I have tried them all multiple times. Michelin quality and service is incredible and you won't be disappointed unless you're a complete moron and have the taste buds of a moth. I love the truffle service when it's available and the prices are very reasonable and no hidden fees unless you're illiterate (then you have bigger problems).Thank you so much Allora for being here in Sacramento.

A lovely experience start to finish. I truly appreciate when restaurant owners are hands on and contribute just as much as their employees. I was greeted by Miss Elizabeth herself when I came in for my reservation. FYI, They do require a credit card down in order to secure a reservation. The space was a little smaller than I pictures but nonetheless beautiful, simple, and clean. Parking was a little scarce but if you go later at night you can park at the school parking lot and enjoy a little short walk before and after dinner. The service was phenomenal. Everybody was super warm, attentive, and helpful. Specifically Nick my server was fantastic. He was very patient as I was very indecisive. The food was just beautiful, cohesive, and all around delicious. Truly quality food. I loved the first bite I got, it was like a little bread ball with a chipotle tasting aioli with a pieces of Italian ham in it. The octopus with balsamic glaze was also terrific. My favorite dish was the mid course Lobster Fettuccine, which is flown in live and fresh from Maine daily. I did opt for the A5 Wagyu for an additional $65 but didn't really find it worth it. This was the heavier priced dish and was the only one I didn't love. The meat was definitely quality but I asked for medium rare and it was a tad bit undercooked for me and the greens plated with it just wasn't for me at all. I would've loved it with some rice and a delicate sauce. But when picking entrees just stick to the regular popular ones. The dessert was super unique tasting as well. I think the chef does a great job at balancing all the different taste buds. I would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a luxurious date night. I personally went alone. There is an autograt/service charge of 23% but they definitely deserve it.

OMG I love this place. I wasn't able to get a reservation for the weekend and I needed to go for my Wife's Birthday. Well I checked on Thursday and low and behold there were some openings. It wouldn't let me book online for some reason but I called and got the reservation, no problem. We arrived and parked on the street since their parking lot only has 2 spots and one is handicap. The street parking is even closer to the door. Ha.They hostess held the door open for us and seated us right away. Wishing my wife a happy Birthday. We sat at the same table as we did many months before. The waiter recognized us and welcomed us back. He was so nice and very good at his job. such great customer service here. He asked us what we wanted to drink and I asked if he had Remy Martin. He went and got the cognac list to be sure. They only had the 1738 so he recommended a Armagnac. He let me taste it first. How nice. I did get it. It was a 12 year one. Very nice. I forgot to take a picture of that menu. Darn. The place was decorated with Christmas stuff. Ornaments hanging from the ceiling and a big Christmas tree at the front door. The menu had Happy Birthday on it for my wife. So nice. Here you get three categories and one dessert to pick from. So there is always something for everyone, eating wise. I asked about the oysters because I love them. They have the Kumamoto type and the chef's special oysters . He has three oysters that he spruces up and it's a different way of doing oysters. The waiter said I would probably like the plain ones and that's what I went with. They were so good and yummy. Great pick. The wife started with the Hamachi with pears and it was fabulous. Everything was very fresh. Her next course was the butternut squash ravioli which she enjoyed. I thought they were just ok. I got the lasagna and it was really yummy. For the main I had the Chicken Marsala and you could taste the free range so good and fresh mushrooms. The wife got the Black Cod and there was a problem with it. It wasn't cooked all the way. She asked me and I called our waiter over. He took it back and the chef had to make another one. This time he split it in half to make sure it was cooked perfectly. The waiter brought us out the Artisanal Cheese plater for free to hold us over while my wife was waiting for her main. The cheeses were amazing. I like these types of cheeses more than my wife. We were both getting full already but dessert was coming. She got the donuts and I got the torta al chioccolato. I loved it. She had to take most of hers home. They also brought out a key lime tart and small mandaline cookie. both were nice. I will be back. We love the food here and the fabulous service.

Food: Did the 4 course with my friend $150/person. I did the oysters, fettuccini, black cod, and bomboloni. The deconstructed oysters were okay. Would have just preferred "regularly" prepared oysters. My friend had the polpo. This was a superior choice. Hella tender octopus. The fettuccini was great. It's been on the menu forever and for a reason. Perfectly cooked and with good flavor. My friend has the tajarin. Tasty, but a little salty for my taste. The black cod was fine. I had my friend's wagyu and I regretted my choice. Service: It what you expect at a place like this. Great pace to the meal. Friendly and attentive. Sommelier option. In house pastry chef. Just next level. Ambiance: This is an elegant place. One of the nicer, intimate dining experiences here in Sacramento.

Allora is the definition of fine dining and has earned its place in the Michelin Guide. Located in a beautiful, residential neighborhood just east of the Fab 40's, Allora offers an upscale dining experience in a modern Italian seafood and wine bar setting. Reservations are required (no walk-ins), with a 48-hour cancellation policy; cancellations within this window will result in a $95 per-person charge. They also have a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. It's a 2.5-3 hour experience, so I'd recommend leaving the kids at home; children under 8 aren't allowed, and the refined ambiance is best suited for adults. The interior ambiance is stunning and intimate, with beautiful modern decor and a thoughtfully arranged dining area. Their outdoor patio is covered and mostly enclosed, adorned with fresh green plants. Dress code is business casual or dressy to match the restaurant's vibe. Street parking is available in the neighborhood, making it convenient to find a spot close by.Allora offers a four-course prix fixe menu priced at $145 per person, with optional wine pairings for $95. They have a 23% service fee, rightfully so. They emphasize single-thread sourcing and work with local purveyors, crafting dishes with the freshest seasonal ingredients. The menu showcases Italian-inspired flavors with Sacramento's local bounty, including supplements like Italian truffle, wild-foraged mushrooms, and Tsar Nicoulai Golden Reserve caviar. Every dish felt artfully prepared, and the menu, which changes weekly, adds a touch of exclusivity. Menus are single-use and sealed with wax, creating a special keepsake you can take home. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us through each course, explaining flavor profiles and helping us select items we wouldn't usually try, like the squid ink and raw hamachi. It was an immersive experience, with ingredients expertly layered and flavors that balanced beautifully. The "Risky Business" mocktail was a favorite, capturing the taste of a spirit in a completely alcohol-free drink. The attention to detail and commitment to quality make every course a new discovery.Allora combines old-world Italian traditions with a modern flair, focusing on seafood, handmade pastas, and curated wine pairings. It's a place to savor each bite and indulge in the art of dining. This is fine dining at its best, friendly and inviting, with service that makes you feel taken care of. Allora is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable, high-end dining experience in Sacramento.

Holy moly, food gods, thank you for blessing us with Allora! We dined here to celebrate my husband's birthday, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the elegant décor--inside and out. The green and gold accents were simply stunning. Our server, Danielle, was fantastic, offering helpful suggestions and making sure each dish arrived at just the right time. The service was flawless--attentive to every detail but never intrusive. A true 5-star experience. We kicked off our meal with the caviar supplement, perfectly paired with an Italian sparkling wine--absolutely divine! For appetizers, we couldn't resist the Polpo (balsamic-glazed octopus) and the hamachi crudo, both of which were exquisite. For our pasta course, we chose the agnolotti with a luxurious crab supplement and the fettuccine with lobster and prawns--both dishes were brimming with flavor. As we moved to the third course, the short rib with Dungeness crab and Yukon gold potatoes, alongside the Alaskan halibut with beech mushrooms, took the meal to a whole new level.Dessert was nothing short of heavenly. We indulged in Che Fico--roasted fig with whipped ganache--and the Torta Al Cioccolato, with its vibrant passionfruit curd and fennel pollen. In between courses, we were treated to delightful amuse-bouches and a refreshing sorbet between the second and third courses. To top it all off, they surprised us with a platter of mini desserts and gifted us delicious biscotti to enjoy at home. The restaurant is truly stunning! While the exterior is modest, the interior is absolutely breathtaking. Allora also boasts a lovely outdoor area adorned with lush green plants, offering a serene and relaxing dining atmosphere. We left fully satisfied and already dreaming about our next visit!

This is definitely a special occasion place! You'll easily spend about $400 for a multi course menu but everything is SO GOOD. We went here for my husband's birthday and he really enjoyed everything. The service and ambiance was exceptional as you'd expect. I went here for work a few years back and decided to come back again.

Extremely small parking lot but able to find a spot along the neighboring streets. Seated at the bar while our table was being prepped. Enjoyed a delicious Vespa while watching the chef orchestrate delicious entrees behind the kitchen window. Bartender was personable and knowledgeable of all things in the restaurant. Seated at a table in the enclosed outdoor patio and doted on by Li. The menu had our names on it heralding our special occasion! All courses were tasty but dessert was so good! I don't eat dessert usually but the panna cotta was so light and fruity! The bomboloni was not only fun to say but also fun to eat. Would encourage all to make reservations and try this place out.

Incredible food and service. The food was absolutely delicious. The fettuccine and mussels were superb as well as the chef and servers. I wish I could describe the flavors of the mussels and fettuccine dishes; they were the best tasting I've had with delectable sauces. This is better than some Michelin star restaurants I've been fortunate enough to go to. A fantastic experience.
