Richard is very knowledgeable when it comes to orthotics and shoes. He and his staff are very helpful with every aspect of footwear. He is my go to with everything related to footwear.

My husband just got shoes and semi custom insoles from them. When I tell you the whole process was so fast! Alana helped us and knew exactly what my husband needed and what would get him out of pain. I got a decent pair of well fitting walking shoes here - twice now - and will return at some point for a third, but I have not figured out why they seem to project what I perceive as a general disinterest in their customers. Maybe it's a real chore these days to wait on people and serve them. An indifferent body language from the get go here seems apparent. It may be a remnant of Covid distancing but I have my doubts. How do they keep a business like this going? They offer a good selection and will make an effort to fit you but could use some people skills. I used to be in sales and visited many different family run small businesses, but I simply do not recall such repeated standoffishness by the management and the personnel I've had occasion to deal with there. Bizarre.

If you need help finding shoes for your tired or wide feet this is a great place to go. They will listen to what you need and help you find it. They carry a lot of orthotics but also just really well made shoes that are stylish and comfortable.

He was so courteous and politeful! He made sure that they were custom made to my feet and they fit right. I felt I was being picky about color and style but not once did I feel rushed or an inconvenience. I couldn't pick them up right away but they had no problem holding on to them until I could pick them up. I will happily come back when I need a new pair!

Wow, it has been only a year since I bought those comfortable sandals. I walked the souls off of them!When I checked in find out about resoling the sandals, I received a mailer to send them off for factory recommended resoling.Holding my breath til they come back.Best sandals I ever bought, and excellent customer care.

Alex's is the place to go if you have problems with ankle or foot pain. Alia was very pleasant, thorough, and patient. My son teaches special ed and is on his feet all day. We left with a pair of shoes that he knows should give him the ankle and foot support he needs. A great experience.

I went looking for dress shoes at the store as I had bought a pair of New Balance with orthotic soles fitted in the shoes by them last year and had been very happy with their service then. A young girl approached me to ask if she could help me. I was eyeing the older gentleman that was serving another customer, who sounded quite knowledgeable from how he was talking to the customer, and thought maybe I'll just look around till he is free, but he was taking his time with the customer, so I reluctantly started talking to the young girl, who turned out to be amazingly patient and helpful. Katie took a ton of time to let me try different shoes, different sizes and walk around with them. The shoes I wanted were not in the store, so she ordered them and today I went to pick them up. Katie was there and again she adjusted the pads, loosened and tightened the laces till I felt totally comfortable in them. Then she assisted in switching my regular laces to elastic ones on my old runners. She even got her father (the owner) to lace them properly and did not charge me for them. It was such a treat to have this kind of service. I wish this family store all the best

Delt with two different folks here during my visit they were both great. I have issues with my feet needing an especially wide toe-box, and managed to they find me two shoes that fit. However, those shoes were ~$130 more expensive than what is typical for them, and they absolutely tore apart in under 3 months, unacceptable for $300 shoes. I wouldn't mind the expensive markup if they lasted me as long as promised, but these things showed wear within the first month of use.
