Oh my! Best shrimp and fish tacos. The tortillas were Parmesan cheese encrusted. AND the service is amazing. Can't wait to come again. Close to the airport is a bonus.

You can't get a better place to dine on incredible food while enjoying the most amazing views of the Sacramento River! Host, bartenders, wait staff are all exceptional too! You are just inches away from the waters edge, generally with cool breezes keeping you comfy, and being entertained by passing jet skis, fishing boats, skiers and pleasure craft! They make a pretty mean Rum Runner too! Lots of beer choices, but I recommend the Alamar Light Ale. Spot on. We got lost in an amazing Caesar Salad, Shrimp Po Boy and amazing burgers and fries.Easy parking and walk to the restaurant. Don't miss this jewel.

What a great place for a meal! It's definitely unique and has a wonderful location, essentially a large barge on the river. There's indoor and outdoor seating but the outdoor is by far the best. The deck is covered so lots of shade, and watching the boats go by is really a treat, plus the vintage train on the other side of the river. It's a very casual atmosphere, almost like going on a picnic! We had a select menu since I came with a fairly sizeable group.I chose the Nashville Chicken Sandwich and fries and it was very good. The sandwich held together well and the chicken was succulent with a favorable topping. The fries were equally delicious. I did not regret my choice.Washing it down with an iced tea was perfect and they do have an extensive drink menu.Service was spot on, friendly and attentive.Getting down to the restaurant is a kick, a series of ramps, stairs and gang planks. You feel like you're boarding a cruise ship! Oh, there is an elevator for those who can't navigate the stairs.I will go back!

Had a great time at dinner here with friends. Plenty of space for big groups. Hubby had the hot beef sandwich and I had the Nashville fried chicken sandwich and we really liked both. We came around Christmas time and it was super festive and cozy inside. Will have to come back in the summer and check out the patio

Well first, the ambiance of being on the river while enjoying a sunny afternoon is one to remember. The service was quick and engaging. After reading the menu we both ordered the lobster roll. Hers with a side salad and mine with fries. I did try a cup of clam chowder, which was very delightful. Hearty portions, quality taste and topped off with a glass of Chardonnay. I highly recommend this quaint place but don't tell too many friends. I like the quiet !!

I'm a little mixed on this review... our server was extremely friendly and checked on us multiple times. All the food came out super hot, but I didn't get the feeling that the food was fresh. We started with calamari and breading was nice and crisp, but the actual meat tasted overdone. The bell pepper sauce was really good. My husband got the lobster roll and he liked it but the meat was warm and shredded (similar to imitation crab) which is why I didn't get a "fresh" taste from it. It was mixed with a lot of sauce and seasoning which I'm not really used to for lobster rolls. I'm used to lobster rolls having large chunks so you can really taste the freshness to it. I ordered the prawns and fries. The prawns were large and not overdone. They were good but I wonder if the actual shrimp were frozen, not fresh. Fries were good. We definitely ate them up. Pricing per entree was $20- $25. Again the food was good but definitely didn't taste like it was fresh seafood. There are other spots I prefer so I don't think I would be back again.

Awesome patio right on the water. Lots of people just rode up and parked boats to dine, very cool. Lots of swallows and grackles, too. Service, food, and drinks were great. Would come back. Blackberry mule: Nice and sweet followed by a ginger kick. Didn't taste synthetic, was strong, and does have a lot of sugar in it (my throat gets a little clogged with too much cane sugar but sometimes a little treat is worth it lol). Would definitely get again. Smoked fish dip: Mostly salt, that's why it's delicious :) Would get this again as well, without the jalapeno garnishment. The tortilla chips are your standard thin and crispies.Half order chicken wings: You can get two flavors. Of bbq and mesquite, I definitely preferred mesquite for it's sweet and salty sugar/pepper flavor combo. It was also easier to handle and less messy. The bbq flavor was okay - I grew up eating chicken baked with ketchup (which tends to carmelize because of the sugar content) and I loved that. This was kind of similar, but with a touch of maybe cocktail sauce flavor, maybe a slight kick, but overall almost less flavorful than ketchup somehow. It was improved with the ranch, which is a thick and tangier almost tartar sauce like ranch (I prefer a less tangy ranch but it was still good). I felt the mesquite flavor seeped into the meat better, whereas bbq sauce just sits on top of it. The chicken quality was a little tough - not overcooked, just the chicken itself felt tough? But anyway I would get it again, would try a flavor other than bbq. I don't think the bbq was bad, it just wasn't for me.

Kind of a whim stop after doing the rail bikes across the river, but it was a good choice!Opted for the (famous) shrimp tacos with their homemade chips and salsa. Their shrimp are big and they don't skimp, so much appreciated! I'm not into chunky salsa and was pleasantly surprised by the consistency of theirs and the taste too!Hush puppies had lots of flavor, especially with the dipping sauce. The real shiner for me was the jumbo chicken wings, with leg and thigh attached (personal favorite and not very common) and the sauce - Nashville honey - was chefs kiss. I could've licked the plate if I wasn't in public. Service started off solid and then he kind've disappeared once we got our food, but no worries, still a yummy place to eat. Very relaxed, casual ambiance.

Cute and casual when ya just want to have a calming peaceful view of the river with a drink and yummy bites. It was chill during the late afternoon but I'm sure it'd get rowdy during peak hours after the crowd fills in and the drinks are flowing. Was excited to try their grilled oysters. They were a tad overcooked compared to the delicious, plump juicy ones I had in Bodega Bay. Fries were tasty and crispy, washed down with the refreshing blackberry mule. Service was friendly and prompt. Love watching the cars and trucks go by over the bridge, it's far away enough where you don't get the noise. Cool, contrasting view of the calm river. It's so cool to be able to pull your boat up and dock it just steps away from the patio. Where's my ride??? Someone pick me up and let's sail away!! 8)

What a cool find! I had a four hour timeframe. I had to burn between landing at the airport and my business partner arriving. I looked up restaurants, and this one was only 2 miles away. I called them and asked if a single lady with the suitcase could come hang out their bar for about three or four hours and they were super sweet! During that time I had a couple beverages and some wonderful food. The staff was so nice and accommodating! I got to know them all and it was really fun. So fun that we had an hour or two to burn on the way back and we went back! Incredibly cool location where you feel like you're in a small town only a couple miles from the airport
