The best sushi I have had all in all of Sacramento. Tried probably 30 places over the years and most places went downhill. Aiko is solid and consistent. You won't find better service anywhere and the prices are very fair for the quality. The fish is always super fresh. They do happy hour all day on Tuesdays and Sundays which is nice. Great drink options and rolls on the happy hour menu. Friendly staff, awesome food and good vibes. I usually don't do reviews, but I feel this place deserves some praise.

In a nutshell; pretty neat sushi establishment, not a strong suggest but an ok spot if to try if you're in the area.Another sushi place with specialty sushi that have rather unique names. Lots of parking space around. Went during dinner and it was fairly busy but place had a lot of seats and comfortable booths for any time of the day. Servers were great. Food didn't take too long to arrive. Never had trouble having refills for water. Overall always a pleasant experience every visit.

Walking in you are greeted with a Japanese greeting. The server was prompt in informing you to sit where you like. We must have came in on a bad night because they are out of a lot of items. No uni, no hamachi, and no kanpachi. When asking if this is a regular occurrence the server said it isn't.Onto what we ordered. Nigiri: Otoro, tobiko with uzura, and bluefin tuna. Rolls: Lion King, Slap Happy, and Smoky Aiko. Everything was so fresh and the rolls were so tasty. I really like my rolls sliced thin, and these rolls had nice thin pieces and the proportions of rice the ingredients were just right. The nigiri did not have too much rice. I am very interested in tasting the items they ran out of.Dining atmosphere is casual with laid back jazzy style music quietly playing. Tables are granite topped and Japan Night Time Cityscape posters above the booth seats. TV above the sushi bar has sports playing. The sushi chef is at the bar chatting with patrons while he is busy procuring orders. He informs them of what is what. Very good! I am inclined to return!

The location is alright. It's in the middle of a shopping center near a bunch of other shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. There is plenty of parking so that won't be an issue. On the outside, it's nothing special. Even on Apple Maps, this is still Sky Sushi. My group arrived because we thought it was Sky Sushi. We were about to leave to go to the real Sky Sushi but decided to give this place a try. Boy were we pleasantly surprised. This is probably the best sushi I have ever had. Maybe I was just hungry from spending all day on the lake but man was this meal good. Who knew being stranded at an old Sky Sushi could be this fun.The ambiance inside was inviting and friendly. It feels and looks like an upscale restaurant on the inside. Almost like something from The Bear. I enjoyed the lofi-pop they had playing in the background. The bathrooms were clean and the AC was blasting in the restaurant. Our server, Lai, was very friendly and gave insightful information on the menu. He told us to try the garlic edamame and was he right. I have never had anything that tasted quite like this dish. The sauce it was served in was so good I drank it like a juice. Absolutely amazing. 5 stars for this dish alone. The sushi rolls were large and they give you like 12 rolls! Insane portion sizes!!! I can't name another sushi place that gives you the large rolls with this many. You will be full walking out of here. The fish tasted very fresh. All the ingredients were packed with flavor. The sauces were nice and drizzled. They had the right amount of crunch and warmth. The flavor was divine. On top of that, we ordered a beer pitcher and sake bomb for way less than I've had anywhere else. The rolls were $7 and $8 each unheard of in this economy. A dinner for two people is about ~$25 before tip making this a ($). Their prices are dirt cheap, I wish I could give a sixth star. The quality and flavor of the food far surpass its price tag. Honestly, this is a hidden gem. Best sushi I've ever had no cap. Way better than Sky Sushi.Bottom Line/TLDR: BEST SUSHI EVER (and affordable)

First time coming since the change to Aiko from Sky Sushi. The reason I come is for the Garlic Soy Edamame. I love the deep flavor of the edamame. If you are familiar with Filipino Adobe, that's the flavor of the edamame. Delicious. Also had the gyoza which was good but pretty average. For my main I had the Scallop Manic. The flavor was great although a little sweeter than expected. Doesn't matter, scallops are my favorite food. My family tried a number of other rolls, all good according to them.. Also ordered the Katsu Don and Teriyaki Don for my kids. The chicken was good and it came with a lot of rice. Like a lot, a lot. Good spot for sushi. Smaller menu but done well.

Good sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi. Prices are around $15-30 depending on what you order. Plenty of parking. I would definitely come back if in the area.

We love this place. It has the best sushi rolls in the area, no competition. The scallop maniac is our favorite but a variety of fun rolls that you will love. The ambiance is personal and friendly. The service is good and helpful. Just such a great place to come for sushi. We come here for pretty much all our special occasions and never regret it.
