Great family friendly dojo to train your physical and spiritual life while engaging and building a great community. I have been training here for 6 years and the level of support provided by the Sensei and community for all aspects of your life and development is unmatched by any other group or institution I've experienced.

I have practiced aikido for over 2 years here, and the Aikido Center offers what I want - community and health. I researched a load of options in martial arts. This is the top of the heap. Inviting environment. A welcoming community. Growth at my own pace. A place to build core strengths - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. All my brothers and sisters are on medication to control cholesterol. I'm not. I'm really grateful for all the benefits of aikido at the Aikido Center. Definitely worth coming to a first class. You'll see what I mean!

my little girl has been going to this dojo for a little over a month now and both of us are extremely happy with the sensei and the overall environment.they really do focus on the spiritual aspect of aikido and i like this a lot. it is very relaxing each and every time i watch my girl practice and it keeps her grounded and adds a positive balance to our busy and sometimes hectic lives. i waited a while to get my daughter involved in an extracirricular activity, mainly due to my finances, but also because i always knew that i wanted her to be involved in something that taught more than just physical skills, i want her to pick up some life skills as well, and this center has delivered in that particular department. we will be coming here, i predict, for a long time to come.thanks for reading, all:)

I have been going here for almost a year, and just love it! You will learn Aikido and so much more. Aikido is much more than a martial art (though it is that too). You'll get exercise, strength, flexibility, confidence, and join a warm community. It reminds me more of dance than the previous martial arts exposure I've had. Matt Sensei is very dedicated to keeping Aikido in context with all of life, and this gives it a holistic perspective that I'm sure you might not get at every dojo.

I have been a student for about the last decade. While the community is refreshed with new students continually, one of the distinguishing characteristics of this dojo is the longevity of many of its members--both in the time training here as well as the fact that students train up to their 70s.Students range in age from 8 to senior citizens with a robust children's program and a new low impact class for those who are injured. This class provides a very real and satisfying experience of this wonderful art..
