Prices are outrageous food was lukewarm beans are out of a can service was ok she didn't quite understand what we were asking for so she charged us for full plates when we only wanted tacos al cart $50 bucks for two ppl for a whole in the wall place .... Oh and $2.10 for a small canned soda crazy !!!

We went to Agave not realizing they were closing at 3. When we arrived, the young lady in the front told us the restaurant was actually closed. But before we turned around, an older lady came out and said (with a huge smile) that she make us food of we take it to go which we were planning on anyways, so we got the food to go. Just that by itself, I believe earns them five stars, for age made us feel welcome and definitely made us really happy. We both really appreciated her. Now on to the food: First off, their salsas are THE BEST!! Every one of them were yummy. Even the spicy ones still had a really good flavor. We also got different tacos, chile rellenos, and chicken enchilada. Tacos were very nice, the chorizo was our favorite. The chile relleno was excellent. It was my favorite thing, and the rice and beans out came with are flavorful too and luckily we had some salsa leftover from the chips and salsa so I was able to top the fish with that and I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our meal. A must try location for sure.

I am not sure what it was in the food, but I got very sick. I ordered machaca. It made my stomach very bloated and painful. I will not be going back. The service its self was ok. The lady was nice. I can't comment on the ambiance.

Agave restaurant - Great find on Yelp i was visiting Sacramento and found this place on Yelp. Agave have the three things that will please customers: Great service, awesome food and very good drinks. Plenty of parking and it is free. They have a great variety of plates on the menu of American, Mexican and Salvadorian food. Very fast kitchen and quality if the meals. Prices are also reasonable.Staff make you feel welcomed at all times and treat you very well and with great respect. Decoration on a Mexican environment was done with a very good taste. During the meal, staff check on you from time to time without annoying you. I will be back, next time, I come to Sacramento

This is place is decent, but the pupusas were very plain and just okay. I've visited the place in person during lunch (quick and clean) and haven't had issues with my pick-up orders. However, it's not a place where I would go for pupusas in the future.

It was my 1st time trying this place and I will be back forsure. The ambiance, was a quiet and clean restaurant. The customer service is great and welcoming, the young lady working in front was very sweet and helpful with the menu and specials they have going on. We ordered Asada (steak) nachos and they were very tasty. They have a huge menu, reasonable prices and with the way the nachos came out, I'm sure the rest of the food will be tasty, can't wait to try out more of the menu.
