My family and I have had the BEST experience with ALC and the staff there. The owners, Joe & Salli Ford, are some of the kindest, most loving and patient people I've come across that have worked with my child. They truly love all the children that they get to work with & it shows in all of their interactions (they have 6 of their own & their experience shows!!). They have a wonderful offering of classes that fit all ages and learning styles and have been a priceless resource for me while homeschooling my son this year. I am so grateful for ALC and their programs.

I cannot convey enough my gratitude and appreciation for the experience that our son had at Academy Learning Center. Ms. Sallie and Mr. Joe, along with the entire ALC staff, was nothing short of incredible. Their skilled approach at working with our sons learning and behavioral nuances was masterful. They are kind, gracious, professional, caring, appropriately firm, and encouraging to both children and parents. There level of communication on daily progress and areas for growth were greatly appreciated. We saw unquestionable growth and advancement in our son academically and socially. Thank you to the Academy Learning Center for such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this school!

Two of my children attended a robotic summer camp two summers ago and absolutely enjoyed the challenge of coding their Lego creations to do simple tasks. We are looking into the summer camps again this summer because of the positive experience with the camp leader and the fun learning environment. Every time I walked into the Academy, I always felt the the kids are the main focus of the team and my children were very comfortable and welcome.

My two boys been going here since the beginning of the school year for tutoring with Miss Nina. I'm a homeschool mom and she was able to give me the support I needed with my boys to move them forward in Math and English. Keeping my kids focused and motivated this year has been a challenge but as soon as I put them in tutoring that all changed and learning started getting fun again. Miss Nina was a great fit for us as she homeschooled her own children I knew she would understand our style of learning and wow she sure did!!! The boys have so much fun learning with her and she used lots of ways to engage them in what they were learning. It took a lot of pressure off me. After School Academy is on many charter vendor lists also. The owner Sally is amazing so easy to work with and honestly you know she really cares about what she is doing and the kids that come in there so that they find their love for learning again. I can't say enough good things about it. I was completely impressed and it beat all my expectations of tutoring.

I am so excited to have Salli back for in-person tutoring. My son is behind in reading and of course the pandemic made it all more stressful. I feel relieved to have Salli's help. Salli is great with my son. She keeps him engaged by finding reading material that is fun and interesting to him. She is also really good at keeping my kid focused on his work. She is animated and silly which makes reading and writing more enjoyable for him.

This place is never ending with frustration. Not reliable, bad communications, lots of rescheduling, hardly anyone up front, some staff & college students were inexperienced w/ certain problems. That's just the private tutoring part, programs is another story for another review later. My daughter had a better tutoring experience from a senior in high school.

The program is great. However, there are serious safety concerns. A child hit, kicked and bit my son multiple times. The last attack before I pulled my child out there were two adults right there when this child threatened my child with violence and then charged at my son, the adults employed by this program stood there and watched. Then they allowed the other child to play and punished my child. It gets worse. We went to leave and that child's mother verbally assaulted MY CHILD in the parking lot, right in front of me. I was told that she would not be on campus and it was safe to bring my child back. We gave it one more shot and they allowed the mother of this child to be right next to my child, she gave my son "stink eye" and intimidated my child after I was told my child would be safe. I would not and do not recommend this place at all. there are many other fantastic options that make your children's safety a priority.
