Thank you, Academic Impact, for helping me get into graduate school at Northwestern and USC!Although I majored in journalism in college, it's always best to have others review your writing for you. There is no group I would trust more to edit my graduate school admissions essays than Academic Impact. I was so impressed with their attention to detail and ability to improve the content of my work while helping me maintain my voice and message. Plus, they are unbelievably intelligent people who are passionate about what they do--making the admissions experience seamless and enjoyable. I am lucky to have worked with Academic Impact and I would recommend their services to anybody who is striving for academic success!

Excellent service for students needing that extra help.SITREPWhen we can get them, we have a number of student assistants that work in our state offices at California Department of Social Services (CDSS) and other California Health & Human Services (CHHS) Agency member departments such as Public Health and Rehab. Many students over the years come to us from various programs, with various educational backgrounds. In interviews and at workshops, there are service names that pop up quite frequently that deserve a positive mention whenever there is an opportunity, and this is one such outfit.THE SETUPThese tutors come from many different backgrounds, and educational majors, and universities as close as UCDavis and from as far away as Princeton. These tutors are a great group of college graduates with the most current knowledge base in their respective realms. We are lucky to have services such as theirs here in Sacramento.THE LOWDOWNGreat tutors with great teaching skills for students who benefit tremendously from their skills.

My son has received over 14 hours of one on one tutoring in AP calculus. He has been able to keep up with the class and pass the class with the in-home tutoring he received. He was able to get some high grades on tests. He had two tutors and they were very knowledgeable and patient. They made sure he understood he excersizes and studied with him as long as they could until he mastered the concepts.

I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Sarah. We have boy/girl twins who are very different in how they approach things. Sarah did amazing work with both of them. One is heading off to Baylor and the other is going to UW. I would recommend her to anyone looking for help with college applications.

I can't say enough good things about Academic Impact. My son's college counselor, Sarah was exactly what he needed. She made his college application process so much easier and with a lot less stress than we had expected. She followed his progress from start to finish, always kept him on track and gave him wonderful advice and ideas regarding the various essays he had to write. During his application process, she also offered two different workshops which were really beneficial to my son. He really appreciated her always checking in, asking for and/or giving updates and offering words of encouragement. Academic Impact is reasonably priced, and I would recommend Sarah and this company to anyone. It was definitely money well spent. Lisa B.

I highly recommend Sarah Patterson with Academic Impact!! She has helped both my son and daughter through the very stressful and intense college application process. She guided them through in a very thoughtful and timely manner and always made herself available whenever questions arose. The kids appreciated her kind, straightforward, and honest approach throughout the process. I never could have guided my kids through the application process on my own. I am forever grateful for Sarah's help!!

When my oldest child (now a college junior) needed a math tutor her senior year I turned to Academic Impact. Her tutor Matt helped her to stay focused and see Calculus through to the end with an A to boot. When my youngest child found herself facing a heavy and challenging academic load this year I turned to Academic Impact once again. Magically Matt was available and my daughter has a standing date with him once a week for help with both Honors Chem and Honors Algebra 2. I appreciate the fact that Matt is able to help with multiple subjects. Sarah and her team at Academic Impact has been helpful, flexible, and their services invaluable.

They came to my office and met my son there after school to help him in math. After just a couple of visits, my son was understanding his lessons much better. I wish the teachers could explain the way that the tutor did.

We have been so happy with the results from Academic Impact. We started using their services as supplement instruction for our daughter when we realized that the English program at her school was falling short with the temporary teacher. Academic Impact has not only taught her grade level skills but has taken her way beyond. She is now very confident in her writings, enjoys writing, gets straight A's and is very ready for HSPT. Shortly after we started using AI, our younger son decided that he wanted the same results. Not only has he been earning A's but can now focus when he studies on his own. Additional benefits: Their hours are flexible, they come to your home, and they accept credit cards. I absolutely think the investment in AI private tutoring is well worth it! You should try it!!!!
