16th Street Donuts

Very classic donut shop. In a spacious parking lot. Got a dozen or so donuts plus some donut holes for the office, everyone loved it!

This review is not about the donuts themselves but about the people staff were allowing to loiter inside the establishment. Went early morning around 5am. Service was prompt and man working was friendly but there was around 7 people loitering inside and right outside the door. None of which were eating a donut? My main annoyance was a woman who was clearly on drugs or in a manic episode flicking an unlit cigarette and rambling inside the store. Got in my space a few times, kept trying to talk to me. Seriously, why are you letting people harass your customers. Do better.

My favorite donut in Sacramento. Their glazing is thicker than most, and their donuts are bigger than others. Their dough is never dry, but so pillowy and chewy. It's perfection. The ambiance still reminds me of the old school donut place, including the price! Service is quick, and they're always happy to fill my box with the most delicious maple bars & sugar twists. Such a classic donut spot, can't get any better than this place.

A glazed donut for under $1, can't complain. Super fluffy and so good. It's not a sit-in type of place. You go in, get your donut, and move on with your day.

SO GOOD! Went in on a whim a few hours before they closed and the guy behind the counter was super nice. My boyfriend & I both picked a bunch of donuts and despite being so close to closing, they were all still so fresh and delicious. Very happy and will be back!

Someone bought more free donuts to work. This place still reigns as cheapest. I got to try the chocolate cake frosted and the crumb cake one I think? Still good. Taste like donuts. 5/5 especially for being free this time around.

Love this place! I stop by a few times a month and the donuts always taste great. They have such a wide variety of donuts and some other pastries. The employees are always friendly and patient & the shop is always very clean.

I ordered many donuts for a work event! They were delish! 10/10 for quality, service and taste!!

On my return walk from this donut shop I LITERALLY nearly had a Heat Stroke That being said, when I tasted the Apple Fritter OMG!!! WORTH IT!!!The Apple Fritters are large, bumpy (that's a gr8 thing!) & filled with moist Apple Pie filling They cost only 2!!!Also, the young man who waited on me was friendly, helpful, & kind.
