"Excellent, authentic Mexican food! I got a carnitas meat plate for $11. The meat and its accompanying salsa is superb. Grilled onions came with it which I'm a big fan of. There's a table and chairs to set and eat but I came home to eat. I didn't see a tip jar so I didn't tip. Food truck is in a desolate, warehouse-laden area of West Cap. Their red sauce/ salsa is sooooo good too. Huge thumbs up!"

"I've loved pizza since I was a kid and Indian food since I was introduced to it in the late 1980s, but until Indian pizza restaurants started appearing in the last several years it never occurred to me to combine the two. But it works!I've ordered from Curry Pizza House three times now and have never been disappointed. Everything tastes great and every time I've been there the people working the counter have been exceptionally friendly.As a vegetarian, I can't say enough good about the chili paneer pizza and masala chips. Just be warned that those chips look innocent but have a really nice kick to them!"

"Layout the vibe here is when your really in the mood to cook, this is a great place to shop for your asian groceries. Also layout is ok and organized, although some stuff can be place in wrong section and area due to customers who change their minds and randomly place and item in a random place. Prices are cheaper than other places and it does the job of saving every cent i can. Just a convenient place for in and out like a grab and go. parking parking may be busy during the weekends. it can be crowded when its busy and hard to find parking. but during weekday don't have a problem. veggies / fruits also love coming here for their fresh produce. i always come here to get some fresh mint leaves to make flavor water or add it to my noodles. i also love to get the fresh authentic veggies such as bitter melon, ong choy, and Chinese broccoli as well. along with other veggies i forgot the name of it lol. also come here for their thai chili as swell or enoki shrooms. i think this place has a great vegetarian options to shop for. They do have an awesome selection of fresh fruits, longans, to lychee, dragon fruit, papaya, mango, strawberries, and mangosteen, and etc. meat / fishi do like coming here to get their fresh pork, or chicken. When i am making a dish that requires fresh chicken legs aka drum sticks i would come here for that. i also do like their fresh pork chops to make some mango salsa over pork chops for the summer dish. A good selection of meats already cut up and ready to be cook up. Yes they do have a variety of fishes to choose from. i personally like my catfish steamed with black bean sauce . also like coming here to get some tilapia and deep fried it to perfection and add sauce on top of it. sauces I always catch myself coming here to get sauces for stir fry. i also like coming here for their hot chili oils and sauces which are nice and spicy. Love to come here and get the dry garlic to sprinkle it on my noodles to give it extra flavors. If you love sauces for food, they do have a aisle for that. drinks I remember when i was child, i love to go the their fridge center and look at all the variety of drinks. They have lots of asian drinks to american drinks like Arizona's tea and etc. i usually like to get the grass jelly with honey which is refreshing and have texture inside the drink."

"New location is nicely done. Parking lot spacious without high traffic makes it peaceful to patronize. Though the parking lot is a little too dim. However, inside the store it's bright and just right!The owner(s) must love olives as there was quite the selection of olives. It's a month after opening and the shelves were still in great condition. I came hunting for boba pearls, specifically O's Bubble Variety Instant Boba Pack (but macha is yucka). I found on the dried goods shelves a different boba tea package. And it was macha. Darn!Nicely organized, spacious, clean, kind staff, this store is good. Items I checked had generous best by dates. Less specialty treats than I've seen at other GO but still plenty of variety!Edit: for the Yelper who stated this location isn't in Gold River, this GO is in Gold River. "I don't go to this location that much anymore because there are other Hawaiian bbq spots nearby and their service isn't that good, but when I do I would get their chicken katsu. They give a good amount of chicken and it is very crispy, but the meat is thin. Sometimes I get scared it is not cooked all the way because the meat would be a little pink. They are also stingy with their sauce now. They used to have a self serve katsu sauce station a few years ago. They only give one little container of katsu sauce now, which is not enough. Service is okay because the people who take the orders are not that friendly. It felt a little gloomy in the store because they do not have much lighting and it was empty during lunch time. A few people came in for takeout while I was waiting, and my order took almost 10 minutes to come out."

"West Sac Strength & Conditioning is an awesome gym. The program is consistently varied and pushes your limits. The owner Chris is a great dude with the perfect demeanor to welcome you if you're new or take you to the next level if you're experienced.The community at this gym is also incredibly warm and welcoming. It has much more of a helpful, caring vibe than most other gyms."

"I could have really enjoyed this place. I am big on community projects that bring people together and enrich them. Unfortunately I believe that the staff are to immature and not seasoned enough to make the greatest decisions for everyone And they all want to be involved in social work but they all except one or two seem to be tainted and judgemental, and prejudice at times and I hope that they don't get paid, because they don't do anything. What is there purpose?"

"My family are from Taishan (a small city in Guangdong Province where lots of overseas Chinese in the U.S. are from). This restaurant serves very authentic and tasty Taishanese street food. Many of our out of town friends and family also enjoy the food. Besides the yummy food and specialty dishes, they are very accommodating and the service is good overall. I highly recommend this restaurant! Some good dishes to order are: steam rice noodle roll with beef, cilantro & egg; fried donut; fried fillet with black pepper; steam rice in clay pot; fujian pan-fried rice noodle; Lo Mein with just green onion and ginger."

"We were there on Saturday around 1pm. It was packed. Thankfully. Someone got up just as we were ready to sit down. We totally scored a table. If not there were tables outside, other than it was a little chilly outside.I ordered the Hammer 1. It was great. Very juicy. I didn't need more than that. I loved every bite. We also had the onion rings. They were very tasty. They were just as crispy as I had hoped. I love crispy fries and onion rings."

"The Side Door, Sacramento, CA - May 20, 2023I came to The Side Door on a Saturday evening with a couple of friends to see Joe Craven and the Painted Mandolin, a four piece band made up of Joe Craven (Mandolin, violin, percussion, and vocals), Matthew Hartley (acoustic lead guitar, banjo, and vocals), Larry Graff (acoustic rhythm guitar and vocals), and Dan Robbins (stand up bass). I had purchased my ticket online at https://www.thesidedoor.net/shows a few weeks earlier at the suggestion of a good friend of mine who had seen the band before. Right next door to The Side Door is The Hop Gardens Restaurant. My two friends and I showed up at The Hop Gardens restaurant at about 5:30 PM to get a bite to eat and have a couple of beers before the 7 PM show. Doors at The Side Door opened at 6:30 PM. We were the first to show up. We were greeted by super cool and friendly Side Door owner John Green who had our name on his list and checked us in as we arrived. John explained to us a little bit about his business model for bringing through great performers at a reasonable price to the audience. You can get a discount on your ticket if you order early. I got mine for $20 and one of my friends got his for $25.The Side Door is a very intimate setting. The room is a triangular shape and seats about 100 people, with the stage at one corner and the chairs arranged in curved rows leading away from the stage. The front row is literally 6 feet away from the edge of the stage. I got to sit in center of the front row.Joe Craven and the Painted Mandolin are considered to be one of the best Grateful Dead cover bands ever, and of course, we did get to hear some great GD songs; however, on this pleasant Summer's eve, we were mainly treated to songs from their newly released album, "Sweet Rain." Most of the songs were written by Larry Graff. Matthew Hartly engineered the album produced by Joe Craven. Songs included: Sweet Rain, After the Fire, Love in a Rose, Shine On, Mather, Bird Dream, and Northern California Banjo Hound. The melodic tunes filled the air with comforting rhythmic resonance, like sweet honey over a warm raspberry muffin. A true delight to the senses as the musician's instruments and voices blended together to form an amalgam of fantastical enchantment. Each musician brought his special talent to the stage, and combined, they delivered pure perfection. The band did take a 15 minute break at about one hour into the show. "4.5 stars rounded up. I have been coming here for a few years now, they are easy to access off Shenandoah Road in Amador County. Unpretentious with its friendly service, what brings me here is their chardonnay. I swear it is one of the best in the area. The combination of local (Clarksburg) and Mendocino area grapes create a well-balanced blend with a hint of malolactic fermentation due to aging in oak barrels. The tasting room is a rustic building with lots of counter space as well as plenty of outdoor seating. There is an area for picnics and plenty of tables. Whenever I have out of town visitors, I take them here for wine tasting as well as a few other favorites!"

"We tried the Cornerstone Cafe & Bar (J Street) for lunch yesterday. This was our first experience eating there. It was lunch time but not busy ... maybe 8 other folks having lunch. My hunch is business picks up significantly in the evening. Nice, but low key, bar atmosphere. Service was very good.Our order consisted of their soup of the day and two salads. The soup was Beef Vegetable. A little short on beef but hardy and good ... house made. I also enjoyed my Shrimp Louie - Bed of fresh greens topped with bay shrimp, avocado, hard boiled egg, tomatoes, cucumber slices and paprika. Generous amount of tasty shrimp.The other salad was Tuna. It too included a bed of fresh greens with hardboiled egg, tomato and cucumber slices and topped with homemade tuna salad.Very reasonable prices. This was a good experience"

"We were recommended to come here while staying at a near by hotel. The Rock-N-Tots are to die for. I have thought about them a million times since leaving. When you arrive, you've walked past the charming Folsom area. We were greeting with a lovely smile from a host. We were given the option of outside surrounded by heaters, or inside. We opt for outside. It was comfortable. We tried a drink recommended as it's a qualifier for a Johnny Cash event. Did not like it. We ordered a steak sandwich, amazing- did not like the side salad... and a cheeseburger, I did not try. The tator tots were cooked to perfection. Crispy, laid over a jalapeno Mac n cheese that had the perfect amount of spice, topped with some pulled pork and Chipotle Plank Sauce, and Green onions that again.... Where to die for. We will most definitely return."

"So typically when you get cake/cupcakes that are this beautiful...they don't usually taste amazing. That is not the case here. These cupcakes are absolutely delicious and STUNNING. The woman who helped us, I am assuming was the owner, was very patient because I couldn't decide between flavor or aesthetics lol I ended up getting both because I needed to know if they tasted as good as they looked. Now...$6.50 seems steep for a cupcake, but when you see these floral cupcakes, you can see allllllll the time and detail that went into them. They are worth it.I can't wait to place a custom order here!"

"Excellent!!I live the ice scream is really good We did buy cheeseburger and it was delicious I took a picture of it but it was not good so next time which is next week we are going back again. The service was awesome. The waiter was awesome and checked on us not only him but a waitress but she seem like a manager very attentive making sure if we were doing good. Which I love that. The store the ambiance is the same nothing has changed it does get crowded and load which is ok. An update wouldn't hurt. Is the same all these years my husband and I been going. Do I recommend this place, absolutely!!"

"Food Poisoning - my wife went to this restaurant, got a burger, ate half of it to find the paper that separates the burger patties in the packaging and the freshness pack was a couple of her toppings. She had ate half the paper and now she is suffering...They took it off the bill, but no one from management even came to say sorry. My wife is currently sitting here with stomach issues and back n forth to the restroom. Avoid this place, their cooks are reckless, careless and obviously do not care about quality or the safety of their customers...and employees & management obviously does not care either."

"The owners are helpful in getting people started with axe throwing. We had a group of six 17-year olds, most of them I would guess had never held an axe (think: city slickers). But the owners explained everything and the kids were having fun in no time. This place is the real deal with friendly folks and a homey atmosphere. It's a place you want to go back to (think: Cheers). They have beer on tap, darts are free to play, and everything is casual and fun. Easy parking."

"We went up to Sutter Creek today for a family outing. I checked the Yelp reviews yesterday and came up with 6 lunch options. We had 6 Adults and a pair of grandkids and I guessed some restaurants weren't going to have a big table for all of us. This place looked fine though.Corina and I split a Pastrami Reuben on sourdough. They served us on two plates and each of us got one of their yummy dill spears. The 1/2 sandwich was the perfect size for each of us and they were great tasting. I had a cup of delicious clam chowder on the side and an Amador Dirty Blonde ale that was pretty tasty. I need to find a source for that down here in Elk Grove. We will come back here again."

"We had dinner for 13 last night from China House in Citrus Heights. We have been eating here or ordering out from here since 2013 or 2014. We have never been disappointed. "I go here so often, yet I'm finally reviewing. This is definitely a must-go to restaurant.The food is so good here! I'm no expert in Thai and Laotian food, but the food is incredibly flavorful, so fresh.The owners are incredibly hospitable. The woman would check in on us throughout our meal to make sure everything was ok, and she was so thoughtful. She saw that we were sharing multiple dishes, and brought out extra utensils for each dish.Basically, I feel like I'm working my way down their menu. So far, there is not a single "bad" dish. My favorite dishes from here are their papaya salad (both Thai and Lao styles), pad see ew, kaopoon, nam khao. Their kaopoon is very generously sized. Be prepared to share it. For today, we got the basil fried rice. I think I would love a little bit more char to the fried rice, but it was very flavorful, and has a good balance of ingredients (meat, basil, onions). We got "2" for spice, and it was an enjoyable amount of spice.Pad kee mao: I love that the noodles seem to be cut to various sizes and not a single size (I especially enjoy the large pieces of noodles). You can adjust the spice on this. We got "2" for spice, but I think it could use a little bit more spice, personally.Lao style papaya salad: Has a little bit more of a fishy taste. Cabbage for this dish is always so fresh. We added Thai eggplant, and it reminded me of cucumbers. It was so good. We got "2" for spice and it was pretty spicy...probably because the spice is swimming in the sauce is my guess.We got Thai coffee. I would enjoy it a bit more if it was a bit stronger in coffee taste and less sweet, but perhaps that is the style.I'm already craving going back even though I was just there!"

"Looking for something a little different so decided to give this place a try. Quite an interesting vibe with this place. It wraps around a corner with a front and side entrance but still able to fit ample seating. The service was good and no frills. They took my order and it was pretty quick all things considered. We were the only people in at the time so your mileage may vary.What really made this a great choice was the food. I decided to try out the Nasharito (not on the menu), was an interesting and awesome tasting sandwich. I expected a mess but it was well made and all the ingredients actually worked pretty well. The Mac and cheese was really a highlight. Only issue is that the medium is not really hot at all. I recommend atleast the hot if you enjoy the heat.Everyone else loved their food and definitely have this place on my must visit again list!"

They have monthly pop ups in the parking lot and are starting movie nights in the summer! Extremely friendly, kind and helpful staff. The ambiance is a vibe! Must see spot when you are in the area! The store has so many other small business makers as well! They are supporting the art community! Come check out handmade goods, clothes, and lots of art!
