Came across this restaurant after drinks at the Damond Knott taphouse. Was a little worried walking in this place. However, after the staff served us water, chips, and salsa. Then, they took our order. We became comfortable. The servers and service were spot on. Our dishes were delicious. We ordered tacos, enchiladas, and burritos. We met the owner. Nice guy, I thought the place was run very well. Very professional. The restaurant is a perfect spot for an area mexican restaurant. I will certainly be back. Next visit, I will order the Chili Colorado dish. That looked good.

Nice people, not so great food. Had tacos, nachos and quesadilla. Ground beef was like the Jack in the box mystery meat variety. Nachos were covered with cheese, but just mediocre. Quesadilla was Meh. Ordered a side of flour tortillas and they were the highlight of the meal. Sorry folks, but this is the kind of place you go to once and only go back after you forget why you didn't like it last time.

My husband and I really enjoyed the food and service here! Very accommodating for gluten free options. Our waiter offered to switch out the regular enchilada sauce for one that does not contain flour, and it was great! We always appreciate the tortilla chips and salsa at the beginning of a meal. My husband loved the pollo a la crema.

I have been going to this restaurant for lunch breaks at work, and with friends, the past 2 to 3 years straight. It is one of my favorite local spots, the food is excellent, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff are personable and wonderful. Ruben works really hard as the owner, and takes great care of the staff. During the Covid crisis, he has committed to keeping all of his servers on staff, even though he had to reduce hours slightly. He recognizes and values their hard work, loyalty, dedication, and the fact that training new people would be more of a headache than the extra expense of keeping his well-trained, loyal staff on payroll.As a Boeing employee, I encourage all of my fellow Boeing employees to order takeout, delivery, and din-in with this restaurant to support them during this difficult time. They will take great care of you.Support your local businesses, and go eat at Sabor a Mexico!!!

Awful. Just awful. I am in disbelief this place has 4 stars. I ordered a 2 taco combo plate with beef. It came with a Ortega shell from Safeway and ground beef unflavored. Oh and it came with one taco for the price of 18 dollars! I ordered a been and cheese burrito. They gave me a flat tortilla will a little bean on it and like warm salsa on it. It looked like an enchilada not a burrito. I ordered a carne asada burrito. I assumed most burritos are at the most 10-15 bucks. They asked 25 dollars for a burrito. Veey little meat and no better than Taco Bell. I am in shock how horrible of an excuse for Mexican food this place is. The bar must be very low in mukilteo.

3 stars in an awesome everyday way! Solid authentic Mexican food, small business owner since 2005 that I would come back to if I lived closer. Want to try more items off the menu. * I would pass on ground beef, nothing special. Chicken- shredded breast meat that is moist. * generous with the complimentary chips and salsa. Location- small strip mall that has parking. Service- met the owner, he took my order and delivered our food. Real nice guy! Ambiance- modest, homey, small business feel I admire. Value- GOOD! Recommend- YES!!
