S3 Coffee Bar

I have been on a quest to try the local coffee shops in Escondido.Today I ordered the vanilla lavender latte and because it looked yummy I also picked up a slice of the chocolate chip banana bread.Well, let me tell you, they were both delicious! If you don't know what to order, order this! I am somewhat picky about banana bread, and this was my second favorite. My first fav is on the Island of Maui.. so this is the best on continent! And I have tried many. The coffee. Well. Top of the line. Gold star. Amazing. Yes! Yes! Yes! Favor spot on. Temperature- perfect. And let's talk latte art. This is some of the charm of small businesses and artisans. This coffee artist made latte art .... Of my dog!!! The decor is comfy. Like a place I'd love to bring a gal pal and catch up, or bring my lap top or sketc and do some creative work. They have two couches. 2-3 4 top round tables, and a bunch of 2 top tables. With chill coffee house music. Pro Tip-The parking in the rear alley is a wee mis leading. Just park on the street. It's way easier!!Shop, Savor, and Sip Local.

Surprised to find such an aesthetic cafe when we visited Escondido! Their menu is so unique so I had to try the Rose Gold Tea Latte. A bit on the sweet side but it tastes like a rose milk tea mixed with chai. Not to mention there's real gold flakes and rose petals on it. How cute!The service was so speedy! Our barista was making our drinks the moment the cashier placed the order so we had basically no wait. Such a nice place to relax and enjoy your drinks.

I had the Lavender London Fog Iced Latte. Very good!My friend had the Iced Mexican mocha which she also highly recommended.The baristas are very nice and friendly. The coffee shop itself is very cute and modern.I highly recommend checking it out.

Came here to work out of and the vibe is great. The music isn't too loud. The AC is so nice since it's hot outside. And the coffee and tea is great! I got the ceremonial matcha this time and it was great. The employee talked to me about how it has more antioxidants than the regular matcha and that was so kind of them. Great customer service.

So happy S3 Coffee Bar opened up their 2nd location and it's much closer to me as I'm in Valley Center!Love the barista there, she's been so inviting and sweet!Layout is completely different from their OG location, the Escondido one is more modern but comfy and spacious place!I love their Tiramisu Latte, one of my seasonal favorites (and they still have it at the Escondido location, you have to ask as it's not on the menu) I tried their new seasonal Summer drink and it was beautiful and delicious, Butterfly Matcha!

I've always had excellent service at S3 Coffee Bar, but today I was blown-out-of-the-water-IMPRESSED. I had accidentally scheduled a 1pm coffee date with a friend, without knowing they closed at that time, I called frantically seeing if I could place an order (I was set to arrive at 12:57pm). Thankfully, Rob, from the kindness of his heart took my order, despite it not being customary for them to do that! I'M OBSESSED WITH THEIR CHAI LATTES and I was ecstatic to know that I was well taken care of. Please remind me to give a FAT tip next time. There's nothing worst than ordering a cup of coffee that doesn't suit your craving. S3 never disappoints. S3 always exceeds expectations! Thank you, Rob. Thank you, Staff. Thank you, S3.

Cute newer coffee/tea place on Grand Avenue! It is quiet inside, so beautiful and clean, and a perfect place to relax, work, or have a photo opp! They have beautiful mid-century modern tables, chairs, and couches inside, as well as merch such as tote bags and shirts. I met the owner today and she is such a sweet human! POC owned, LGBT friendly. There are no specific wheelchair accessible parking spots outside, just regular street parking, and no ramp in front to get to the building, other than at nearby intersections.

Trendy coffee shop on the East end of Grand Street. Service is great, very friendly staff. They have breads, bagels, cookies, and a small assortment of pastries. The place was beautifully remodeled. Unfortunately there is only one table with a four pack of outlets. They have two very comfortable couches, and five tables with padded chairs. There are an additional four (very small) tables along the East wall with very uncomfortable metal chairs (unfortunately this is where that four pack of electrical outlets are). Five stars for a beautiful store, friendly staff, and great coffee.

Great service, food, and atmosphere. The location is great as well. I loved the chocolate banana bread.
