We have been by here so many times, I am so happy we finally went inside! The staff here was all so helpful and friendly. My husband and I were the lone diners at a teppanyaki table (we loved it!) and they still put on a fun show and served up excellent food. I will forever cheer for any and all flaming food items.The prices are reasonable, we will definitely be back.

We were celebrating my birthday and heard rave reviews about Ryu on the Go Gilbert Facebook Page. We were very excited to try it out. The ambiance is typical for a Teppanyaki restaurant. Upscale, but not very formal. It was very hot inside, likely from the griddles. Our main issue was that we waited over an hour to geta chef for our table. There was only one chef at the time and he was just starting a separate table when we arrived.The soup and salad were incredibly small portions. They were really good but we were still starving waiting for our main courses. Our chef was an older man, who was very friendly and entertaining. I ordered the Filet and Scallops, and my mom ordered the Filet and Chicken. Each entree comes with fried rice, vegetables and 2 shrimp, along with 2dipping sauces. Everything was really good, especially the shrimp. The steak and scallops were nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly.I really liked our chef and the food he made, but I cannot give 5 stars due to the ridiculous wait time. I would definitely come back, but in hopes that it wouldn't be a 3 hour long ordeal.

Hubby & I had dinner here tonight. We didn't have a reservation, but got lucky & got seated. Great service, excellent food and Kris was very entertaining. I tried an Asian sangria & hubby had a beer. My drink was good, but nothing like my typical red sangria. We ordered the Vegas roll. It was good & had lots of crab. Hubby ordered the filet & salmon. I had the filet & shrimp. We both got fried rice. The shrimp was delicious and large. The steaks were excellent and so tender.I really liked the soup. I loved that they used garlic powder in the food. This will definitely be our go to place for teppanyaki. We will be back. We have tried all the teppanyaki places near us, and this is the best!

This is one of my favorite places for Sushi and Teppan. Service is good especially the Teppan chefs, always funny! It can get busy so make a reservation or go early. Cute little sushi bar, full cooked menu, and Teppan. Something for everyone!

Placed an order on a food app. Food was ready in no time, granted it was when it opened up. Came in and asked for my order. Let me say, the lunch sushi rolls were very filling! I got the salmon and spicy tuna rolls-each order has 8 pieces. I also ordered the calamari appetizer. Everything was delicious. My only complaint is the calamari was more than the sushi rolls! It was about $15 for 6 bites! Parking might be tight especially on the busier days. Service was good. I'd come back again for the rolls but not the appetizers.

Really love this place & have been several times. Last time the woman working made several off menu recommendations that were amazing! The other day I went for lunch and ate one of the specials that had tempura shrimp, spicy crab, topped with tuna & eel. I also love that they have fresh wasabi!

We stopped here for dinner the other day.The restaurant is clean in the services outstanding. We ordered three of the dinners. We got a sushi roll and one person ordered a glass of wine. I had iced tea.The chef did a nice job of cooking for us. The food was delicious.I will say this is not an inexpensive place to eat. Our bill for three people with one glass of wine and a nice tea was over $150 with tip.I almost gave them three Stars based on the cost of the meal but decided to give them a four because everyone there was working so hard and so pleasant.Hi Mike go back for sushi but I think one time for the teppanyaki was enough.
