Food is good BUT they are sooooooooooo slow - with take out or dine in. We at there and mentioned this to the manager and he said "45 min wait for dinner once seated is normal". for burgers and fries??? The ratio of the kitchen to their seating really should be addressed. We just don't go there anymore unless we wanna just sit around and drink for a while before we eat - also the way the restaurants laid out there's nothing to even look at while you wait for your food. If you're in that weird big dining room you're just staring at the other people waiting for their food. It's super awkward.

What an interesting place! It's located at a perfect spot in Lynden, and the inside is very campy and cute. Definitely a great place for family, and the prices were also good as someone eating with only one other person!My fish and fries were great, I especially appreciated the homefry feel of them. The zickles (fried pickles with a spicy sauce) were an awesome appetizer that I couldn't get enough of. My mom had her taco salad turned into a wrap with a side of dutch meatball soup, and enjoyed both! If you're looking for well priced, filling food while in downtown Lynden, especially if you have a large group, I recommend!

Definitely not our kind of place. The fish and chips was greasy and excessively breaded. Both my wife and I pealed some the crispy batter off the fish and thought the fish tasted freezer burned and mushy...plus it tasted like the batter had potato starch added to it. The fresh fries were crispy but also were most definitely dumped from a bag found in the freezer. Fresh made fries from cut potatoes are most definitely easy to identify by their fresh taste. The prawns tasted better than the fish. We won't be back.

Decor and ambience are quite nice. sometimes we get the same server that dosen't seem to like us that much, maybe i'm mistaken and she just keeps having bad days. The food, for the most part is good. I wouldn't say out of this world or anything but definitely good. To reiterate, MOST of the food is good. MOST. One absolute unholy abomination called the 'Monte Cristo' should be wiped from the menu and subsequently, the planet. The menu description is misleading and lures you into a false sense of security thinking you will be getting a nice savory lunch sandwich (as it is under the lunch menu), however that is how they lure you in to dash your hopes and dreams. The blaspheme of a sandwich is served on French toast(???) powdered sugar, with cheddar, Swiss, ham, and turkey with a side of jam. I believe you are supposed to dip the sandwich in the jam and presumably enjoy. This would be great if it tasted anything better than store bought bar S cold cuts and the attitude from the waitress that i somehow have every-time I come in. In conclusion unless you enjoy paying trumped up prices for a revolting excuse for a sandwich or are simply a masochist, you'd be better off ordering, quite literally, anything else. 3 stars.

Really good spot. Portions are generous and wait staff are friendly. I've gone there for both breakfast and dinner and always left full. The prices are reasonable too.

I have been here many times and have tried a number of items on the menu, never disappointed. Sandwiches, fish & tots, ribs and the flatbread are all very good. The new addition of the patio just in time for summer has been great. Service here is never disappointing.

Unlike most other restaurants, they have not really raised their prices since the pandemic. The food and service is good. Pro tip: if you want medium rare steak, ask for rare and often the medium rare will come out medium if not well done. They'll make a new steak but just ask for rare.

Our family reunion this year brought us to Blaine, WA, where we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. While each and every dish we ordered was excellent, it was the friendliness and efficiency of the staff that brought us back five times during our one-week stay. Be sure to leave room for dessert! Soooo yummy.

Quick service, great food & good prices. Love all the decor, environment. Will definitely be back again.

2 stars for the cute decor. But the restaurant was cold, the benches were hard and at some distance from the table so I could not reach the food except by sitting so far forward I was sitting half on air. We waited 45 min to eat. We were about to leave $5 on the table for the tea and run but suddenly the food came. It was all right.
