I am a vegetarian, so that you know. The is just one main dish that is vegetarian, and it was the English pea rizzotto. So creamy and savory with the carrots and green beans with a buttery saltiness and the earthiness of fennel. That dish in itself is worth the visit.Next time, I would pair a salad with a bit more citrus in it as I had a special heirloom tomato ricotta, which was nice and light and earthy. The broccolini had a palette cleansing effect, so very nice after the rizzotto. The Madagascar vanilla ice cream was so different it made me wonder if all vanilla ice cream is supposed to be that way. Overall, I could not rate this place better for the above dishes and service our our waiter Curtis. I can see why it was #1 on TripAdvisor.

Came for Arizona restaurant week and their 3 course meal. We came early on Friday before the place filled and most certainly it was popular and looks like there are some regulars based on the great service and smiles from the waiter as the places filled up. When we were seated we asked to be moved from a really dark table. We were told the adjacent table wasn't available as it was going to be combined to a table of six, so we got our dark table. Later another couple came maybe an hour later, never saw them combine the tables, maybe it was just us they didn't like us non regulars .... Seemed to carry over thru the dinner. I can say our waiter was totally ambivalent to us as well never really smiled and was so could care less attitude. The food was presented as well as tasty four stars. The amblivant waiter and perception of biased treatment made for a disappointing experience.

Make a reservation would be my suggestion. This place was pretty busy on SaturdayOverall I was not in awe of the food. It was pleasant, but not next levelWe started out with the short rib and goat cheese stuffed medjool dates. These were so bland. Not one flavour stood out. The bacon didn't even pop out.Roasted beets with citrus, frisée and Amish blue cheese was good. Loved the citrus taste that snuck in and pleasantly surprised. The roasted chicken, Parmesan and yellow grits with charred broccolini. The chicken was moist and not dried out. This was a bonus. What was yummy about this dish were the yellow grits with Parmesan. I would have eaten more of this. The broccolini detracted from the plate as the charring just created a burnt tasting vegetable. Pork shank with fingerling potatoes and carrots was a hit. The pork had excellent flavour and was not dryThe service was as expected.

My friend and I have been here a few times now. Again, absolutely loving this place. This time, we met friends here. We were a party of 4, for a 6:00 p.m. Friday dinner. I made the reservation on Open Table and requested to be seated more in the front area. When we arrived it was so nice to see my request was honored. The restaurant was bustling with people at both bar and tables.Our server Kristin was fabulous, friendly and very attentive, giving us time to catch-up in conversation and not rushing us. We ordered cocktail while deciding on what to order. Appetizers ordered were the Charred Baby Octopus, Pan Roasted Gulf Shrimp, Roasted Beets with Citrus Frisée and Amish Blue Cheese salad and the Roasted Cremini Mushroom Bisque. All the appetizers were fantastic. I had the Baby Octopus, charred and cooked perfectly. Entrees ordered were Maple Leaf Farms Breast of Duck, Butternut Squash Risotto, Grilled Sustainable Salmon and Mussels. All the dishes came out looking wonderful and tasting great! Cheers to another wonderful evening at Rusconi's.

Yum! What a delicious meal - I'm still thinking about the dates stuffed with short rib and goat cheese. Our group all enjoyed their choices; watermelon salad, mussels, scallops, beef tenderloin - delicious!Ashton was great with suggestions & tempting us with desserts to try to finish the night. So, here's the scoop: Rusconi's Kitchen has been our go-to spot for date nights for years, and honestly, it's always a winner. Our go-to? The beef tenderloin medallions--seriously, they're delicious. Cooked to perfection every single time, and every bite is like a party in your mouth. The atmosphere at Rusconi's is just right, you know? Perfect for dinner dates. And hey, if you're looking to impress your date without going overboard, this is the spot. It's kinda cool how the plaza vibe outside doesn't really match the cozy atmosphere inside--adds a little something extra, if you ask me. Oh, and about brunch? Yeah, it's on our to-do list. Can't wait to give it a shot!

We visited for the first time (4 of us) and it will definitely not be the last! Far exceeded our expectations. We were fortunate to have been seated right by the kitchen where chef Michael personally touched every pate before it was served. Since it was our first time, he made us a small watermelon sort of gazpacho. Winner! Then we had the tomato burrata salad - exceptional! Entrees included the pork loin, scallops and mussels and each was better than the last. We even had dessert and the ice cream sampler (dark chocolate blueberry!) was totally worth the calories. The service was great...every single person was pleasant and engaged. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you!!
