I and my coworkers had a great lunch here. Food tastes great. Service was great too. One of us waited extra 10 minutes for the main course and we got a complimentary salad.Food is in large portions so you'll probably finish with a full belly.

Went to dinner at Rumi's with a friend when in Atlanta for work last month. Amazing! Wish I could go back with a larger group so we could try even more items and not be overstuffed and leave with more food than we ate! It's a bit loud, so know that before you go - if you're trying to have an intimate conversation it's not really possible. But the food is incredible! While our wonderful server suggested we limit ourselves to a few small plates (tastes) to share, we couldn't resist and ordered:roasted crimini & oyster mushroom hummus- 5*/5 - I could seriously eat this all day/night. I love mushrooms and this was not mushed up mushrooms made into hummus (I was thinking like edamame hummus). This is wonderfully roasted variety of sliced mushrooms atop a bed of delicious chickpea hummus with more pita bread than you could use. Yay for your mouth!corn ribs - 5*/5, messy, had to eat with my fingers, but so delish!crispy potatoes with radicchio - 5/5 - nice crusty pieces of potatogrilled vegetables - 5/5 - excellentlamb kebob - 5/5 - I think we got like 8 - 10 large chunks of lamb, seasoned perfectly - and had like 6 pieces leftover!Yogurt duo - 5/5 - this was delivered by another server to our table by accident so we got to keep it :) one was a cucumber garlic yogurt, one was a sundried shallot yogurt - couldn't decide which one was better so went back and forth!Next time I'm in Atlanta I will make sure Rumi's is on my list!

I'm so glad we finally made it to a Rumi's Kitchen! I've heard from so many that we should try it and have read many wonderful reviews. I'm happy to report that it lives up to the hype! We absolutely loved and devoured all of the appetizers we ordered. We had corn ribs, roasted cauliflower, and hummus with roasted crimini & oyster mushrooms. They were all so flavorful that I can't even pick a favorite. For my main, I selected chicken kabob and my husband picked lamb rack. The main dishes were good but at that point we were so stuffed we had to pack it up to go.

It pains me to write this. I usually would give Rumi's a 5 star rating. I've gone three times in the past. Once to the Roswell Rd location, once to Alpharetta and lastly to Colony Square. I decided to return to colony square location last night as it was my favorite of them all. It was horrible this time Last time I went I sat outside with my man and we had the most flavorful, delicious meal ever. I couldn't remember exactly what I had but I do remember it came with grilled red onion and some green peppers. It was a type of steak. The bomb!!I went last night June, our waiter was great but the seating was awful. It was in the corner, small, cramped and the small round table couldn't even hold our food comfortably. There was no steak and chicken kabob combo so I ordered both entrees. The steak he stated was his fave was nasty. It was the pomegranate one. The chicken was dry and flavorless, the rice was dry and flavorless. The grilled onions were burnt and dry and flavorless. My daughter enjoyed her salmon tremendously. But, I truly hated my whole meal. It was just dry and flavorless. I guess I'll reheat as leftovers adding butter and salt. I won't go back as I felt this was a total waste of $150.00. Also, we came as walk ins around 7:30 and the hostess seemed rude about us not liking the small seating available. I understand we were walk ins but the 2 hostess just weren't giving off a friendly vide. One had on a black leather Jackie with a bun and the other a cream sweater. Overall, this experience was totally opposite of the one I had this summer. Then, the food was just sooooooo good. The meat was a flavor explosion in your mouth and those shared veggies on the side were so good me and my fiancé were fighting to see who could eat them fast enough. I truly know this place can be a 5 star but last night was just a bust. I gave 2 stars simply because June was so nice. Probably would return but it'll take a while to forget this bland experience.

With the modern decor and the convivial ambiance, I think this location of Rumi's at Colony Square is the best by far. It gives an old nod Persia. If you're looking for unique flavors with fresh ingredients in each dish, Rumi's does not disappoint. The service is prompt and professional. The food is always consistent in taste and quality. The menu selections range from Kabobs, Lamb, Sea bass, and salmon. scallops, and many vegetarian dishes. I love the Lamb Merguez AMAZING! The corn ribs with the black seed dukkah with jalapeño butter excellent. I could go on and on, but if you love Middle Eastern dishes and haven't tried Rumi's yet, you're doing yourself a disservice. They have two other locations in ATL Sandy Springs and Alpharetta. It's definitely a must try.FYI: They have complimentary valet parking for 2hrs.

Can I tell you that the food was amazing but our server was even better? The best service I got here in GA.The gentleman knew everything about every dish, he was very attentive and he made sure all of the food was vegan for my boyfriend. The ambiance was chill relaxing and very calm. I loved it. We had an amazing lunch.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience dining here. The restaurant is very big and beautifully decorated. It is located at Colony Square in a lively part of Midtown. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. Portions are quite large so you will be satisfied. Came during a week night for dinner and the restaurant was quite busy and lively.

Hands down my favorite Persian restaurant in Atlanta! Honestly speaking, I've eaten at a lot in ATL and this is the best. All of their food tastes so good. The lamb kabob and their mushroom hummus tastes heavenly. So much flavor it makes you want to keep eating past being full. The restaurant is dim lit which could be nice for date nights with your girls or SO.

Rumi's is an Atlanta staple for me every time I visit! Persian food has grown on me since the first time I visited and this restaurant and staff do a wonderful job explaining different dishes and pairings. The restaurant has an elegant fine dining feel to hit while also making you feel very comfortable! My favorite entree is the lamb kebab! The lamb is cooked medium with a little pink in the middle but very juicy and tender. I always start with the oyster mushroom and salmon hummus which I eat with the fresh pita bread and pairings that come when you sit down at your table. I highly suggest picking a few meats and sharing them with others!
