Rudy's Taco Shop

My favorite casual mexican food spot that always hits the mark. They have a really big menu and do all of the classics very very well. I love that they have a salsa bar and that it's always well stocked. I've done both dine in and take out and service is always great and food is ready when expected if not early.

Perfect spot I come every year on opening day for Del Mar Horse racing Great Carne Asada , chicken Burritos.The staff here always make sure that me and my crew get taken care of. The parking I will say is very small and tight.Come through and check this place out You'll be glad you did

Rudy's has ruined all other breakfast burritos. Others just don't stand a chance after Rudy's bud and if you disagree you voted for Biden and are the reason for the decline of our people. I can't really comment on any of their other food. Once you get the breakfast burrito (doesn't matter what time it is) you just feel it in the plums. Also best salsa out there and very little porridge aftermath to speak of. North County SD burrito rankings: 1. Rudys bfast burrito 2. Pavlos (aka Rico's) justin burrito3. La Perla California burritoAlso just get the regular bfast burrito here it comes with bacon. Have some respect and don't get asada or chorizo or whatever it's mid. Too many of my possibly inbred OC friends will come to Rudy's and F this part up.

Great Chorizo - I think their tortillas and Chorizo are made in-house. We had two breakfast burritos from here over the course of a 4 day vacation, and a California burrito for the drive back to SF! Great California burrito as well, I might add! Delicious chips and salsa, and a check-cashing window at the back of the restaurant - This place has it all! lol

A friend recommended this place for good burritos. I guess I should of ordered a burrito instead of a tostada. It really did not hit the spot. It was vegetarian so maybe that was my downfall. The chips and guacamole were ok and they did not have great hot sauce. The wifey did order the burrito and was happy and the young one had a tostada and was happy saying it was good. I think this place is probably better than a 3 so I would give it a try. I just read this to the wifey and she gave me side eye when I only gave it a 3 and I am a gringo. The lady at the register was super nice. Local hot spot so I would check it out for your own taste buds.

If you're looking for a place and you're craving a taco,a beer, Mexican soccer and you need to send money to your love ones in Mexico, go no further than Rudy's taco shop in Solana Beach. Not only can you get a huge menu with tacos and burritos there is also breakfast menu delights. While on lunch you can also get your favorite beers in the refrigerator or on tap! Watch soccer while throwing down some shrimp tacos, and a cold brew ! And if you need to send money to love ones, there is a Ria Envia inside! Enjoy!

This was my favorite breakfast spot! Fast service and great food. Really authentic experience. Highly recommend. I've tried the carne asada breakfast burrito, cali burrito, chips and guacamole, and al pastor taco.

Met up with some friends here who frequent Rudy's Tacos and love it. Well, I'm glad they showed us this place because it was awesome. It's a small casual restaurant where you order at the cashier, and then they call your name when your food is ready. There is seating inside and outside. Not a lot of seating, but decent. Good customer service, and they cooked the food pretty fast. They have a TV inside and at the time everyone was watching a soccer game. We sat outside on the patio. There is a window leading to the outside where they give you your food. They also have a salsa bar inside. Now, onto the food. I ordered the Birria Tacos, and they were so good! I would definitely order them again. I can't recall what everyone else got, but they were happy with it. The chips and guacamole are good too!

2nd time tried again recently. since the owner changed not the same. Ordered food to go there and it was cold and nothing was on it that was described on menu. It just wasn't good beyond being cold. It definitely did not seem fresh or freshly made tasted like prepackaged meat/ingredients

Loved finding potato taquitos! Ordered extra Guac... SO spicy (is it always this spicy?!?). Had to scrape off the Guac. Inedible due to spiciness.
