We came in on Saturday at 2:00 in the afternoon for a chill bite. We were craving our local greasy spoon. Our order was pretty straightforward-got a coffee and a hamburger with fries. So simple, and so good. Their food is good and our food was fresh. We were able to sit for a bit and be comfortable. Our waitress ROCKED-she was so professional and also creative-we loved the art that she shared with us. I love Rubattino's!

Absolutely the best breakfast deal in Renton! This morning I had their Denver Omelet with hash browns and a homemade biscuit. Everything was perfectly done, huge portions, and great service! The prices are also amazing compared to most these days. I definitely recommend them and I'll be back soon!

Yup... should have listened to the server when she said it wasn't the usual cook and stuck with just the coffee. Well 2 over easy eggs and 1/2 order of biscuits and sausage gravy lead to 24 hours of food poisoning so far.

Crave-worthy hash browns and VIP toast! This hidden gem is your new brunch BFF. Ditch the chain restaurants and dive into this charming hole-in-the-wall breakfast joint. The diner vibes are real, the prices are wallet-friendly, and the portions are king-size. But the real hero here is the hash browns: crispy, fluffy edges with a perfectly soft center. Every. Single. Time. And can we talk about the buttered toast? Like, buttery perfection. Seriously, who butters your toast anymore? These guys get it. It's the little things, right? This spot is my go-to brunch haven, but it's definitely underrated. Spread the word! You won't regret it.

Really love a great diner! I was hoping this would be one as we walked in, and I saw the line of motorcycles out front. (always a good sign, imho) Sadly, I think the reason the bikers like it so much is because it's frequently empty and they get top service, to the detriment of other customers. There were two waitstaff, two people sitting at the counter, our table of 4 and the group of bikers in the front. We waited about 15 minutes to get menus, more to have our order taken, and then almost 30 minutes to get our food! When we entered, the bikers were waiting on food. They finished their food and had more coffee, while we waited!!Not sure what the deal was? Why did our food take so long? Where did the waitstaff go? How come there was only about 5 cans of Shasta brand soda in the cooler? And, actually, why did we stay and wait?!All very good questions!

A little hard to tell this place even exists but I'm glad I stopped by. Value for this place is amazing. Waffles were so fluffy and great. The omelet was also delicious. Definitely would come back.

Popped in for breakfast while waiting for the amazing 4 Sisters holistic shop to open....So glad I did!A step back in time. And I liked it. A lot. No pretentiousness here. Food from my childhood and great "old-fashioned" kindness. Yes. Please!Immediately was pleasantly greeted with a friendly welcome. This is important to me.Ordered a B Mary and French toast. Great prices and yummy food!!! Served with smiles and attentive service! Best I've had in a looong time!Michelle (hoping I spelled your name correctly , I apologize in advance if not) is amazing!!! Friendly, attentive, great!!!Coming back perhaps tomorrow to try Michelle's suggestion of biscuits and gravy! Please support this business, here since late 70's!Not your go-to health food restaurant... I'll have my kale smoothie at home and love my nostalgic breakfast here!

Funny enough, when I did a search for Renton Breakfast when this place came up I was shocked, I've been passing it for decades and honestly thought it was closed or abandoned. Turns out I was wrong and the place has been open for more than 100 years. Doesn't look like it's been updated in about 50, but it's clean and tidy. Currently this place has a Yelp rating of 3.7. I'm giving it a 3, because Yelp doesn't allow half stars and 4 would be far to generous in my opinion. Ask me, this could be the hottest place in town for breakfast, but they would need to make some changes. The outsides needs a makeover to make the place appear open. Better interior lighting might also give the impression something is going on inside. The menu was fine and pricing was much better than you would expect, but then again, breakfast is cheap we all know what potatoes and eggs cost. Service was friendly, but a little slow based on the lack of business. I had an omelette. Unfortunately, it was served like the photos, brown. I don't like browned eggs and the key to a fluffy omelette is not overcooking it. It was also way too cheese for my taste, that said, the cheese is on my, I know some people like extra cheese, but I assumed I'd have some cheese inside, but having it inside and on the top was too much for me. The potatoes looked amazing, but tasted like an unseasoned griddle. They need to add some butter to the oil mix to make the browns golden and infuse them with some extra flavor. The icing on the cake was the bill, when I got it, I knew something was off, then on exit, I saw a sign that said, all credit and debit transactions will receive a $1 fee. That is beyond tacky. Even teriyaki spots will charge you $.50 for transactions less than $10, but this is full service and if you decide to raise your prices $.50 per item, then you don't have to suckerpucnch people with a penalty fee. I'm sad, because I think this place could be a gem in the right hands, but for know, they are most like the oldest eatery no one knows about. If you build it, they will come. Improve your cooking techniques, dump the hidden fees and make the place warm, bright and welcome inside. Check out Lil Johns in Bellevue, they have the blueprint for what this place could be.

In an area that has outrageous prices for food, Rubattino's will treat all with an affordable meal. It might look like it's a run down business, but with being around for almost 100 years, it isn't a dump like some may think. It's good food reasonably priced in old town Renton.

I used to love this place their food is definitely good but I went there earlier today and discovered hair in my food, unfortunately I got to go boxes and didn't check my burger til I got home. I called and the bartender was very rude and acted like she couldn't help me ! I will be letting the health department know asap. Overall this is not a place for people of color ..
