Royal Unicorn

The Royal Unicorn has reopened this week under new Management. We live in the neighborhood and ate at the former once and did not enjoy it. Today, we had the Crispy Rice soup, Coconut Shrimp, and the Two Delights (similar to Mongolian beef, but with chicken). All three were 5 stars. The coconut shrimp is freshly made, the two Delights had a great meat to veggie ratio and the soup was perfect.Unlike the predecessor, we shall be back and we are fans.Per the owner, the bar will be open in a few weeks as well.

Exciting News! I just had the most amazing dining experience at the newly reopened restaurant "Royal Unicorn" under new ownership! They've got a brand new menu and talented chefs. Super Friendly stuff. The food was absolutely delicious! I couldn't resist trying their mouthwatering salt and pepper pork ribs, chicken lettuce wraps, crab cheese wontons, lumpia, and sweet and sour pork ribs. If you check in on Yelp, you'll get a fantastic 15% off your bill! Oh, and did I mention they have an upcoming bar opening? I can't wait to bring my friends along to enjoy their tantalizing cocktails once it's open. We never visited this restaurant before the new owners revamped it and we were skeptical. We took the kids yesterday and had a very enjoyable meal. Service was excellent and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The food was delicious- we had Kung Pao chicken, broccoli beef, and chicken chow mein. All were fresh, flavorful and most importantly- not greasy! I just ate my leftovers and enjoyed it all over agin. We will be regulars. This is the best Chinese food we've had in North Seattle.

We are very excited to have a new choice nearby. The food has been really good. I love sizzling rice soup, but not many places serve it, so I was very excited to have this available. Wonderful flavor. Also, you need to try the cucumber salad.

The Royal Unicorn re-opened with new owners. My husband and I visited the restaurant with our friends, and we ordered their recommended dishes such as shrimp with ginger sauce, sesame beef, hot & spicy pork ribs, they were allvery delicious and i would definitely recommend it. I am a huge fan of broccoli beef and their flavor is on point and generous portion.The family of the new owners were super kind, attentive and they ensured we have everything we need. Overall, i love the decorations of the restaurant and the amazing owners and staff made it so much better!

Under new management and it's awesome! Royal Unicorn is a wonderful little local establishment. If you're on the fence about where to get dinner I suggest you give it a try!

What a wonderful meal and service this evening. Huge turnaround from what it became over the years.Cleanest Chinese restaurant I've been in.Steamed pork buns, hot and sour soup, pork chow mien!! Mongolian beef also Excellent!!I had to order the shrimp egg foo young as it was our favorite back in the day (80's).It was a bit different but delicious.I will most certainly return from South Everett.

This restaurant was quite good. I had been meaning to visit for a few years and finally got around to it today. And that was because my intended restaurant is closed on Mondays. I got lettuce wrap with chicken. Fresh lettuce and fresh chicken filling. Needed a bit more flavor to the filling, but the hosian sauce was ok. I'm not big on sweets though, so I didn't use much sauce. I loved the light crunch on each bite. Really good.I also had the spicy chicken wings. It is my favorite Chinese dish to order when in the mood for chicken wings. This restaurant served up the best I have ever had. All but one of the wings were decent sized. Every one of them were tasty.The woman who served me was kind, prompt, and curious. When I asked her what she would recommend, she told me to "Review the menu because everything is good." I really would have appreciated some direction from her. But I chose well on my own. When I'm in town again, and if I am in the mood, for Chinese food, I'll be back.

I ordered several dishes for take-out & SPECIFICALLY said NO ONIONS in any of the dishes; said it more than just once. I added that I am DEATHLY allergic to onions; they will make me VERY sick. Got home & EVERY dish was FULL of onions. By the time I fished out all that poison, I had to heat it in the microwave & almost 1/2 of the food was onions. The food left, after removing the onions was mediocre at best. I will never order from this place again. They either don't listen or don't care.

Inside looks great, friendly service, and the Szechuan Beef was really good!Wondering if they still do karaoke... would be a fun spot again.
