Terrible. Who wraps a samosa like this??? The filing was good, but this is sooo wrong. Do better, please.
What I actually got (not paneer kadai)
Pistachio Milkshake
Grilled Shrimp Salad
Bug in food
Half filled samosa. Stop ripping people off.
Samosa. Lazy wrapping. This is just wrong.
C'mon Royal Punjab, you know better than to wrap a samosa like this. Disappointing.
Mango lassi top left - came wrapped in seran wrap to prevent spillage in takeout bag. Pista coconut naan and dal tadka on right

The food is great. It's reasonable, too. Slight wait so plan accordingly. Domenic Mcfarlin

Ordered takeout and was extremely disappointed. The pistachio milkshake was flavorful but was completely liquid and lukewarm in temperature despite picking up the order right when it was ready. The shrimp salad had very few shrimp, hardly any lettuce (and what was given was wilted), and a few other bland vegetables. Service was fast, seemed like very few people were ordering from here and dining room was empty on a Friday night. The staff also seemed unhappy so overall a bad sign for the ambiance.

I walked in for lunch and was told they only accept cash. It says on both Apple Maps as well as on Yelp that this restaurant accepts Apple Pay. I saw the Apple Pay terminal and credit card processing set up, but they insisted they only accept cash. I wasted a good amount of time commuting to this location only to be told that what they advertise is actually not true. Avoid this place unless you only have cash.

Here's what I ordered-- paneer kadai and raita. What I got was a random dish of paneer and onions with very little flavor, and raita without a single slice of cucumber. I'll never order from this place again.

Before the pandemic, I came here once for their lunch buffet which is a great deal ($10 only!). I came back to order takeout last weekend and was able to use my restaurant.com certificate. Make sure you have cash if you're making a smaller order, they don't take card for anything less than $20. When I was there there were a few other people waiting or eating; there didn't seem to be any extra COVID precautions compared to the last time I came prior to the pandemic but generally people were appropriately spaced. For my order, I got the dal tadka, pista coconut naan, and a mango lassi. When asked, I picked a medium spice level for the dal tadka which felt appropriately spicy. It was more watery than I expected, but got more solid in the fridge for leftovers afterward. The pista coconut naan was a sweet change from the normal or garlic naan I usually get, but I didn't get much of the pistachio flavor. Mango lassi was yummy, as they always are :)

The biriyani has large chunks of chicken, but also carrots... The samosas were a bit oily. The raita and samosa chaat - really delish!I feel that biriyani is the judging dish for an Indian place. Would love some crispy fried onions on top.

We found this great little place just a short walk from the Hampton Inn Boston/Cambridge. They had a great selection of vegetarian dishes, and we chose the vegetable pakora, Paneer Kadai, garlic naan, and chai. All was very good. They appear to be family owned and operated. They advertise a daily lunch buffet for $9.95 which I would definitely try if in this area again.

The food here is phenomenal, it is bursting with flavors and freshness. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a dinner date or a family dinner. The staff are attentive, and friendly making it ideal for both seasoned Indian cuisine enthusiasts and newcomers alike. I highly recommend this friendly, gem to anyone looking for a great Indian restaurant.

I normally don't review places, but want to put out a warning. This place gave me and my 3.5 year old daughter diarrhea for two days. The last of which was a major accident at midnight on the bathroom floor!!!Arrived at 1PM on a Saturday afternoon planning for the advertised buffet. Walked in to an empty dining area - only crickets, tumbleweed, and a faint sense of WTF did I walk into. Not a good sign for a buffet place, most are bustling with value seeking dinners. Opted to order saag panner and saag goat a la carte instead, assuming it would be freshly prepared. The entrees and rice arrived looking like weeks old reheated foods. The food immediately failed the taste test and tasted off, but against my better judgment, we persevered. The saag had a slight sour, and burnt taste that was masked with 10x more salt than needed. Is the salt trying to hide something? After a few bites, we left this rest. Check please and please dispose whatever stock of the disgusting food into the garbage bin please!I don't want to waste anymore of my time reviewing this place. If not for the diarrhea, I'd just let it pass. But due to to horrible experience I am letting the community know that there is nothing redeeming about this place. Horrible food, horrible service, horrible ambiance.

Non-existent service. I walked in to order takeout, and the restaurant was empty. We called out to the back, and a lady came out, asked if we were there to pick up an order (we told her we wanted to order takeout), and then walked away to the back. We figured she was sending someone else up front to take our order, so we waited another 5 minutes, but nobody came so we left.
