Service is very attentive. Food was just okay in my opinion but the people beside me kept raving about how this place is the best in Burien. If you have an itch for nepalese/indian food this place will certainly scratch that itch; but better can be found if you're willing to drive to the Eastside. (My current preference is Turmeric Kitchen).

Absolutely lovely addition to Burien!I arrived shortly after opening on a Saturday and was promptly greeted. Our server spoke very, very softly, but thankfully we were the only ones in the restaurant. On a busy evening I'd really struggle to hear him. I like that they took the guess work out of the spice level and explicitly state that it's Americanized. I opted for some veggie kofta, 4 stars. I wish I went with a 5, when they say Americanized they're not kidding! Garlic naan, of course, which was overall quite good. My dining partner is new to Indian cuisine and went with the chicken tikka masala, which was well received. They brought out a single plate of rice and let us know they'd be happy to bring more when needed. I washed it all down with a mango lemonade, which was delightful! While I was here 5 or 6 other people came in for pick up, all Caucasian, though they already straight up tell you it's Americanized and not authentic, so I suppose I'm not surprised. Overall I enjoyed my lunch, plenty of leftovers and I got my money worth, and I'd happily eat here again.

The food here was pretty good, I am personally a huge fun of Indian food, specifically Tikka Masala. The Tikka Masala was very flavorful, the Raita was fresh and creamy, the naan could've been thinner, it felt a little pizza dough, but that's just my personal preference. The staff working there were extremely pleasant. They were always looking for a way to help; moving empty plates out of our way and bringing us extra napkins and utensils when needed. They even asked if we wanted to me to a booth when we first sat at a smaller table in the center of the restaurant, which I thought was very thoughtful because although I wanted to move in my head, I wouldn't have asked if they hadn't asked me!The restaurant itself was very cozy and inviting. It was relatively lit, which I highly like about restaurants, I want to be able to see. Overall, great place.

The BEST Indian food in Burien and Normandy park and Des Moines! Not just Indian food, also Himalayan They don't deliver but Uber eats will get you the food. The restaurant is very basic and no thrills but nice service. I wish they would up their game there but it's fine. I'll add some photos next time I eat there or order.

Really pleased with our (party of two) first experience at this restaurant! We happened to be in the area, and in the mood for this type of cuisine, and Yelp led us here. The Tikka Masala (chicken) and Jalfrezi (fish) were both tasty, and the Garlic Naan was very good accompaniment. Our friendly and attentive server, Mohammad, brought us some more White Basmati Rice, just when we needed ( the original serving size was on the small side for two).We might try the Non-Vegetarian Dinner for Two next time. There will definitely be a next time.It was not hard to find nearby parking, despite the bustling dinner scene on this Burien street. We will be back to Burien too. Lots of interesting-looking eateries there.

Loved dining here. Parking wasn't too bad in the Burien area. The service here was extremely friendly and prompt. They have a very extensive menu, and everything we tried was simply delicious with excellent flavor. Portion sizes are also very generous. Loved their mango lassi and desserts too!

I've only gone for lunch and while it seems unassuming, it's a treasure. I've smelled the food coming from this place whenever I'm in the junction and it's always been a reminder "hey I'm need to try that place". Boy, am I glad I finally went. So far I've only had Indian basics (butter chicken, palak paneer, coconut curry, naan and samosas) but man have they all been dynamite. Service is super friendly. I can't wait to try more and move into the Nepali side of the menu. Lunch ambiance is quiet and calm. A great place to sit eat and think. A great place to dip your toe into Indian food if you looking to give it a try.

Excited to be trying this place out after my friend invited me but I was unable to attend because he gave me the wrong date. So there I was, eager to indulge first in some chai to help calm the nerves. Such a treat to sit back and enjoy the Indian music while taking in the smell and taste of all the spices. Quality food made from quality ingredients! We ordered vegetarian samosas while we waited on the main dish, chicken palak. It was delicious! I was able to share the plate with my two kids so the portion size is nice. We had to try the desserts, naturally, and I'm glad we saved room (barely) because it was amazing. Guys, don't sleep on it he mango ice cream because it legit taste like mango. I got the gulab jamun (warm) and it was the perfect end to my last bit of chai. 5/5 would recommend!

The food in Royal Everest is not consistent. Sometimes good, sometimes decent, sometimes bad. When it is bad, it is really bad. One time I had 2 dishes to go, they were both leftovers of leftovers. They were utterly uneatable, and highly possibly one could get sick from eating them. The other time, it was "much better", it was only leftover. It tasted only unpalatable. There were other times, the sauce was perhaps freshly cooked, but the chicken was old. Is the owner at peace with himself? Is it worth it?

If you have kids, don't come here! The server brought a couples of big size glass with water and told us he can take it to prevent spell. I said no in case we needed it for an emergency, so suddenly the water spelled, and the survey got upset. I asked why you guy a do have a kids cups or put a note outside We don't sureve kids. No answer but the server attitude was very bad and unprofessional. Ifheciyld he can through us out. Thanks to God we are in America!
