All style and little substance. In the last year I've been to many of the best cocktail bars in Seattle and Bellevue. Unfortunately, Rouge is not in the tier they think they are. The cocktails are way overpriced. They charged me $26 for Whiskey Sour. To be fair, it was a special seasonal version but in no way was it worth that price. It was ok. Even for half the price I would feel the same. The group of 5 I was with felt the same about their drinks. The service was also very slow. The food was pretty good.

I've been to quite a few craft cocktail bars, in my travels. Rouge is very elegant. The curation of spirts is very good. Their cocktails are above average, but aren't amazing. What they called a Milk Punch, a favorite of New Orleans, was a country mile away from that classic. It was watery, instead of boozy, with a $20 price tag. The other cocktail that we tried was the Tiny Dancer. A bit tastier, but still exceedingly watery for a mixology bar. Bartenders are pleasant. They, like the drinks, lack a little passion and persona.Honestly I had better drinks at the AC Hotel bar, for quite a bit less. If you're trying to impress someone, or looking for a more romantic spot, you're good here. If you came for the mixology, and you know what is possible, it's a bit of a letdown, I'm afraid.

I really wanted to like this spot but I gotta say the drinks just were not that good for the price. If I'm paying over $20 for a craft cocktail it's gotta be just that... a craft. And sadly they tasted basic. The spot was cute but it was cold with air conditioning blasting, we all had to keep our big puffy coats on the whole night. Props to the restaurant manager who turned the air conditioner down which helped for a bit but then it got cold again after a little while. I should add that this was not summer time and it was cold and rainy out! The food was fine but nothing to rave about. The service was really slow. The manager was friendly but it took forever for us to get our orders in and for our drinks and food to arrive. When drinks finally came one of them was the wrong order ... so more waiting.

Love this place and will definitely be back! It's in old Bellevue and it's so chic inside. The guy who runs the bar/restaurant was so pleasant and clearly loves what he does. He made amazing drinks for my friends I and he provided us some history on how he chose the Brie cheese appetizer on the menu from his love of France, which by the was delicious! It had berries in it and the outer part of the Brie cheese was taken off, which made it easy to eat. I highly recommend going here!

My husband and I wanted to get out and enjoy a good lounge. We were not disappointed. I found this place on google and we thought why not. Located in Old Town Bellevue, it was east to find and I loved walking down the Main Street with all of the twinkle lights setup. We were seated in a corner booth, which we enjoyed. It was quiet and private and just had very chill, relaxing vibes. We initially just came for some drinks but they had some small bites and since we were loving our time there, we stayed and had our late dinner too. I enjoyed a couple of mock tails recommended by the manager or owner I assume, and he was incredibly helpful. It was passion fruit based he said and it was delicious. My husband is a Gin fan and although the green tea he was unsure about, he went with the Zen garden. He absolutely loved it. He ended up ordering 2 more before the night was done. Let me just say for a cocktail lounge, the food was absolutely satisfying. We may just go back for the food. It was that good. We started with the marinated olives and stuffed mushrooms. Both delicious and the mushrooms were filled with Boursin and Parmesan. Sooo good! Once we enjoyed that and had decided to stay we also ordered the steak bites, baked Brie, and creamy pancetta rigatoni. Omg all three were amazing. That rigatoni was one delicious pasta. My husband made little steak and Brie bites with the baguettes they provided. Last we finished off with the rum soaked bread pudding, and it was DRENCHED. You won't have a hard time tasting the rum lol. It was moist inside and a nice crust outside. We can't wait to return. We had a lovely night out, and this place is the perfect date night spot.

Beautiful place to go for a drink. Live music on Thursdays. Happy hour is a good deal, 5-6pm. Our first round of cocktails were disappointing. Like another reviewer mentioned, they tasted watered down. Our second round of drinks were better.

Let's talk about this amazing find in Bellevue!! My husband and I have been on the hunt for amazing date night areas in our local city and this place came up! I am always a big fan of unique and creative cocktails and this place delivers!! We didn't do a reservation since it was first come first serve but on Friday night it was not super packed! I loved the beautiful dark atmosphere which makes you feel like you're in a speakeasy. For our drinks - the only one star I removed was on the timing of the drinks. Our first set of drinks did come long after we were done with our food which I would have loved to have my drinks before the food. My favorite drink has to be this pink cocktail!! I have never had something like this before but it was delicious and so refreshing! Also the food that we got which was the brisket Mac and cheese was super flavorful and amazing! A great small plate for my husband and I! Would love to come back and try out some more food and cocktails!!

My partner and I had a fun time. It was a Saturday night at 7pm. The Bar Manager Bobby introduced himself and after a conversation, he recommended cocktails and they were delicious. Try any of the Mezcal drinks! Bobby seems to really like his career choice and seems to be great at it. I will definitely be stopping by again.

Very cool/retro/hip cocktail lounge!Big menu of a wide range of interesting cocktails and everything we ordered was very tasty and unique. One was a cocktail with olive oil and dill in it that was very savory tasty. One came with an alcoholic cherry freeze pop, which was awesome. The banana old fashioned was excellent, with strong, tasty, and not gross/fake banana flavor in it.Staff behind the bar were super busy but also very friendly and great at their jobs.I definitely wanna come back and try more of the drinks!
