This cafe is simply delightful, exuding charm and coziness. The menu boasts an array of delectable and wholesome options, accompanied by an impressive coffee selection. I indulged in a turkey sandwich that surpassed all expectations, with flavors that elevated it beyond the ordinary. The bread alone was a delightful treat. Moreover, the relaxed ambiance and the warm and attentive service provided by our server truly made the experience exceptional. Love this cute place for a lunch spot!

The food and service are good. Great variety. There is limited seating and you will likely have to wait. If you have hearing issues, it's very loud.

The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and we opted to sit outside during our visit. The surrounding street is relatively quiet, allowing for a peaceful dining experience. The staff was friendly and provided recommendations. While I found the dill on the sauerkraut to be unpleasant, the Ruben sandwich was still enjoyable, but I would have loved more meat. The coleslaw was fresh, and the chips were crispy. The cafe was clean, and my pomegranate mimosa was refreshing, while my husband enjoyed his recommended beer. We plan on returning to try their famous oversized cookie.

Perfect lunch spot in the lovely Proctor district. The staff was so friendly and really hustling. We had salads (Mom had the bacon & blue, I had the grape & grilled chicken), they were so clever, delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. Loved it and will be back to try a sandwich!

Great place to have a nice quiet lunch with friends. The food was amazing! The appetizers were wonderful, and the salads did not disappoint! The place was full, and the service was still great. If you have the opportunity, it is worth a visit. The sandwiches all looked amazing as well. The serving sizes are plentiful also!

I recently dined at the restaurant and overall, my experience was good. The standout dish was the blackened salmon Caesar salad, which was loaded with flavor. The homemade dressings really shone through, and the blackened seasoning on the salmon was expertly prepared with just the right balance of spice and umami. It tasted like a well-crafted, home-cooked meal.On the other hand, the Beer Cheese soup was a disappointment. It was overly bitter, likely due to the super hoppy beer used in its preparation. Unfortunately, my dining companion and I did not enjoy it at all.My wife ordered the 26th street Ruben sandwich, which was decent, but not exceptional. The sandwich was a bit heavy on the dressing, which overpowered the other flavors. Additionally, the corned beef had a slightly frozen taste to it, like it had been thawed from a freezer, which detracted from the overall experience. However, the kids' mac and cheese was a hit with our little ones, so that was a plus.In terms of service, we found it to be just okay. We didn't feel that the staff was very attentive to us, which could be because we had two young children with us or possibly due to other reasons that I won't speculate on.Overall, I would recommend the blackened salmon Caesar salad and perhaps some of the other dishes on the menu, but would caution against ordering the Beer Cheese soup or expecting standout service

I have gone here since I was a kid and the food never disappoints. I get the tuna fish sandwich every single time and it is to die for! Everyone there is super welcoming and nice. It's definitely a hidden gem and everything is fresh.

We stopped in here for lunch. They were super busy but very efficient. It was a well oiled machine so don't worry if you show up with a line out the door. They work quickly and efficiently to get everyone fed. My hubby had a sandwich which he loved . I had lasagna which had a sweet tasting sauce - not my favorite but still ok.

Had a nice lunch in this cute cafe. It's located in a quiet neighborhood with a small lot and ample street parking. It was pretty busy for a Tuesday afternoon and it seemed everyone knew each other and were old friends.Service was friendly, I got Renee's veggie sandwich-lots of colorful veggies and toasted with Havarti cheese. Sandwiches come with Cole slaw or chips. It was good-very fresh and perfect lunch portion. My boyfriend got the salmon platter with mashed potatoes and broccoli along with garlic bread. He enjoyed it. All in all, a very enjoyable neighborhood spot.
