Rosa's Ice Cream and Fruit Bar

Came here out of just being around and wanting ice cream . And this place did not disappoint . Everything we got was flavorful and we devoured our treats . The strawberry banana smoothie was rich in flavor . The hot Cheetos with cheese was delicious. The Tostilocos were mess free and we ate everything even the juice remaining . Their cotton candy ice cream was mouth watering delicious . Rich and full of flavor .Glad we stumbled upon this place . Definitely coming back here again . Service was complimentary!

I had a really good ice cream creation here called the Coffee Coco (coffee ice cream, walnuts, peanut butter, fudge)! The portions were very generous at a medium size with 3 full scoops of ice cream and a whole bunch of walnuts and a wad of peanut butter. The employees were really friendly as well. There were several ice cream creations that really caught my eye, like the caramel banana, apple pie, the other coffee flavor, and some fruity/cheesecake ones as well.The area outside is kind of sketchy though.

I ordered a small and would hate to see what a large looks like cuz this small was ridiculously big!!! I couldn't eat it fast enough cuz there was just so much of it. This spot is my new cold stone replacement. Has every sweet topping you want, crepes, smoothies, tortas, tostilocos...like they literally have it all. Check 'em out!

I love this low key fruit and dessert place near us. You can get smoothies, milkshakes, ice cream, and sandwiches here. I had a scoop of coconut macapuno ice cream, and also the large chamango. Kevin had the fruit mania smoothie (nondairy). I love the fresh fruit combo. Next time I will try a smoothie. Try it this summer!

Customer Service 10/10Tuna Torta 10/10Cleanliness 10/10First time visiting this place this week, as I was starving for a tuna torta. Upon reading all of the good reviews, I decided to check it out. Oh boy am I happy that I did. From the moment I stepped in to the moment I walked out; total satisfaction. My torta was the best torta I have ever had, it was so good and BIG! The Staff was incredibly friendly and professional the entire time; you can tell they really enjoy their job. I will definitely be returning again!!

On Friday night I was craving an ice cream sundae so I decided to try out the new local ice cream shop my friend has been telling me about! Rosa's Ice Cream and Fruit Bar is the perfect marriage between my two favorite things in the world: ice cream and fruit! Need I say more?! Rosa's Ice Cream and Fruit Bar is essentially, Cold Stone meets your local Disfrutalas I decided to try out one of Rosa's favorite creations: The Good One . It had vanilla ice cream with walnuts, brownies, strawberries, and fudge! I went with a Medium size and added a waffle bowl for $1 extra. The $5.75 medium ice cream + $1.00 for waffle bowl = $6.75!!! The ice cream was everything I was craving. The employees were fun and friendly. The size of the shop is small but larger than a hole in the wall. It is comfortable; great menu selection [more than just ice cream], good lighting, tables to sit at and enjoy your sweet treats, and an overall good atmosphere. The signs are legible, good use of pictures, and easy to read. Next time I plan on trying out Rosa's Apple Pie ice cream sundae

If I want ice cream I love going here! The family owned business is so great. Staff is always so friendly and welcoming. The waffle cone bowls are delicious. Great ice cream sundaes to choose from. A couple of tables if you want indoor seating. Love it here.

Had a rough day at work and I been checking the pix out of this place it looks sweets.It can be easily miss if you were looking for it. Even if you were, you can missed it. I had to parked across the street and walk over to find the spot. It's window was advertised in white of their goodies. The place is a/c I ordered the Chamango and a hot dog! And both hits the spot. Hot dog is pretty tasty and juicy. I think they added cheese to the flavor of cooked onions anfdA great combo. Quite flavorful.

My my my what delightful treats and TORTAS sold here! Wow. I had the Chicken Torta and a Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream for dessert.To begin, the chicken torta was a delicious almost ensalada de pollo intertwined into a melt of some sort. It reminded me of a tuna melt but with torta and I'm still in awe of how delicious that was. The Strawberry Cheesecake combination was excellent. A fresh frozen strawberry accent I will be back! Perhaps today~

An absolute gem in city heights "Full on satisfaction ".....you will be reminded of your early childhood days.They have some more hardy eats in case you are in for more than a snack.This place is flavor mecca !Summer is here and this fine little establishment has your cool off needs.
