Rosarito's Mexican Food

Since my first review, we grab take out here once every week or two. Adding a recommendation to our earlier review, the pollo asada enchiladas are pretty fantastic!Seriously, love this place for affordable, freshly made Mexican. Yum!

Tacos, tacos, tacos. It's Taco Tuesday and our neighborhood has the best ever Mexican restaurant. Take out or eat in and your taste buds will thank you. Whether it's Carne Asada, Pollo Asada, Carnitas, Shrimp and potato...the tacos, burritos, rolled tacos, enchiladas, tostadas...and the list goes on...just dang good food. And a must have is carne asada fries. Drop the mike... boom.

Extremely good. 100% authentic! I get their special 5 the rolled tacos, rice and beans... the BEST RICE AND BEANS hand down!!!! I've had ALOT of taco shops.... This place takes the win!! So much flavor! The rolled tacos are also delicious- crunchy, and filled with cheese guacamole and cotija cheese on top. So good! Forever loyal customers!

Good flavor, great price and portion size for their Taco Tuesday! Recommend! Nice dining room with clean tables.

New to the area ! We found this place online and it definitely does not disappoint . We've officially lived here 3 weeks and have visited here twice , it's hard to find a place that's consistent and Rosaritos is just that ! The food is delicious , affordable , fresh & made to order. Now in our household we do not eat red meat so ... we get the chicken tacos , fish taco , enchilada, tostadas & the fresh tortilla chips + guacamole ! The beans and rice are also very flavorful . This restaurant sits in a (what seems like a vastly closing shopping center) ??

This is my number one spot for carne asada burritos on my lunch break. It's popular.

Carne asada was so tough it took me at least 5 minutes to chew and eat the first bite.

After 3 different attempts at this place, every attempt was horrible. 1st: ordered a Cali burrito with guac.. payed extra for the guac... only carne asada and cheese..... 2nd: ordered a carne asada burrito! Was very hopeful... but received AGAIN... only carne asada and cheese but his time they added sour cream. .... No guac.... No pico.... 3rd: tried again to order the carne asada... came the exact same even AFTER my husband asked specifically what's in the burrito and confirmed with the girl at the counter..... still came out completely wrong.Everytime we have gone there we have been very disappointed. We will never be coming back, and we will now be driving the extra mile for Chuys Taco Shop, because they actually care about service and correct orders. Seriously disappointed. We really wanted to like this place because it's so close to us but now we know, quality clearly is a stretch.

I lived in La Mesa for over 30 years. EASILY my favorite taco shop of all time and it's not close. Everything I've had here is fantastic. It's a fan favorite when I have friends in town visiting elsewhere. Considering how expensive everything is these days, the prices have gone up but are still pretty fair compared to a lot of "fast" type food restaurants. Overall, FANTASTIC!

Rosaritos is our go to for Mexican food. It is always delicious! Whenever we have out-of-town guests, they always want to eat Rosaritos!
