Rory's of Edmonds Bar & Grill

My friends and I go here quite often. Food is good and so are the drinks. Most of the servers are super nice and friendly. It's usually busy, especially when it's nice out! It's just a cozy place to hangout and meet up with friends!

Fabulous food and location! Loved the atmosphere, too. Funny and nice waitresses. We will definitely be back!

Came here with 5 buddies and one baby. The baby is technically not born yet but baby still had a great time inside the tummy. This is a great place for pregnant ladies to come to. Their mock tails are to die for! I didn't try one but the buddy of mine who is holding baby in her tummy did try one and my other buddy who is the reason their is baby inside of her tummy also tried some of hers. I didn't even ask them how it was but they seemed happy after and I didn't ask baby either but baby seemed happy after as well. Part of me wanted to ask if I could touch the tummy where baby was and maybe feel for a little movement from baby or a kick. I didn't. Honestly all of me wanted to ask. Now that I am describing the moment I'm not sure why I didn't ask. What is there to lose. I think baby would like it too I'm typically good with babies I know this because they cry a lot when they are with me. I ordered buffalo shrimp. They brought it to me. I love when restaurants do that. The buffalo shrimp had a kick to it I really liked it I also liked the red sauce I dipped it in (not ketchup) and the white sauce (not mayonnaise).

Love this place, except it can get a little loud. They make a good Long Island ice tea.

We love Rory's. Good ambiance and great conversation but won't lie, mediocre bathrooms especially after drinking. Solid beer selection. Friendly and nice service. There have been times where our sandwiches, especially Reubens, have been burnt and blackened, but they're not often. Seems like the kitchen could use work.Mozzarella Sticks - great appetizer! Cheese pull could be better but probably a generic frozen mozzarella stick. I like the touch of adding parmesan on top.Mini Corn Dogs - I have not had a corn dog in so long so it was a nice reminder. The nice thing is that this also comes with fries so it's a double (or half-half) appetizer for a party. Fries are also a very safe party item that most people like. This came out burning hot.Rory's Fish and Chips - three pieces of hearty cod. Not overly battered to the point where you bite only into batter. Wish you could add more pieces but it's better than two.Full Rack Ribs - comes with a small salad but it's a pretty good appetizer. Also fries but they sit beneath the ribs so they're harder to get to. Overall ordering ribs is great value. I would even say it's worth sharing instead of a personal entree, but I'd still take it as an entree either way. However, the ribs were phenomenal. Like the menu says, the meat literally falls off the bone. They don't exaggerate. Every single rib was clean and was so easy to eat. Enough sauce on the ribs that I didn't need more but they did provide barbecue sauce on the side.

I was visiting Edmonds and wanted to take a break from shopping to grab lunch. After a Yelp search (of course), I settled on Rory's. The menu variety and photos on Yelp caught my attention. Rory's is conveniently centrally located and has street parking nearby. During my visit I decided to belly up to the bar. Was in a burger mood but also craving a caesar salad. The bartender offered to sub a side caesar in lieu of fries. Perfect. While awaiting my burger I had a delicious martini and watched the bartender work. She mixed cocktails while taking additional orders from servers and did not miss a beat when previously ordered food was brought out. I often can't remember why I walked into a specific room in my home so this three-things-at-once performance seemed like a bit of magic to me. The burger was quite good. Soft bun with a perfect bread-to-meat ratio. The caesar salad had a tasty dressing too. Would order both of those items again and I'm planning to return to Rory's on a future visit to Edmonds.

Yeah, pretty good. Nice service. Better than average bar food. Nice neighborhood by the ferry.

I love this place! Most negative reviews are from people that have inappropriate expectations, so I would ignore them. We went to Rory's as a chance to get together with both our sons & their families. Six adults & 5 kids. They couldn't have been more accommodating. Brooke was our staff person & she did a wonderful job! Please give her our thanks! We were able to get all 11 of us around the fire, she split the checks, & she was highly attentive attentive. Water was never empty. Drink orders filled quickly. AND... the kids never complained (rare). Having spent over $350 (before tip) at another restaurant a couple of nights ago, it was refreshing to walk out with a bill that was extremely reasonable & everyone feeling they got a good meal for their money. The kids were especially pleased. There is a reason this restaurant is always packed.

We were able to snag an outdoor table on a gorgeous sunny day, and had a great time! The staff is very friendly and attentive, and their menu selection is great. We had the fish and chips - would definitely recommend!

This is a great restaurant. It's hard to find a good restaurant in Washington these days. Chelsea was our server and she was great. She was busy but she seemed to genuinely care about the service she gave. The food wasn't spectacular but it had a great price point. $13 for halibut fish and chips is killer, and it wasn't bad. The price of the alcohol was super fair too. Overall I thought this was a pretty good restaurant. My boyfriend and I had a good time. I'm not in the area too often but when I come again, I'll consider dining at Rory's!
