Came for brunch on a Sunday :) Awesome food, casual sports bar atmosphere. They had the patio window open and it was light and airy.The Eggs Benny with Ham ($14.5) was on point! The tater tots were also extra crispy and wonderful.Staff is attentive and lovely.

As a proud South Seattle resident of 20+ years, I'm lucky to have Rookies in my backyard. It's great place to watch games, have lunch meetings at, and go with medium sized groups. They have the best happy hour in the neighborhood and their food is affordable. I want to highlight one employee in particular who made my most recent visit extremely memorable. Colin, the bartender is an expert at his craft. I ordered a gimlet and he shared that celery bitters elevates the drink. He suggested that I ask for celery bitters whenever I order the drink if the bar carries it. Since Rookies does not carry celery bitters, he walked across the street to Lottie's Lounge, borrowed their bitters, and made me sample gimlet with them. Unmatched customer service in addition to being super personable. Some dishes to highlight: grilled cheese + tomato soup, Irish nachos, fried Mac and cheese balls, and Buffalo shrimp. The burgers are also made with Macrina buns - yummmm!

One of the hidden gems of Columbia City. Their burgers are amazing -- well seasoned and perfectly cooked. I normally get the Reuben, which they also do very well. The wings are also very tasty. The wait-staff is universally friendly and the food comes out at a good pace. My son is right on the cusp of kids menus vs. adult menus and he loves their adult menu. We come so often the staff knows to bring him an adult menu! They have numerous TVs so if there is any game of note you wish to watch, it is almost always on. My only complaint is that they got rid of the waffle fries -- they will be missed.

Just as I remember! Used to come here a lot when we lived on Beacon Hill. Now when we come to visit, it feels like homecoming!Tonight i ordered the shrimp po boy with sweet potato fries & an Arnold Palmer. Husband ordered a mushroom burger with Field Roast and a salad. My brother ordered the fried Mac & cheese. It is always good to come back. We always return!

This is such a hidden gem. Looks like a run-of-the-mill sports bar, but their menu is pretty great. Especially their breakfast. I'll never understand why people wait in line in front of Geraldine's for over an hour, when they could walk up half a block and have a better breakfast with no wait! Staff always nice and friendly. Highly recommend.

We've gotten take out from here a bunch of times and came in once for brunch. It's great food for a sports bar and nothing we've ever gotten here has been bad! We usually go for their burgers, which are delicious. I'll want that their fries don't travel that we'll and are usually soggy if we're picking up/doing take out. The knockout nachos is huge and the fried Brussels sprouts are pretty good. For brunch I got chilaquiles with salsa verde and it was delicious!A great go-to for CC!
