Roman Wolves

What a great new find! From the Bruschetta to the rack of lamb to the risotto to the fettuccine Alfredo, these folks are worth the visit!Luca and Kane rocked on the service. Food was great - what's not to like?Visit!

We had a good dinner at Roman Wolves, ordering some apps and entrées, as well as drinks including red wine (chianti), Margarita Al Malone, and martinis (espresso martini and the passionfruit Pornodivo Martini.)Rating: 4 stars.Food 4 starsAtmosphere 3 starsService 4 starsOverall, the service was okay. They were quite attentive but didn't seem to know how to time the removal of the apps and plates and bringing out the main course, seeming hesitant with the transition.The ambiance was meh. I miss Cafe Gratitude. It is a very longish layout,when you walk into the restaurant, you'll see the space extends to the right.The seats are plush and comfy. The music was loud pop/clubby music. Would've been better to have traditional Italian music. The decor and lighting was bland. The food was good. We ordered a bunch, including the Suppli, Burrate & Prosciutto salad, Pinsa Caprese. For mains, we got the Cheese Wheel, Branzino, Spaghetti Carbonara, and Pollo alla Cacciatore. The cheese wheel and Cacciatore stood out to me. I probably wouldn't order the Branzino again. I love fish, but the flavors were too much (they baked the rosemary and herbs in the fish), though it was nice to have deboned fish.

Went here for a friends birthday dinner and for the majority we really liked it (couple of things that made me give 4 stars versus 5, which I'll get to). Def would recommend sitting inside which was super trendy and had a great vibe! We unfortunately sat outside which was essentially sitting on the sidewalk. Right off the bat we had an issue with being overlooked and I ended up having to talk to the hostess; there had been a miscommunication on who our server was and we got ignored. I will say, they hands down made it up to us, which is HUGE and really speaks volumes from a customer service standpoint. Not only did they buy our table a round of drinks, but from there on out we're super attentive and accommodating.We shared a couple appetizers to start which were good! And for our entrees we all opted to the get the pasta cheese wheel. In hindsight, I wish that I had chosen another dish but what I did get to eat was tasty. The special that night was a vodka sauce with gnocchi, shrimp and peas. My only complaint was that my portion was absolutely tiny. 2 of us asked for the dish with no peas so they made ours together and we got significantly smaller portions than the other 2 friends. My dish had only 4 shrimp, whereas my friend who got the dish as is had at least 10. On that same note, one friend doesn't care for shrimp and asked (if possible) to sub chicken for protein and they didn't make the substitution which was fine but the price wasn't modified. All in all it was good, and I would def return to give it a better assessment, and sit inside!

With all the social media hype around Roman wolves, was expecting a bit more. The vibe is outstanding, with incredibly friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. The food, admittedly, was a bit of a let down. Had a large group so got to try mutlple pasta dishes, apps, etc. and the quality of food (even for same ordered dishes) was wildly inconsistent. The ingredients were solid, and pasta fresh, but for a key spot in little Italy, the expectations were and are higher.

Luca was our server and was FANTASTIC. The dishes were all exceptionally prepared and the taste was perfect. The best pasta in Little Italy.

3.5 stars...Looking for a pre run pasta feast, and this joint came recommended on Yelp!Started out with a cocktail and draft, moved quickly to the caesar salad...cool, creamy, and a nice crusty crouton on top...beware the anchovy!Split the nightly cheese wheel special which was a vodka cream sauce with shrimp...very nice, and perfect portion to share.Ambiance is industrial chic, service was prompt and friendly, but prices were high even for this area. With so many Italian spots on this strip it is hard to over pay for good food, so while it was good pasta in a nice environ, the price was just a bit too high and I can't commit to an encore.

Such a cute restaurant! I ordered the paccheri piccanti al gamberi pasta. It was SO DELICIOUS! Service was amazing. Will definitely be back!

Best Italian restaurant ever! All of the servers were so nice and dun to be around. The food was amazing. The portion sizes were big too. The environment was over the top. Emily, Ivan, and Taylor were the best. 10/10

The food and service was excellent and exquisitely delicious. Everyone was nice and respectful to my table. Emilie, Ivan, Taylor were awesome as well. Very nice group of individuals and very good with what they do. They surely know how to take care of customers. Definitely a place I would recommend.

Came in with my boyfriend to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. Luca was our server and he was amazing! He was very personable and helpful and very quick and efficient with service. The pasta was amazing too, definitely recommend the cheese wheel. Thank you Luca!
