Rom Mai Thai

Unfortunately the service here was disappointing. I drove all the way home before I found out. The lady was petulant when I came back to point out the issue. I had this restaurant on my list for a while and was excited to try it but it didn't work out.

We eat a lot of Thai, this place is the best of them all!!! The lunch specials are great, and the swimming chicken, pad see ew , garlic chicken were all amazing!!

This Thai spot is tucked into the heart of Cap Hill, right on Broadway -- I grab takeout from here on particularly busy days since the portion sizes are large, but take this review with a grain of salt since I can't speak for the dine-in. The staff have always been very nice when I stopped in and I'm sure that dining in would be a significantly better experience! From a takeout perspective, the food is very OK and a bit on the pricier side. Everything tastes decent and like a classic Thai meal -- I've gotten Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mow, and Thai Fried Rice since the location is so convenient but I've found that sometimes the noodles stick together too much or the rice isn't flavorful enough -- on top of that, I find myself having to reheat it. I've had better takeout from Thai spots but maybe just need to go try it IRL!

Great atmosphere great food and wonderful service! It can get very busy on Broadway in Capitol Hill on a Saturday night, but you will find some Calmness here. The speed temperature and taste of the food was A+! The only thing I might advise on is to not get the pad Kee Mao , if that's your favorite Thai dish. Their version is unique and it might leave you wanting.

Got the beef salad (not good), chicken satay (delicious), & chicken red curry (ok). server was very nice but thai salad was NOT good. Left a generous tip as usual bc bad food doesn't mean bad tip, be respectful people. Ambiance was cute tho lol

It was one of the best Thai food places I've tried. The food was great, and the place was nice and clean.

Friendly, attentive, and kind service. Table seating only, no booths. Small, single stall bathrooms for men and women. Street parking down the block is free or pay to park on the road in front. Wasn't impressed with the food to be honest. I love pad Thai and unfortunately this lacked flavor and kind of bland. You have the choice of spice level up to four and I chose spice level 3 for my prawns pad Thai and didn't feel it was very spicy lol. Nice and quick service but food was lackluster so probably wouldn't return as I prefer other Thai restaurants.

We eat A LOT of Thai food & this is literally the best we've had. The peanut curry was amazing!

Ordered takeout and spicy. This was about the most bland Thai food I have had in a long time. The curry was basically coconut milk with a dash of chili flakes. The pad kee mao with prawns was okay. Flavor was much better than the curry but still not spicy and for a white boy from the Midwest I know what not spicy is. The food was hot and on time when we arrived. So service is on point there. I think they need to work on their recipe book a little bit and they would hit it out of the park.

Great food, drinks, & service! The ambiance and music are fantastic also. Calm & clean! 5/5 will be back!!!
