This is a nice Chinese bakery in Chinatown. The bakery is cozy and even has a few tables where you can sit. This is also the first time I've seen vegan pineapple buns (I didn't try them though)!I got the regular Hong Kong style pineapple buns and thought they were decent! The bread wasn't as fluffy as I wanted them but the crust was not bad. It wasn't super flaky or thick but still I would eat this bun again! $2.10 for a bun.I also tried their traditional milk tea and added boba. I wasn't a huge fan of the boba since it's the slightly harder kind and not the round black chewy tapioca balls, but it was okay. The tea itself was a little sweet so if there's a next time I would ask for less sugar!Their coffee toast was really tasty! It's so fluffy and yet part of it tastes like coffee cake! I've never tasted anything like that! The person at the counter was really nice as well!

Craving something sweet, savory, soft, and creamy? Then this place will have it! As a fan of Asian bakeries, I was immediately elated by walking into here to see a solid selection of options including vegan options (although I am not vegan it is efficient to be inclusive). Credit card charge minimums are $10 so bring cash if you plan on spending less. Cashier was very kind and patient. After much debate, I chose their vanilla bean cream croissant. As with most of their desserts, it was a good balance of being not too sweet, very soft, and cutely packaged. I will definitely be coming again especially as it is close to a bunch of other restaurant to check out.

Enjoying a slice of excellent durian cake should be a memorable experience for any durian enthusiast. The aroma of the cake was enticing, filling the room with the unmistakable scent of ripe durian. As I took a bite, the cake delivered a burst of flavor that was both satisfying and indulgent. The combination of the cake's texture, flavor, and aroma created a harmonious and enjoyable experience for the taste buds.Contributing to the excellence of a durian cake is the skill and expertise of the pastry chef or baker. Creating a perfect balance between the durian flavor and the other cake components requires knowledge and experience. The chef must have a deep understanding of how to handle durian in baking, as its unique properties can affect the texture and overall taste of the cake. A skilled chef was able to create a cake that showcases the natural sweetness and creaminess of the durian without overpowering it. The overall presentation and aesthetics of the cake also play a role in its value. An excellent durian cake was visually appealing, with attention given to details such as decoration, layering, and frosting. These factors contribute to a superior experience and justify the higher price point.

To help cure our food coma after lunch at Chinatown Food Court, we walked over to Rolls Village for coffee. The cashier was a sweetheart, and I loved that there were so many beverage and pastry options. All three of us got three different types of coffee and none of them were a disappointment. They had the perfect amount of sugar and enough caffeine to keep us awake. The Egg Tart was creamy and slightly sweet. We also tried the Cookie Cheesecake, which was way too sweet for any of us to finish. I'd pass on that one next time, but I'd definitely check out more of their baked goods.

Rolls Village is located in Chinatown. I guess their former name was Family Baking. The pastries were super cheap (around $2 ish for the regular size) and pretty tasty. The drink selections were extensive (coffee and teas) and priced decently. The hubs and I bought a variety of pastries, and some were better than others. I remember one pastry had cream in the description, but the filling wasn't really there. Did they forget to fill it in?! Overall the quality and price point were decent. The hokkaido milk tea was decently sweet and to my liking. It catered to my sweet tooth and the hubs' less sugary preference. You get the option of either hot or cold. The cold version was flavorful. The 3 layer coffee was pretty good. The coffee wasn't super strong imo since there was a layer of milk and brown sugar. It was overall tasty and sweet enough for my taste buds. They had a sign that said a $10 minimum for credit card transactions, but if you're close then they don't fuss. I am sure they welcome the business. The foot traffic was quite decent for a Sunday afternoon with people coming in for both drinks and treats.

I've been here twice, and the one thing I'd recommend is the BBQ Pork Bun. Everything else has been pretty middle of the road. I've tried the mango cake, the sausage bun, the Japanese cream bun, and the vegan hot dog floss bun. They're all okay. I've also had a (regular, non-flavored) latte and a matcha latte. The coffee was decent, no complaints. The matcha was my first time trying a hot version, so I can't really judge.I considered giving 4 stars just for the pork bun, which is legitimately tasty, a good example. But I've got to round down a little from maybe a 3.5 to a 3 based on overall mediocrity and an underwhelming atmosphere.

Omg rolls village has made my dreams come true with all the vegan options!! It is so hard to find Asian bakery buns made vegan. I am so happy I found rolls village !! The vegan "pork" floss bun is SO good. Exactly as I remember it. Yummy fluffy bun with the sweet mayo and floss topping. I wish I got more than one. Also loved the vegan coconut pandan bun, and red bean mochi!! The mochi made it super chewy and delicious. The regular red bean bun didn't have much red bean filling. They also had vegan mango cake which I didn't try. My family had the non-vegan pandan chiffon cake which I was told was super fluffy and yummy. Overall, I LOVE this bakery and so happy they have vegan options. Prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to be back !!

On our Wednesday shenanigans tour with all the asian bakery and Rolls Village was on our mind. We've been here so many times before but somehow forgot about it since we don't work in Doraville anymore. Hubby and I haven't ate at the food court in a while so we just want to come back and reminiscing about the past while eating great pastries. This bakery has many options and choices including vegan options. I love all the sweet pastries that they have to offer and hubby loves all the savory kind. They also have different flavors pound cake that they put in the fridge and its so so good. I only bought one thinking that's plenty for all of us to share since I purchased alot of other pastries as well. Oh how wrong I was, Everyone at the salon devoured the pound cakes and it left me speechless. This bakery and a local mom and pop shop so yes I do recommend them to everyone who wants to try them with an open stomach.Until next time!!! Peace

Stopped by this new bakery at Chinatown. Cute shop with all the usual classics at decent prices. They also venture into newer sweets like Japanese Cheesecake, unique rollcake flavors and fun looking breads. We bought one of their 4 flavor rollcake mixtures and generally enjoyed it. Will come back to try their egg tarts as they actually keep it warm in its own machine!
