This is, by far, the most amazing sushi place my boyfriend and I have gone. Where to start? The staff knows us by name and are the sweetest, most attentive people. They even give us free miso soup or edamame if we wait for a to-go order, or as soon as we come in. The sushi is the freshest in Chicago, and there are always fun and interesting new rolls and flavors to try. No other sushi we have had in the city is a match for Rollapalooza- they are the best! Coupled with their amazing kindness and service, this is probably our favorite restaurant. Thank you, Rollapalooza!!

Great selection of rolls for the price and quality. There were several options I wanted to try, but the hand rolls are why I ordered from here- it seems challenging to find hand rolls for delivery... I really enjoyed the Spicy Tuna Hand Roll, but the Spicy Scallop Hand Roll was a tad fishy/slimy. My favorite was the Caribbean, followed by that Crabby Crab. The Spicy Tataki was too salty, but it was okay. Super generous with wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce packets. Many other rolls I was debating to get, so I'm sure I'll order again!

This place has AMAZING SUSHI!!! As a vegetarian, I really appreciated the wide range of speciality vegetarian sushi options and in general, they have an insanely large menu with so many options! The portions are good for the price and the place itself is a cute with fast service! They also have free chocolate mochi icecream at the end which was so cute and sooo good!! Highly recommend stopping by!

Honestly the sushi was good, but it took FOREVER to come out. I feel like we were sitting there for way too long. And on top of that the portion sizes were super small. My husband and I ordered 3 rolls and usually we can't even finish 3 rolls. We ate all 3 and we were still hungry afterwards. However it's a cute spot and the sushi was good if you want a quick bite.

I feel so lucky Rollapalooza is in my neighborhood! They have the kindest, most attentive staff, and the sushi is fresh and delicious. The salmon sashimi or nigiri always hits the spot, and my favorite roll is the Meguan, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

We went into this sushi experience really excited because they have an extensive selection of rolls to choose from. Our rating of each roll is just "meh". The presentation could have been much better--many of the rolls were cut unevenly or the sauce was haphazardly poured so it made the rice soggy. Overall, we were disappointed by the experience, especially when you take price and portion size into consideration. Miso Soup: Nothing special but only $2.50 Rolla Blossom: Fresh taste but the asparagus flavor really lingered Aloha Roll: The roll was not bad but the sauce was so overpowering...at times, it just tasted like pineapple Salmon Avocado Roll: Solid but could have been portioned a bit better Pink Flower: Our favorite roll--it is fresh and filled with lots of fish. The asparagus flavor was strong though. We've had this at other sushi spots as well. Note: It is essentially the same as the Rolla Blossom app except it has rice. Hamachi Truffle Roll - Both of our least favorite. I could only really taste pesto...and there was no mention of "pesto" in the description. Also, maybe we got a bad batch of the soy sauce, but it was SUPER sour.We will not be returning, unfortunately.

My boyfriend and I came here Saturday night for dinner before a concert. We love sushi and were pretty excited to try Rollapalpoza! It's a really cute location, a bit on the smaller side (but that clearly doesn't effect your meal). They gave us free edamame to start which we thought was so nice! I also really like that you get a little dish with wasabi and ginger. I always feel bad when it's given with every sushi platter at restaurants and I never have the wasabi! We started by sharing the yellowtail jalapeño appetizer and it was SO GOOD!! Perfect combination, left just the right amount of heat, and had a really good light sauce as well.We split the Ocean Vinaigrette roll (was ok, but felt sort of like a salad in a roll), the German roll (was very tasty but the spicy crab inside definitely had a kick to it), and the Garlic Salmon roll (delicious garlic flavor, not too overpowering and the salmon was so good).I also really want to highlight how delicious their nigiri is! I love that they let you know right away one order comes with 2 pieces. I ordered the yellowtail and scallop. Both were so fresh & incredible! I highly recommend checking our Rollapalooza. Everyone was so friendly there and it's also in a fun area!

Hands down this is my favorite suchi restaurant. Rollapalloza accommodates every dietary need. My son, daughter-in-law, and I are Vegan and are thrilled to have many options to choose from, all of which are delicious. The food, the ambience, and the personable and caring staff all combine to a very special dining experience.

I have been going to Rollapalooza with my family since 2015. Food is consistently excellent, whether eating there or at home. Very good diversity of specialty maki and a pretty broad menu overall. The service is always great, even when it's busier. Looking forward to my next visit.
