Rocky's Subs

I wish I could give this 0 stars. This Philly cheesesteak was by far, THE WORST sandwich I've ever had in my life. There was not one speck of season on the meat and the cheese had a weird rubbery, yet wet consistency. I'm in actual awe, days later, at how bland this mess was. Just terrible.

Rocky's is great. I always get the cheesesteak and potato salad; however everyone I come with always enjoys what they get. The people are very nice and there is plenty of seating and it is very clean. You won't be disappointed with Rocky's and you will be supporting a small business, which is always a good thing.

I like trying hole in the wall restaurants because sometimes you find a gem but I was really underwhelmed by this establishment. It was cheap coming in at $21 for 2 cheesesteaks, 2 fountain drinks and 2 chips. The portion of food was decent but the meat was bland and flavorless. Underwhelming cheesesteak! When I got the sandwich I almost thought it was ground beef until I took a closer look and realized it was thin steak. While a hole in the wall can be an older establishment, old doesn't necessarily mean dirty and this place could do more to thoroughly clean or just give a new paint job. The table cloth we sat at was clean but while ordering I noticed the hand washing sink in the kitchen looked dirty and so did the trash can. I know, it's a trash can but that doesn't mean you can't wipe the outside of the Can once in a while. The decorations were dusty and near the baseboards carpet looked to have crumbs or specks of something. Some ceiling tiles look like they're going to fall any day. The soda fountain wasn't working properly either so we couldn't get our preferred drink. I get its a cheap filling meal but for that price, I'll go to grocery store and buy ingredients, season the steak well and make me a couple sandwiches at home AND buy me a bottle of wine too.

Took my fiancé here after going here for years with coworkers. Tried the hot pepper cheesesteak this time. It was a great choice. Omg that break is sooo fresh and soft. I love it every time. The food comes out very hot and quick. I'd recommend it. I can't wait to try new stuff next time.

We thoroughly enjoyed this place. My coworker found it and said we needed something new. I knew of the place for many years. It's not in the best part of town and don't let the looks fool you. The food was hot and fresh. We all had subs and one pizza. The Philly was super good , piping hot even after sitting a minute. The ladies brought the food to you. The best part is the sandwiches were filling but not too heavy. Very satisfying. The best part is 75.00 for lunch for 6 people.

The ladies working there work hard! They are kind and quick. The cheesesteak was ON POINT! Great taste, piping hot and hot the spot.

This place is a health hazard. It is disgusting atmosphere. They let homeless people use their restrooms and loiter around inside! I also caught covid from being there less than 30 minutes. If you have no regards for germs or cleanliness try it out, otherwise steer clear away from this crummy neighborhood, and nasty place!
