Great service great food downtown Friday harbor its a must try thick pancakes. It's an easy walk from anywhere in Friday harbor.

One of the best reviewed breakfast places in Friday Harbor for a reason! The service was over-the-top friendly. I had the Bacon Pesto Scramble and my broad had pancakes. I will definitely be back for their version of a Joe's Scramble should I ever find myself in town again! Top notch.

Have been coming here for years, the previous owner, John was great and ran a tight ship. We tried it under the newer, current ownership, twice over the past few months on various days and were let down both times. The food quality has gone downhill, unfortunately and service was extremely slow. Atmosphere was typical of this type of restaurant, louder than most, but typical. Being one of the few breakfast places in town, I'm hoping they iron out the kinks, things get better and I can update this review.

Great breakfast or brunch place! Came here after getting off the ferry and had a delicious breakfast burrito. If you like your food with a kick, they have a large selection of hot sauces. Service was decently fast but the place is small. So if you come with a large group you might need to sit at two different tables.

Well another cafe that cannot keep upWith demand of tourist nor locals. Visited this cafe for breakfast on a Saturday, we were there early and found a table quickly. We did receive be a menu but then we waited over 10 minutes to be able to order. The menu was decent size and had many options, the prices were ok but not great. Service was slow and they chose who they took care of first based on a process not many servers are taught. Atmosphere is loud as more people rolled into the cafe for food. When we did receive the food it was ok, just ok. The eggs Benedict was loaded with soggy spinach and took away from a delicious flavor from the eggs, hollandaise and crab. The fried steak tasted like old oil and the eggs on top were not cooked enough for over easy. Coffee was fine and honestly the toast was the only thing I really enjoyed. All in all it's a dive and the food is trying to be pretentious but is being prepared by someone that may not have the training to perform such a menu.So Mike R replied to my review which is too bad he didn't take the opportunity to address the issues instead called me a liar. I was there on Saturday around 8:45 am I got the fried steak and my husband got the eggs Benedict and I thought it was crab but maybe it was something else.... If you as an owner can't take criticism you will never grow as a competent business owner. So sad

We had a delightful breakfast here. The place was busy, but the servers were friendly and efficient at serving their customers. Their pancakes and breakfast sandwich stood out as favorites in our group. They have a great cook who does an amazing job. Their meals are good value for what you get. They had a few dishes that we didn't get to try that are different than the typical fare, like a chile relleno omelette.

Best corned beef hash in America! It contained an abundance of fresh made corned beef, more corned beef than potatoes, we even got a few whole slices of the corned beef in it. Very friendly & quick service in this intimate cafe. Delicious, stick to your ribs breakfast.

Professional waitress who can juggle bowling balls, steaming cappuccinos, and spinning plates of omelets--and knows every local's name. solid good food--we went back for breakfast and lunch.

Came here after reading other reviews. Best choice I made all day! We were greeted and seated within moments of entering. Water was promptly brought to the table. I had my two small kids with me (ages 3 & 6). We ordered quickly (because speed is important with my kids). The food arrived so fast that my kids didn't have time to change their minds about what they wanted. Even the half orders of French toast and pancakes were huge. I enjoyed eating what my kids left on the plate more than usual.

Pretty standard diner food but the portions are big and they serve breakfast all day so you have plenty of options. I wasn't blown away by anything but it's a good option for breakfast/lunch if you're staying in Friday Harbor.
