Rocko's Fireside

My wife and I love dive bars and Rocko's didn't fail. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch.Free parking can be found on the street, in the small parking lot in back and in the surrounding neighborhood. Parking can be challenging at times. Discover is an accepted form of payment.Rocko's has an outdoor seating area with shade umbrellas to enjoy during the warmer months. As for entertainment, one will find darts, live bands, TV's, and pull tabs.Rocko's provides a full bar, a small selection of local draft craft beer and a temporary food menu. During our lunch visit, my wife slurped on a Mac & Jack and I a Space Dust IPA.My wife ordered the Buffalo Chicken Salad for $11. Her salad was generous in size and the toppings were not skimpy.I ordered the BLT Sandwich for $12. My sandwich was one of the best tasting BLT's I've had in a long time. Delish.While enjoying our lunch together my wife and I tried our luck at pull tabs. We happened to be lucky this day and won $260.The staff as well as the local patrons were all friendly and relaxed. Rocko's will be added to our local dive bar rotation from here on out.

Decent dart bar. Drinks were a little weak. Didn't eat food. Staff were nice. We will try it again sometime.

Went there for the first time just as Covid was arriving and we liked the live music and staff was great. Went back post covid once and had to walk through the gauntlet of biker guys just to get in the front door, all wearing there club attire. Once inside it seemed like a clubhouse for biker clubs. It's a bit intimidating for a guy just walking in alone. I won't go back. The staff was great but I wasn't comfortable at all and went to Madison instead. Very disappointed because pre covid I enjoyed my time at Rocko's. If things change we will be back for sure.

While the Tacos and Burgers can be inconsistent. You can't beat the Taco Tuesday and Burger Thursday Special. $2 Tacos on Tuesday (hard or soft shell, Beef, cheese, tomato, olive, sour cream and salsa on the side)$6 Burgers with Fries or Tots on Thursday.Great little outdoor patio with some new seating additions.Dive bar vibe with Darts, a couple new chandelier additions, Large TV set up and fireplace. No BS bartender but will pour a great drink and keeps her customers taken care of.

Under new ownership. Love the neighborhood feel. Friday and Saturday karaoke with super nice DJs. Have made this my new go to. Typical bar food but always good.

Rocko's is a good ol' true dive bar. And I do LOVE me a good dive bar. First impressions are "yup, it's a dive" and "this place needs some love". I wish they would just put in a little bit of money to get chairs that aren't ripped, sturdy tables and some cool decor. Then I could easily add another star. We went in during the day so it wasn't crowded, just who appeared to be the regulars watching the game. The woman on staff was very attentive and friendly. The true hidden gem here is the food. Old faithful chicken strips/fries and a burger, which we didn't expect much from. But we were shocked, it was great. Better than some more upscale places I've been to! Also great prices! Will be back!

I don't go to bars, but this place has $6. Bacon cheeseburger w/fries or tots. They are under New ownership, remodeled, put in a couple pinball machines. Also you can get it to go.

Every time I drive past this place on a weekend it's full of people inside in out. Not in the packed club way, but you can tell it's a loved spot in the neighborhood. Between the karaoke nights, dart machines, and the kind staff, this place is solid. They make their drinks strong too!

Trashy and a very dirty dive, looks like it hasn't been cleaned or updated since the 70s.

Great place for karaoke and good nachos! Parking isn't the greatest. Bartender was nice.
