Rockfish Grill

Visiting from Massachusetts and impressed by the comparison! Excellent crispy fish and chips with nice fresh Cole slaw. The appetizer shrimp were big, juicy, and very nicely prepared, but the tequila lime dipping sauce was un-bee-leevable. We kept swabbing it up with the empty tails, and wanted to drink what was left ;-) The other nice surprise? As busy as they were tonight, service was Johnny on the spot. Our server Carolynn never seemed to break a sweat as she kept a pretty big room happy the entire visit... Good for you! And thanks!

Went in on a quick weekend getaway with a few friends. We were quickly seated in a packed house. They had a fantastic band playing music on Saturday night that kept everyone entertained. Rockfish Florentine: think of it like a chicken pot pie but with fish. It's super creamy, herby, and had flavors of butter and garlic. Even though it was creamy, it was light and fresh. Overall I was very happy with my experience and would recommend coming in again. Especially if a band is playing on a Saturday night! Would look forward to trying a lot of their other great options.

While staying in town I did take out from Rockfish. Staff was very nice when I arrived, food was done in a timely manner. Ordered a fish sandwich and pretzels with beer cheese. Both were fresh and delicious. Pretzels were probably premade which is fine. It was about the cheese sauce and it was definitely made fresh yummo. Packaged nicely so it survived the trip back to the hotel. Would definitely recommend and will be back

Okay first things first baby it's your boy Project Pattahh and I keep seeing that you have all these famous music artists visit and autograph ya'lls joint. Why haven't I been invited yet?Secondly, food was good. Large portions - also kind of expensive. But that's the price of doin business on the island baby I feel ya.Thirdly, mocktails ain't too bad so I see y'all like to keep it trippy.Overall this place is good for your standard American seafood fare. Service ain't too bad so all of the haters playin games on Rockfish BACKOFF cuz they keep it trill in Anacortes. 5 stars.

Don't go by the pictures posted. I was drawn in by the Coconut Shrimp picture. I even searched for a restaurant with Shrimp and Chips on the menu and Rick Fish Grill came up. I went there just for the shrimp but not even one piece of Shrimp was on the menu. Ok, plan B, I ordered the fish and chips. Hubby ordered Salmon Sandwich.BLAND BLAND BLAND. I EVEN SQUEEZED LEMON ON THE FISH but that didn't help. The cole slaw was also very flat with no taste. Hubby's Salmon was OK, The waffle fries were really good. He ate both his and my meal. LolThe service was weird, standing right over my should when it was pay time. Other than that she was OK Not the place we hoped or what I seen this this area as we were traveling. All other places were so great‍The ambiance was welcoming and wonderfully smelled of a wood burning stove. The music they had on was excellent. Would I come back....NO

Had the white fish and clam chowder. The soup was hot although a little on the watery side. The fish was decent. It was a huge portion and I got full pretty fast. I tried to eat the larger pieces so I could actually eat some of the fish versus the small pieces that were really just a thick breading. Service was decent for a busy place and we made friends with a local sitting next to us at the bar. Great little town with cute shops. We happened to visit when there was a block party/ street fair. Lots of fun and unique items for sale.

Rockfish is a quaint little place located in the heart of old Anacortes. It is nicely decorated and clean. I found the ambience to be very inviting with what looks to be it's original 19th century bar and antique woodwork.The service was fast and friendly, our waitress did a great job. Unfortunately I wasn't very impressed with my meal. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was rockfish I believe, it was dredged in panko and over fried making the thin filet tough to bite through and somewhat dried out. The accompanying sides- waffle fries and coleslaw where ok. The coleslaw needed more dressing and seasoning. Will I be back? Maybe. I think next time I will try something different. Perhaps their Rueben Sandwich? We'll see.

While staying in Anacortes for a week I revisited some eateries that I'd been too during COVID to see how they had changed. Unfortunately a few didn't make it!But Rockfish survived. I think this is probably o e if the best Fish & Chips plates I've had anywhere except the UK and NZ. The 2piece is enough for two. We'll presented, cooked perfectly and plated with a great coleslaw or fries. My next visit a week later I ordered from the kids menu. Same great good just less.The beer choices are great, all brewed on the premises. And if you like a spicy margarita, order the Jalapeño lime!!You won't be disappointed.As for the servers, they're all good,Some just better than others.I know I'll be back

Rockfish Grill was so wonderful. The fish tacos were light and flavorful. The oyster shooters were MASSIVE! The passion fruit mule was the best - full of flavor and packed a little punch.Our waitress was kind and efficient. The bar tender was really on his game. I also loved the restaurant vibe overall - lots of fun pieces of artwork. I would definitely come back.

We have eaten there before now. The food was quite delicious. At times it took a little longer than we thought usual. This review is for the cream cheese brownie, vanilla ice cream, and the berry cobbler desserts. First of all, the helpings are enormous and we could have had plenty with just one brownie to split and the same with one ice cream serving. I would not want to order one each again. We could each only manage to eat one half of our desserts and that was pushing it for sure.Each dessert was absolutely delicious. The vanilla ice cream all by itself was a real treat--rich, and with tiny speckles of vanilla bean.
