Small space, killer food with great drinks. Service, on point. No hassle,easy.Burger,fries,and a drink. The fries were perfect. The burgers, same. The sauce, same again. I have to go back and try more of the food. They have a ton of different sodas, and a soda fountain station with unique selections.

Got delivery last night. The good: the burger was fantastic! Double cheese burger, w/a side of bbq sauce was terrific.Kids chicken nuggets were decent, so I would definitely try a chicken sandwich here.The bad: the fries. The fries were cold, limp and soggy with grease -inedible. Thus, for $31 w/decent tip and delivery fees - definitely not worth it.Also, they still use styrofoam which is not-sustainable and adds to the soggy fries.

Couple of my friends haven't been to Rocket Burger. I figured they should give them a try. I already know they have the best burgers and fries in the valley. My friend Frank had a question about double cheese burgers. Does Rocket Burger give you one or two slices of cheese on a double . The answer is one slice per burger. He says Burger King (Yuck) only gives you one slice of cheese for a double. Frank ordered a double bacon cheese burger. My other friends ordered the cheese burger special. Comes with fries and a drink. They all enjoyed their meals. I tried the Santa Fe burger. Comes with a fried green chile (cornmeal), lettuce and tomato, bacon, and rocket sauce. My first time having this burger. It was outstanding. I had an order of fries too. They are my favorite fries anywhere. Love the crispy little fries along with the softer ones with the skin on some of them. This mom and pop place is second to none. Always tell anyone who likes burgers about "The Rocket".

The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is quite good! It doesn't look like much from the outside. Honestly, it doesn't look great on the inside either, even though it IS clean. But surprisingly, I did enjoy the burger I shared with my son and I liked the selection of sodas they had inside the store itself. So if not for the ambiance of the restaurant, it would have had a full 5 stars.

This place is a TRUE Phoenix gem. Walls and walls of old style sodas-any flavor you can think of. Small but mighty space. Amazing food-one of the best burgers in Phoenix.

This burger was incredible. Cooked perfect with a soft bun, delicious sauce, and quality pastrami stacked on top. I was in heaven! Dare I say the best burger I've had in Arizona yet? It might not be an over the top "Instagram" pic burger, but it was absolute perfection. Fries were tasty too. The entire family enjoyed their food. The soda options were fun too. We would definitely come back!

First time visit to Rocket Burger and Subs and from the outside it looks a little rough. The inside was no different and definitely in need of a make-over. Huge craft soda collection if that's your thing. Don't let appearances scare you away. The Afterburner burger was excellent. It was not as spicy as advertised even with fresh jalapeños. Onion rings were fresh not frozen and ranch sauce was good. Fried zucchini and chicken bites had a salty breading but still hit the spot. If in the area and looking for an old fashioned burger give them a try. Honestly the Afterburner Burger might be the best burger I have had in Phoenix!
